New thread, hopefully not clashing with another new thread! This Is Our Month, Rat Smackers.

OP posts:
maybebabyR · 11/07/2011 11:01

Bloofer I too am in awe. 4 times in 48 hours. You are my new role model Grin

Everyone is sounding incredibly updiffed these last few days.

meme now you have sold all your baby stuff, you will most definitely be pregnant soon!

I am trying to not POAS. Think I shall see how I go and continue smacking the rat as a precaution!

maybebabyR · 11/07/2011 11:20

Now have blood-tinged CM. CD22 of a normally 35 day cycle. My body is being super special this month Grin

Oh, and Bloofer, chuck us some of that marmite toast over here would you?

thelittlefriend · 11/07/2011 12:36

jagged I cried at the soppy marriage proposals on You've Been Framed too, but didn't think to link it to my obvious pregnancy. Thanks for giving me another symptom to add to the list!

meme I've just started taking evening primrose oil this month. Been told to take it from CD1 til ovulation and that it should improve CM. Is that what you've been told? & what's the aloe vera supposed to do? I'm always up for improving my chances!!

CosmicMouse · 11/07/2011 13:05

This seems like a good place for me, whilst I'm in the Newly TTC & Overly Optimistic phase...

Decided on Saturday (after 2 episodes of "Oops, We Forgot The Condom...Silly Us" the previous 2 nights) and that happened to be Day 20 which, with stupid long cycles such as mine, was jolly good timing!

So now convinced we've timed it perfectly, and shall be suitably Updiffed before the end of July Grin Sorted mate!

NinjaChipmunk · 11/07/2011 13:06

you big soft soppy bunch of up-diffed ladies! The rat smacking commences tonight in the ninja household. Hope my cold has vanished by tonight! Best charge the lady strimmer when I get home or dp might get lost!

maybebabyR · 11/07/2011 13:08

ninja you crack me up Smile

Welcome cosmic this is definitely the place for you!

NinjaChipmunk · 11/07/2011 13:15

maybe its like a forest down there at the moment, tiny rabbits and deer gamboling through the foliage and everything.

maybebabyR · 11/07/2011 13:26

Haha! Sounds picturesque Smile It will obviously be free of rats though, what with them being smacked and everything!

BlooferLady · 11/07/2011 13:30

Now then rat smackers, who's for some Marmite Toast for that awful early-afternoon differ's queasiness Grin ?

I only wish i could claim farting to be a symptom, but having had A Dicky Tummy (that's the technical medical term, people) for 20 years I fear I am a windbag whether duffled or not. Although obviously now that I AM duffled (with twins, I've decided) I anticipate walking around in a constant storm-cloud of methane...

Good luck with the rat-smackage NinjaMinge!

maybebabyR · 11/07/2011 13:36

Yes please Bloofs Smile

I have also decided I am having twins. Every month I try and pass my wind off as a pregnancy symptom. DH used to buy it, don't think he is convinced anymore.

Imps7 · 11/07/2011 13:58

Hello rat smackers.

Well despite definitely being diffed it looks like Imps Jnr will not be putting in an appearance in April 2012 after all. EWCM always always starts between CD 15 and CD 21, with an egg popping anywhere between CD18 and CD24. OH went away with work on Saturday, due to return this coming Saturday. CD 18 is next Monday which would have given us excellent and well-timed rat smacking opportunities over the weekend. However, guess whose EWCM has put in an never-seen-before early appearance on CD 11 this cycle? Yes, that's right, mine. Ov will happen before he gets back on Sat. My body genuinely hates me. Plus, there's loads of it - I'm conscious I'm leaving a snail trail everywhere I go. What a waste!! You can't really put it to any other use, can you?

Well anyway, given that I've been pregnant since January, this just means that my gestation period is 16 months, not 15 as previously thought. I really am a medical marvel.

Ninja maybe a mega bush will actually help - if the rats get caught up in it then it will slow them down and make them easier to smack, surely?? Or is that taking things too literally?

maybebabyR · 11/07/2011 14:03

Imps It seems your body is deciding to copy mine! What is going on? Not that I am going to complain about having shorter cycles, but seriously, do our bodies not know that we have to plan these things to the finest detail?

As for the EWCM, don't need any wallpaper hanging do you?

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 11/07/2011 14:35

Get him to pop some in the post Imps, he could fed-ex it over Grin

panashe · 11/07/2011 15:16

Sorry to interrupt, I'm on the over 40's thread but love reading about you all. Just wanted to say hi to Hiding, I am 5 weeks on friday, had mc in January, but determined to go all the way this time. Goodluck to you Smile

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 11/07/2011 16:41

Hi panashe. Hurrah for us and what shall hence forth be known as '5 week friday' Grin

Do stick around and brook no arguement with us, I think there was some marmite on toast around here somewhere...

I just saw my mum and told her I was pregnant. We haven't told anyone else and I wasn't actually planning on telling her but couldn't help myself. Somehow now I have told someone it feels a bit more real, plus I got a nice hug and you can't get much more reassuring then a hug from your mum. Also cramping has calmed a bit, I bought some new undies and the sun is shining. Ahhh...what a lovely day :)

mememummy · 11/07/2011 17:07

little aloe supposidly starts af? so dont try it lol, am on nearly but not quite day 50 with no af? plently of BFN however I havent done one for three days! lol
SWI going strong poor ratty really bloated today :D cuz i am having a multiple pregnancy obviously

Imps7 · 11/07/2011 17:31

Am LOVING the idea of impregnation by Fed-Ex! And what a lovely name that would make for the resulting bubba! From this moment on, Imps Jnr shall be known as Fedex

Imps7 · 11/07/2011 17:34

Oh, also very much loving the idea of explaining to friends that our new wallpaper has been put up using my cervical mucous Grin Wonder if we'd get fewer visitors?

maybebabyR · 11/07/2011 18:09

I love this thread. Just thought I would share that!

Loving the new baby name Imps Very Beckham Grin

thelittlefriend · 11/07/2011 20:40

Imps that's too funny. With such a bountiful supply you are surely to be updiffed promptly.

Oh god meme if aloe starts af I'm avoiding it like the plague. My cycle went down to 20 days last month, if it gets any lower my darling blastocyst has no chance of implanting. Best of luck to you with it though. I think wearing white trousers with no underwear also starts af?

NinjaChipmunk · 11/07/2011 21:18

well I just cried whilst watching Friends and I don't even particularly like the program. Surely thats a sign of diffedness? Maybe I get to be mega emotional as I've been gestating for 15 months so far so that would be 24 months when ninjababy would be born?

maybebabyR · 11/07/2011 21:55

That's probably the reason Ninja Your poor hormones. You could also be expecting multiple Ninjas.

My bleeding has stopped. Only lasted a few hours. Most odd.

NinjaChipmunk · 11/07/2011 21:56

maybe when is/ was af actually due for you?

maybebabyR · 11/07/2011 22:29

Well, going by my last 4 cycles, not for another 2 weeks! But GP is convinced my pains 12 days ago were ovulation pains. So who knows. I have never bled mid cycle before, but I know some people bleed during ovulation. So if that's the case, then I am ovulating now. Which would only be 2 days later than the norm.

Seriously, you would think that by now, I would understand the female body Smile

Imps7 · 12/07/2011 09:30

Maybe it's so nice to know definitively what one's body is up to isn't it?

Well my snail trail has dried up completely today. Most odd. I am therefore holding on to the hope that I haven't entered the Critical Fertile Phase yet and that there is still hope for me to get even more pregnant than I already am this month. I will put yesterday's CM down to little baby Fedex doing a massive sneeze.

Ninja, crying whilst watching Friends is one of THE most commonly reported symptoms at 15 months gestation, I'm led to believe. You are definitely up the duff, most likely with twins. Well done you!
