I've just fell off the March bus last night and feeling . There is another bus for April but I didn't see any familiar names on it and I know a few old friends fell off the March bus so I thought I'd start my own bus (first one I've really started!)

So I'm handing round the and and sitting at the back 'til AF
buggers off finishes her lovely visit!

So, saw the Doctor today about starting TTC and my history of polycystic ovaries.

Doc thinks there is no need to worry yet at all - he says if I'm not pregnant by the end of the year to go back. He thinks the cramping pain is just my body getting used to it again and the pill coming out of my system.

Said not to let myself be stressed out as that won't help. If I am having problems they will do blood tests etc,. But for now just relax.

So I'm pleased he hasn't immediately thought the cysts would be cause for concern.

Welcome to newbies!! I've been ttc #1 about the same amount of time as you lalabaloo!

cosmicmouse I think we all do the same with the insane symptom spotting - it's hard not to isn't it? I try to convince myself that the symptoms aren't PG, but there's always that little voice, deep down that says "there's always a chance..."

Thanks for the info reallea and I think I will be nervous 'til 12 weeks too - when I eventually get my BFP!

Reckon I'm starting the OV tests as of tomorrow! Although I don't expect a smiley for the first 4-5 days!

Thanks reallea, it's nice to see there is life after the conception boards, gives me hope I might get there someday. Hope everything is going well and you reach your 12 weeks with no probs.

Well ff thinks I ov'd on about cd 10 but graph doesn't look right to me , last month I didn't ov till cd 17 so going to wait and see what happens.

I'm glad to meet someone at the same sort of milestone Byrnsie I thought conceiving number 1 would be simple! How naive of me! We are also due AF (or our BFPs!) around the same time!

Nothing exciting to report from me, CD 11, I did have some brown tinged EWCM today and some cramping but I suspect it is far too early to be optimistically thinking I might ov soon - last cycle was CD27, although things are all over the place (and only cycle 2 after mc)...who can say Anyway the temps will tell me soon enough!

Happy friday everyone - hope you all have better weekends than I will have, DS is (I strongly suspect) just about to go down with chickenpox. He had a raging fever this morning and has been very poorly all day. One of his little friends came down with it 2 weeks ago and we saw him at his most contagious. Given the incubation period I suspect its our turn next...calamine at the ready!

Just took a delivery of internet cheapie OPKs and Conceive Plus. Part of me actually wants AF so will get chance to use them But also dreading, not nec because no BFP - would be a miracle this quickly after starting TTC - but because anything earlier than 20 July will be starting to confirm I have a seriously short luteal phase. Think it was 7 days last month. So if that was correct then AF will be this Sun - and I've got a problem :( (and will have to join the short luteal phase gang and steer cleer of any buses so don't get hopes up!)

I've started charting this month and FF says I have already ovulated, but I have to say i'm not convinced. So going to continue SWI and start using my ovulation sticks on Monday and prove FF wrong! (I hope)

Oooh ... went round for pizza and chick flicks with my heavily pg (37 wks) bezzy mate last night. Feeling super broody today - can tell it's going to be a long wait to see if/when AF arrives. Any on-board entertainment planned to keep me distracted?

You're not old Mersea, at least I hope not! TTC after loss last year, so in a bit of a scary place. I see some names I know from the March thread so thought I'd sneak on for a while. I joined other April thread but I think I'll stay on the 'mini' bus instead, it's easier to remember the names. Hope all OK. xx

Although I am unlikely to be trying this month as I may have lost one last month (although it would have only been a few days). I had an emotional time and af was particularly bad, so need a rest from ttc this month to recoup and recharge. I hope you don't mind me lurking around, as others have said you seem such a friendly bunch. HorseyGirl it is good to see you here and reassuring to see someone else in a similar position. I am also feeling really nervous (I lost one a couple of years ago) and keep wondering if I am doing the right thing by trying again, especially after so long with it being just me and my partner. The pregnancy bit really worries me and I have to keep concentrating on the thought of finally having a lovely baby to hold.

That's what I'm doing too. I'm dreading pregnancy but it has to be done to get what we want xx

Well i think it the start of my 2 week wait am dreading it me and dp have been swi about every other day over the last week, havent done any ovulation sticks but have been keeping an eye on cm so fingers x that ive got it right. How is everyone else doing the thread seems alot quieter then the last one am on the other April thread to but not many familiar names on there!!!

Think i am going to be sympton spotting like mad this month as dp's bday is in April so he would love an April baby even better if it was born on his birthday talk about puting the pressure on

Been away for a while sorting out house moving and end of year madness. Nothing to report, too busy to be symptom spotting and unconvinced that we swi at the right time.

Temping is all over the place, my lovely regular cycle has vanished and I have no clue what's happening. Hoping some relaxing over the summer holiday will sort me out.

Hi crazy26 good to hear from you. I think people might be waiting for the key swi time and that's why it's a bit quiet at the mo (I could be wrong tho!)

I'm currently going into my ov time and expect to get a smiley about Friday. Me and dh started swi Saturday and intend to dtd every other day until Monday-ish!

Good luck with 2ww crazy. My first week will be your second so we can sync up with symptom spotting then x

Can I just say how happy I am to see so many ladies in their 30s also TTC#1. Of course happy to see everyone else too, but I'm sure you understand . Now I just need to see a few of you getting BFPs and I'll be even happier!

I've hit CD 28 today, which is two days longer than my cycle has been for the last two years. But only 8 DPO as ov'd on CD20. POAS this a.m. (couldn't resist as took a delivery of 20 internet cheapies last week!) BFN of course, but at only 8 DPO not really surprising...! So unlikely to be pg (only SWI once this month as DH not been v well, but looks like we timed it bang on the night b4 Ov so is some hope.)

Why does your body start playing around with you just when you least need it to? It's like it does it deliberately just to tease!

I've been trying so hard not to get my hopes up, as its my first cycle - but...

Two days ago I had one lump of pinky/brownish cm about the size of a grape. Having googled it, lots of suggestions that this is caused of implantation bleeding...

I am now trying to remember not to get over excited about this!

The cramps across my front stopped for a few days, but are now back only on the right hand side, both front and back. Again, I'd love to think this is a good sign but I doubt this is.

Not sure when AF would be due (next week maybe as currently on CD 20), but I'm so scared of the disappointment that I actually don't want to test. Ah well, time will tell either way.

Yes, there's always that hopeful build-up of maybe. I have felt sickish before my last two periods and wondered if but it's been nerves each time. Already feeling sickish and it's only about 2 weeks after my period so def know that's exactly what it is. I'm doing OPK this month but we both going for SWI every other day as far as we can. Nothing happening with the OPK so far but hopefully over the next few days. I believe we will all arrive at Mumsville eventually just wish it was sooner rather than later at the mo! xx
