Let's face it May 2012 is full of bank holidays leading up to an extra day off thanks to the Queen. We are all bound to get updiffed and miss the time off -(where we should be in the pub) looking after our new babies.

A bus for those who find it difficult to remember new names. Ting ting - no getting off untilk a BFP.

Starting the stats Bleats (31) TTC#1 af due 31st Aug ish

Hi all

Nice to catch up with you all again, especially during the 2ww when there is so much uncertainty and finger crossing!! I have been working away for a few days on a summer camp for young people and adults with physical/learning difficulties. This has managed to keep my mind of things most the time but the down side was the late night parties, unheathy food and drinks from the bar, which is probably not the best practice at this time. Only got until Thursday to wait now and not feeling anything physically different from other times at this point on my cycle. Feeling apprehensive as usual and a mix of excitement and fear! Good luck and best wishes to you all :o

HorseyGirl1 · 28/08/2011 08:24

Glad to see you back, wondered where you were. Trying to keep busy and not think about it too much. Hope it's our turn soon x

Bleats · 28/08/2011 11:24

Hey Spuddy - sounds good.

I am a bit worried -(TMI alert) - I have just had a weird bloody discharge something that never happens to me pre period. Umm I think this is probably a bad sign but I am not crampy or anything like that. Decided not to tell DH but feel proper wubbish Sad

Could it be implant Bleats?

Spuddybean · 28/08/2011 18:25

www.bondara.co.uk/door-sex-swing

And just to let you know i will be pulling that exact expression when i use it!!

Pipbin · 28/08/2011 22:02

Good heavens spuddy!
I don't know that my doors are up to that.
I could just see myself falling arse over tit and looking very undignified getting into that.

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 28/08/2011 22:30

Hi all,

I've been having a busy but enjoyable bank holiday weekend - hope you've all been having a good one too?

Byrnsie I'm also trying not to obsess about any symptoms as most of them I experienced last month too. Being honest with myself, I don't think it's going to be my month - I just keep focusing on the fact that I don't feel in the slightest bit sick whereas with ds I felt nauseous straight from the start but only time will tell I guess...

Welcome back Mersea

Poor Bleats, that does sound very strange, hope you're feeling a bit better now and have not had any other nasty surprises today.

Loving the swing Spuddy - "for the girl who's doors are as well hung as her man" Wink

Byrnsie30 · 29/08/2011 09:48

Hey all,

Just checking in! I mis-calculated days to wait the other day. AF due a week this wed so if I include today and the wednesday I'm due as full days then I still have 10 to wait now!!! Aaah!! Seems like ages! I must keep busy!

I'm like you cats, trying to keep calm and convince myself it's not happening to try to avoid disappointment - not convinced though!!

Good luck to all those experiencing symptoms and testing soon x

Pipbin · 29/08/2011 12:03

Hello ladies have been keeping up with all the gossip (and swi! Grin) but haven't posted in a while as have been in a bit of limbo waiting for af not being pregnant but looks like she is on her way. Which is good news as I have only been off the pill for 4 weeks cd34 which isn't bad! Grin hope soon she arrives in full swing then the swi can begin!!! Hope everyone is doing well and getting lots of action Blush

Bleats · 29/08/2011 21:09

Grab hold of your seats ladies, maybe in shock at Spuddy's wonderful new purchase, the driver has been hit by early AF. Buggerations Sad

Floydie as conductor it is over to you. I will watch over you all sending positive vibes and stealing underwear ideas.

xx

Well me and DP have been at it big stylee... now for the glorious 2ww.. glass of Wine in hand Smile

Spuddybean · 30/08/2011 13:21

Oh no poor bleats!

All early pg symptoms have stopped now so i think it was a false alarm :(

I am just feeling pmt-ish now and i think i'm about to lose my job :( :(

Pipbin · 30/08/2011 13:25

Spuddy Oh no! What makes you think you are losing your job?

HorseyGirl1 · 30/08/2011 13:37

Sorry to Bleats and Spuddy. Same thing happened to me two cycles ago. For some reason was just 25 instead of more normal for me 27 days, the next month was fine and I think this one will be normal too. I think you can 'think' it early if that makes sense. Sorry xx
Hope job is OK, what makes you think it isn't Spuddy? Is your employer in diffs or..? xx

harmonyb23 · 30/08/2011 15:15

Been having spotting today (3dpo) with my CM. Maybe I'm going to have early AF too Sad only CD16 though, don't know what's going on but there is only the slightest flecking of blood??? Any ideas???

Spuddybean · 30/08/2011 15:53

It's a new temp job and i have been given no instructions and no handover. Just basically told to get on with it. My boss just barks orders at me and assumes i understand what they want. When i ask they shout 'you should know this by now'.

It came to a head Friday when they said they thought i wasn't capable of doing the job. I explained the actual work was fine for me but the method of communication wasn't and that i need to be shown how the processes work at least once.

She accepted my point and apologised and said we could give it another week or 2 to see if i 'pick stuff up'. She made out i had lied in the interview and kept saying it was clear i would need a 'LOT of hand holding'. She also said if she was going to use her busy time to train me in the basics from scratch i need to make a commitment and promise not to look for any other perm jobs.

But today she is just as shouty and not helping me at all.

I feel really stressed, upset and bullied but i need the job so i have to put up with comments about how stupid i am in front of the other staff who ignore me and don't help either. In fact the other women in the office purposely didn't give me the handover notes and laugh as i struggle.

Pipbin · 30/08/2011 16:47

I hate that kind of stuff Spuddy.
Some people seem to just set you up to fail in jobs.

Imustbecrazy26 · 30/08/2011 18:17

Sorry to hear your having a hard time at work spuddy!

Well I think af is on her way after a 58 day cycle, thank goodness is all I can say this not knowing was driving me in sane!! Am going to try extra hard next month and tell dp he needs to cut down on the fags and beer if he wants to get a bun in this oven! Sorry ladies just full of pmt I think and I actually thought this baby making would be easy after my dd as she was an accident and I know dp loves her like his own but I know he is desperate for a bundle of joy!!

Pipbin · 31/08/2011 21:25

Anyone still on the bus? It's gone awfully quiet.

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 31/08/2011 22:22

I'm still here pipbin

Just trying to maintain some semblance of sanity now I'm 14 dpo... think I may crack tomorrow and poas, but then part of me doesn't want to know because I think it'll be negative, but then the other part of me really really just wants to know one way or the other...

Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Someone give me a virtual slap please!

Spuddybean · 31/08/2011 22:39

i'm here...just about. Work is long and emotionally draining (trying to second guess my boss and do everything - i got home at 9pm today). DP is working away this week - back sat. I am so tired and am starting to feel pmt symptoms, so not optimistic for pg this month.

I just want DP home to give me a big squeeze. Sorry for being a moaner :(

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 01/09/2011 06:56

Well, I cracked - BFN so I guess my stop will be imminent, doh! (note to self, must become a sex maniac try harder next month!)

Sorry to hear about your work troubles spuddy. It sounds like your boss won't change so I hope you either get another job or, even better, maternity leave in sight soon.
