I've just fell off the March bus last night and feeling . There is another bus for April but I didn't see any familiar names on it and I know a few old friends fell off the March bus so I thought I'd start my own bus (first one I've really started!)

So I'm handing round the and and sitting at the back 'til AF

hello can i join?? ttc 3, stopped yasmin pill on sat (midcycle). took 2 years to ttc dd1 then when she was 6 months old we decided to start ttc for number2 as it took so long to catch first time round and caught first time we had sex with dd2!
i had to most appalling pregnancy with dd2- spd- i basically crawled around for 6 months or used crutches!
It has took some convincing of my dh, we live in a 3 bedroom house so he is obsessing about where number 3 will sleep, although my two dds are 3 and 2 and think would settle well in bunkbeds. My dh took over partnership of his solicitors firm last year and we decided to enjoy the financial freedom for a bit (I'm a sahm and it has been a bit tight) before moving to our forever home, but he has been thinking our house is too small to accommodate a baby as well as the rest of us.
So here we are ttc!

Hi all

Good to be on board and have a chance to share thoughts. Just starting to wonder if trying this month is such a good idea I am due to work on a a summer camp with 200 kids for a fortnight in a few weeks time and its not the best time to be trying or falling. Lots of late nights, fairly unhealthy food and generally lots of dancing and a few drinks in the evenings. Not the best environment and feel I should probably leave it this month but every month that goes by I worry that I am running out of time and it could be harder and harder to conceive.

The problem is I do keep going backwards and forwards in my decision to try for a baby, probably fear of losing another one and the complications associated with being an older mum.

Hi everyone. So happy, DH has got a job 10 mins from where I work and it comes with a free house! It is our dream house - in the country, 4 large bedrooms, huge kitchen, lounge, dining room, loads of outside space...... Was getting worried as our house isn't really right for kids and we haven't got enough money to move.

Can't believe it has finally all fallen into place, hopefully we can rent our house out which will cover the mortgage and more and have some spare money to sort debts, savings etc.

So guess we're back on the ttc front and in a better situation all round [hgrin]. Still not sure that we have much hope this month but adding myself to the stats in a symbolic gesture way.

I'm both excited and terrified about being on my first bus. Have kind have thrust ('scuse the pun ) straight into literally TTCing, as the discussion about it occurred on Day 20 of my cycle! I had really long cycles when trying for DD, somewhere between 37-42 usually...and OV'd around Day 21. I was using OPK's and temping that time around. Which I will probably do this time around if this first cycle isn't successful. We've DTD on Day 17, 19, 20 & 21 so far, so you never know!

It'll be really strange if it has worked first time. As it'll be about 2 weeks between deciding and testing! But I'm trying not to get overexcited, and am expecting to have to temp and test for a few months like last time.

good news Liliana, I love it when things fall into place like that and new, better opportunities come from what seems like bad news at the time. I took voluntary redundancy from teaching last year and everyone thought I was mad, but it was a good choice and loads more doors are opening up and I am far happier in myself.

It's a bloody good job we've decided to TTC already. Just had a half hour snuggle with a 7 week old [ovaries explode]

That sounds great Liliana, I've got a partner who works a way too and I am sure it's hampering are success rate (i.e. zero success rate at the moment!) because I can only really dtd a few times a month at the right time.

I have just got a positive OPK this morning - the first one in 2 months as for some reason I might not have ovulated last month. Am hoping I am not too late and have caught the beginning of the surge rather than the end.

hiya can i please join the bus? currently ttc#2 and losing my mind already. I came off microgynon at end of March and not had my period so dont know when I'm due been having cramping nausea and other symptoms but tests still coming back negative got a doc appointment next week due to not having periods. Took 2 years to conceive DD hope its not the same this time round.

Sorry ladies but I think I will hop off the bus and wait for the next one. Been a hard couple of weeks, waiting to see if I was pg, then af was late and thinking I was (as never late) and then af turning up 4 days late and being really disappointed. Plus I am in loads of pain and having a really heavy one (sorry to be so graphic) so may even have conceived, but not sure. Anyway think I need to give myself a month off to recharge and have a bit of fun, it's hard work all this up and down of emotions!! Hope not to see any of you on the May bus

Well I'm feeling very down and aperitif myself today; had cramps for the last two days and have convinced myself it's the cysts coming back . It's my first real cycle since I was 16 so have no idea if this is just normal ovulation pain (which would time about right) or if it is something not right. I hope it's ovulation. Have an appointment at the docs on Wednesday to discuss TTC so hope he can reassure me.

I don't know whether to try and be positive that I can and will get pregnant, or to expect not to so I won't be quite so disappointed if I'm not.

Yikes, if I'm this bad on my first month of TTC, god only knows what I'll be like if I'm sill here in a few months!!

Oh well, upside is I have no time to worry about the2ww - not seeing DH again till the weekend and think I should be ov tomorrow so hoping some little sperm are still asleep and waiting!

Floydie try not to worry too much as it is your first month ttc. It's good that you're going to have a chat with GP though! I thought aperitif was some sort of euphamism!!!

Liliana, so so pleased to hear your news! Sounds like it's all working out like it's meant to be.... I also live in a house provided by DH's work and rent out our tiny flat in london. Good luck in finding some lovely tenants- we have been really lucky with ours... I chose them myself rather than getting an agent to do it so I could make sure I was happy with who we got. But I did use the same referencing company the agency uses. Here's hoping I see you on the antenatal threads soon!

Can someone talk some sense in to me? And point out the reason I feel run down, fell asleep on the sofa, and feel generally manky is because I have a cold. Not because I'm up the duff.

I'm 3DPO (at the most) on my first cycle of TTC#2, and I've already lost my sanity. Lord help me.

First month of charting and using OPKs this month, I want my BFP!

Ooh please can I climb aboard? This is my first post but I've been lurking for a long time. Problems trying TTC for 2-3 years for complicated reasons to do with DP, but this is our first month of really going at it, using CBFM and I'm 2-3DPO right now. I think we've got a slim chance this month, but thought I'd keep my optimism going by joining a 'bus'! Very lovely to meet you all!
