Let's face it May 2012 is full of bank holidays leading up to an extra day off thanks to the Queen. We are all bound to get updiffed and miss the time off -(where we should be in the pub) looking after our new babies.

A bus for those who find it difficult to remember new names. Ting ting - no getting off untilk a BFP.

Starting the stats Bleats (31) TTC#1 af due 31st Aug ish

Apologies pipbin. I just skimmed the last few entries and mis-read - sorry! Sounds like you're in the same position as me. Waiting and hoping x

Congratulations harmony

Pipbin · 06/09/2011 19:44

I really don't hold out much hope.

TMI Alert
The last two days I've had really grotty brown discharge. As I use a menstrual cup I know it was only about 1/2 a teaspoon.
I'm hoping it's an implantation bleed but I'm sure not.

180 · 06/09/2011 21:24

Evening all

Think I'm roughly 9dpo today, but been so busy have no idea. Fortunately no time to dwell on it this month!

Pipbin, fingers crossed for you.

Trying to work out who is still here!? Too tired to do anything atm.

WaitingforStork · 07/09/2011 07:41

Morning all!

Looks like you all came out after I finished work, guess I'm the only slacker that hangs around here during the day (at least when no one else is in the office).

From recent posts I think Pipbin was still hanging on, Knitty is still here, Byrnsie is due to test today and then me and you (180). Think there are probably a few more lurking but at the uniteresting bit of cycle with nothing to report.

How is everyone today?

Think I'm 6dpo today (based on OPKs last month and cramps I had on day 16). Nothing really to report, did find myself a bit short tempered and emotional yesterday but I think that has as much to do with the pressures of TTC then being a symptom. Took the dog for a walk and he kept running off chasing other dogs so I had to put him on his lead and he pulled and tugged for the rest of the walk, got home and he wouldn't leave me alone, kept jumping in my face and trying to lick me. Usually I just tell him no and he goes and lies down but he just wouldn't quit so I had to shout at him which isn't fair, isn't like me at all and then I got upset cause I'd shouted at him. Probably just a bad case of pmt brewing.

Slightly sore boobs but that's usual for me, only thing out of the ordinary is a fair bit of cm but (tmi alert!!) only when I go for a no.2 (feel like a school kid calling it that, but not sure what is polite online!) or go for a real hunt (again tmi!).

What's everyone else's symptom status?

x

Byrnsie30 · 07/09/2011 08:34

Hey all,

Still got my fx for everyone, we are all so close to the day of reckoning now.

Technically I could test today and get an accurate result, but I might wait another day or two if I can. I have been closely monitoring cycle length since Jan and although I have mostly had a 32 day cycle recently, there have been times when it's been 33 and 34 days long!

I'm in a quandry actually. If I test today and get a positive, then start bleeding in a few days as I have in the past I will be gutted. Then again, I don't know if I can take another few days of anticipation and hope building!! What will you ladies be doing? minipie as we are sitting next toeach other today (ready to ring the bell one way or another) what are you planning to do?!

This is almost worse than the 2ww! Grin Biscuit Brew

Byrnsie30 · 07/09/2011 08:35

Thanks for updating the list stork - it was getting confusing! x

WaitingforStork · 07/09/2011 08:57

Not sure what I'm going to do yet - far too early at the minute to contemplate POAS (just as well I have none in the house!). Cycles have been between 26 and 29 days long, 26 would make af due Sunday 11th, 29 would make it due Wednesday 14th. Think I picked the 13th as an average for the stats (or was having a bad maths moment).

Think I'm just going to try and wait it out. A least until Sunday...

Byrnsie30 · 07/09/2011 09:02

Something which helped me wait a little longer was ordering my tests on-line - that way you can't rush home from the shop loaded with a million, expensice digital tests! Good luck with the wait Stork.

I'm heading out of the house with a friend soon, so that should hold me off for another few hours. My stomach is doing somersaults though! Confused

WaitingforStork · 07/09/2011 09:06

Enjoy your outing! Wish I was out, work is a bore at the minute, can't wait to get BFP and planning my route out of this place with a definate timescale.

I'm usually pretty good with test purchasing, tend to go for Asda's own, about £3 for 2 not the end of the world to keep peeing on them!

knittymum · 07/09/2011 10:00

Morning all! I think I'm 8dpo today, roughly. I'm determined to be strong and wait to test. At least until next Wednesday, when I'd be a day late (fingers crossed!). It's my anniversary today, so I'm passing the day with cooking up a storm for our dinner tonight. And with watching cheesy pregnancy programmes on Discovery home and health! I just can't help myself!

180 · 07/09/2011 10:03

morning! Thanks for updating the list Stork. Byrnsie, hope you have a good day out.

I'm CD27 today so toying with going to get some tests from Asda. Have a drinking event on Saturday so want to know by then anyway! Maybe I should wait until Friday just in case it is a 34 day cycle this month (varies between 29 and 34).

I am so tired, am dragging myself about and finding it hard to do anything. No other symptoms at all though. Last time with #2 I didn't know I was pregnant and thought I had ME so there is a chance. Have drunk quite a bit of coffee this month, largely because I am knackered. Ooops.

Byrnsie30 · 07/09/2011 15:06

Hay all!

Well I've made it to 3 o'clock on CD 33 without testing. How much longer can I last?!

Tune in later to hear the next part of this exciting drama...!!!! x

WaitingforStork · 07/09/2011 15:41

Oh, what a tease!!!

I really hope it's good news when you do x

knittymum · 07/09/2011 16:30

Byrnsie, that's self-restraint! I have a 29 day cycle, and i'll be lucky if I get as far as day 29 without giving in!

Pipbin · 07/09/2011 18:18

Well the little bit of bleeding has stopped, nothing today.
In total, it can't have been much much more than 1/2 a teaspoon.

Could have been implantation, who knows, but for the moment I am very much still on the bus.

WaitingforStork · 08/09/2011 07:37

How did it go Byrnsie? I really hope you got good news but we're here for you either way. All the signs sounded promising but nature can be cruel like that.

Hopefully you're busy celebrating, or in stunned silence wondering what happens now.

Pipbin Your symptoms sound promising too, glad the bleeding has stopped. How many dpo are you now?

I'm 8dpo and nothing to write home about, still waiting and seeing. Have another spot this morning, most annoying, it seems to be moving around my face, I'm not normally spotty but don't think it's a symptom (not one I've heard of anyway and surely still too early).

Byrnsie30 · 08/09/2011 08:24

Morning all!

Didn't realise I would cause such intrigue! Truth be told I have suprised myself and not tested yet!!! Shock

Apart from my 2 Mc's ( when my cyle was 36 and 34 days respectively) , my normal cycle has been 33 days long at the most, with the last two being 32 days long.

I am now on day 34, if it hasn't turned up by tomorrow I may face a test!

The positive is that I have no AF symptoms, apart from sore boobs! Grin

I think I haven't tested for fear of getting a positive result, only to find a few days later that it's a chem pregnancy! Sad

So I will keep you all in suspense again today - wondering about me might be a good distraction for you all Wink

My secret to patience seems to be keeping very busy. I was out all day yesterday and am off out again today.

Pipbin your symptoms sound promising - fx for you.

Good luck everyone! x

Byrnsie30 · 08/09/2011 08:27

stork I can sympathise with your spot - I am quite a spotty person and also have one that moves around my face!! x

WaitingforStork · 08/09/2011 08:35

Sounds like you're mananging to distract yourself nicely. I'm stuck in boring office with nothing better to do then get my hopes up and think of baby names. Today's favourites are Elizabeth Clare (would be Lizzie when little) and Ross Alexander...

180 · 08/09/2011 15:55

Gosh it's quiet in here! Stork it's awful when you're bored at work.. have you tried the mumsnet name searcher? It's fab!

I must confess that I gave into the urge to poas yesterday, halfway through the day with a superdrug cheapie. BFN. Who knows.

I'm planning one more test first thing tomorrow as I'm off to see friends and wouldn't mind drinking quite a lot a few if I'm not upduffed. I figure at CD29, with a four day early predictor test, first thing in the morning, I should get a pretty accurate result...

Pipbin · 08/09/2011 20:19

Waiting, I'm 14 DPO now.
Two days of bleeding at 10 and 11 DPO and all stopped.

So if there is no AF in the next few days I'm going to test.

FloydieDoydie · 08/09/2011 20:37

Hello ladies - I'm still lurking about with my fingers crossed for you all, hoping for some BFP buddies to join me Smile

Sounds promising Pipbin and Byrnsie! I was (am) dead cranky and spotty, not to mention the bleed I had on CD 25 (not sure when ov'd), so hopefully you could be lucky Grin

x

Pipbin · 08/09/2011 23:01

Oh, I am proper spotty right now too Floydie
When I say bleeding, it was about two days of a teaspoon worth of yuk.

How is everything going with you Floydie?

FloydieDoydie · 08/09/2011 23:10

Well at the time I thought I'd have to get off the bus - had a large clot (sorry -TMI !) but realised next day that there wast much extra blood after the initial heart-stopper of a wipe. I was sure it couldn't be implantation, but must have been!

I'm really good thanks, no sickness just a bit of nausea if my tummy is empty, slightly achy boobs (which are even more massive than usual!), the spots and mild twinngy cramps. I still don't really believe its actually true - never mind that I've had seven (yes, seven) positive tests and no period Grin

I really hope you ladies get upduffed and can join me in my lovely self indulgent whining! Heehee Smile
