BuddhaBelly · 18/06/2011 18:49

Barbie Only you could end up modelling after a doctors appointment Grin I shall be checking the front cover of Hello and OK regularly from now on Wink I have posted on your other thread, gosh I can't believe how quick things move over there, at least you won't have too much time to stress out (hopefully) Hmm I echo the scared thoughts of our little ones going under Sad so not right Sad How are the wrinkles?? Smile
Moon Lovely image of you in your gown, at least July is next month it could have been worse I suppose, but really want to hurry things along for you
Louey Hope O's jaundice is getting better, and he's still putting on the weight
Vjay Are you sure you can't work your charms on DH Wink
Lbm Hope the cold didn't come to anything
4ever Good luck with the BF weaning, hope the jabs aren't too traumatic for Summer
Gracie Lovely to "see" you. It is frightening how quickly our babies are growing up, Ewan linked his first two words together the other day and sounded so grown up!

Right off to put E down for the night - bring on tantrums, crying and general guilt tripping! No doubt he will be awake at 1.00 am as usual crying, tantruming and generally guilt tripping!! Smile You've gotta love em Smile

barbie1 · 19/06/2011 16:17

The pre op for the surgery tomorrow was horrendous, i cried so much as my gorgeous baby was held down, screaming while bloods were drawn Sad

I'm so terribly nervous about tomorrow, op at 9am. Will try to get back to say all is well in the evening.

Love to all x

bakingqueen · 19/06/2011 16:25

Just a quick pop in to say good luck for dollys operation tomorrow will be thinking of you all

Contractions started here now every 10 minutes excited but painful! X x

VJay · 19/06/2011 16:28

barbie I will be thinking of you and little dolly tomorrow. Just stay as calm as you can for her sake. When I was in hospital with ajay I would hold him when they did his canulas but I would put my face into his hair and softly sing to him, it seemed to calm both me and him Smile xx

VJay · 19/06/2011 16:44

Oooohh bq how exciting, I have no intentions off logging off now the boys can fend for themselves Grin

OP posts:
loueytb3 · 19/06/2011 16:46

barbie I hope it goes well tomorrow - I know its going to be hard seeing Dolly in pain but it will be worth it in the long run if it stops the ear infections and pain. I did Grin at you both getting signed up to model while you were at the hospital - it could only happen to you Grin

BQisinlabour how exciting!!!!! Go baking prince and try to give your mum an easy labour. Can't wait to hear the birth announcement!

Hi vjay Smile

On the way back from a wildlife park as it is not raining (for once). Bloody expensive - £50 for a few hours and we didn't even have to pay for Oscar. Off to register his birth tomorrow. He's still looking quite jaundiced - not sure what they will do about it.

VJay · 19/06/2011 16:55

Hi louey pop O by the window, the sunlight is meant to help Smile

OP posts:
loueytb3 · 19/06/2011 17:03

We have been - problem is we haven't had a lot of sun since he was born Confused.

VJay · 19/06/2011 17:08

No I can see your problem there Confused.

Yay breath and push BQ Grin how exciting, will be lurking!

Aw barbie poor poor Dolly and poor you. Sad Huge hug x

cupcakefairy · 19/06/2011 19:23

Massive hug to barbie will be thinking of you tomorrow. I've cried at all ds's jabs so totally understand your fear :( She'll be fine though, and it will help her so much in the long run.

bq YAAAYYy!!!! I'm so excited! Totally fab if little baking prince arrives with no induction. Can't wait to hear your news!

moon rubbish about having to wait around for results but yes, as you say, great that you already have some idea from the nurse. Any signs of ov yet?

gracie so lovely to hear your update. We'll wait for news of your dc2 then Grin glad mrskate is well too.

4ever good luck with stopping bfing - I'm sure Summer will adapt v quickly.
Bizarrely, I squeezed my (.)(.) the other day just to check (tmi sorry Blush) and drops still come out?! What is that about?? I haven't breastfed for about 2 months now...does it ever dry up completely? ConfusedBlush

louey lush that you all had a family trip out :) but yeah, such a rip off these things aren't they!! Hope the jaundice keeps improving. How's the bfing going? Is there a specialist who can come out to help with latch (only asking cos my mum's pal who is bfing super-genius in our area told us lots of babies get disgnosed with tongue-tie when actually some simple training with positions etc can help the latch...) hope you're not finding it too stressful anyway.

buddha at E linking two words together!!

blue so sorry you had a crap week :( new one starts tomorrow. loads of love to you.

We got ds's first shoes yesterday as he wants to be on his feet all the time outside (not walking unaided yet) he zoomed around our cul-de-sac with his walker and kept tripping over his toes bless him! Grin

VJay · 19/06/2011 19:27

I still get drops too cupcake, I'm glad you mentioned that as I was feeling a bit Confused! and it's been over a year since I stopped bf.

Go BQ!

Barbie thinking of you and Dolly tomorrow.

monkeybumsmum · 19/06/2011 21:15

Barbie Lots of luck tomorrow, I shall be thinking of you and Dolly. I hope it goes smoothly, and that before you know it you're back home spoiling Dolly rotten. Here's my hand to hold for the waiting, it's not much fun Sad Let's hope this heralds the start of a better time for Dolly, where she won't be so poorly. Are they taking her adenoids out too? They did with ds, apparently they don't do much but do help to harbour bacteria, so can encourage infections. DS has had loads less bronchitis since they went. Will be thinking of you tomorrow xxx

BQ Good luck to you too, hope it goes well and is not too painful!

4ever I have to apologise for not having been on sooner to wish you congratulations. What lovely news Smile I really hope everything gets sorted for your treatment... How are you feeling?

Blue sorry to hear about your friend letting you down. That can come as a real blow, especially if it's unexpected Sad Really hope you're okay xxx

Sorry not to have been on before now to say thanks for the support the other day. It's been a complete rollercoaster of a week, and I feel shattered. We did get the paperwork sorted in the end, but then found out I couldn't start the treatment anyway due to hormone levels being wrong. Don't really have the energy to go into it all, but it's not been a good week.

So sorry not to do more personals, but have to go to bed. Love to all xxx

littlebellsmum · 19/06/2011 22:17

BQ GO girl - hopefully by now you are all cuddled up with your pfb or if not will be soon

TheModelFamilybarbie Hope everything goes well tomorrow - twas horrible when BB was in hospital last year, I feel your pain but hopefully it will help in the end

Cold is getting better - did have to go to bed yesterday pm which is unheard on but now feeling much better, thank you for all the concern xx more personals next time

CurlyLikesShortShorts · 19/06/2011 23:04

bq I'm so excited for you. Please keep us posted if you can!!!

moon how are you doing my lovely? Well done for getting through another stage, it sounds very positive :) I hope that after you speak to the consultant, things will move rapidly upwards and onwards from there :)

monkey I'm so sorry you are having such a shit time of it. Those stupid ejits not sorting out the paperwork. It makes me so angry that people can be so incompetent and thoughtless when so much is at stake. I'm with Barbie though, enjoy the summer because you will be upduffed very soon :) I can't wait to see you on the 6th. Me being eternally thick I agreed to go to a bbq that afternoon but I can definitely do brunch or early lunch if that suits everyone?! Big hugs lovely lady. It will get better xxx

OMG barbie are you really up the duff??? That's so wonderful Grin we are officially trying too and hopefully it will happen for us some day soon. big kisses to gorgeous dolly for tomorrow xxx

OMG OMG just realised 4ever is preggers too!!!! I am so excited for you Grin

vj I hope things are getting a little easier. Big hugs lovely lady xxx

lbm I loved the story of your kids chatting and playing the knocking game... so cute :) How is babybelle doing?

louey how is the bf going? I had a total nightmare for about five weeks but curlygirl and I got there in the end. I am very much of the mind that the most important thing is happy mum and baby so don't feel guilty if you end up doing formula. It may be the better solution all round :) It helped me to keep a diary. It's much easier to keep going with bf when you see a gradual improvement :)

blue I can't believe your little boy is going to school in September, I remember him as such a wee little thing in that news item we saw you in :) I got a lump in my throat with you talking about it. Sorry about your stupid friend xxx

cupcake how is work going? lol at jude going on the rampage with his trolley Grin you should get him a mini lawn-mower and he'll cut your grass (mmm ok maybe not good health and safety Grin) he looks adorable in those photos and I think the cake is v professional btw Grin

neeko how's the report writing going? You never seem to get a break Hmm

buddha you took the words right out of my mouth. I'm always creeping back into the greenhouse and feeling very guilty for being away! And you are a wonderful mum. You were just trying to do right by your little one :)

lovely to see my birth partner (sort of Grin) gracie in the greenhouse!

poor curlygirl is teething again and crying out every 40 minutes or so. I wish I could just take her pain for her :(

big waves to anyone I've missed. can someone text if news on bq as I know I won't be able to lurk tomorrow!!

bakingqueen · 19/06/2011 23:17

Thank you all for your messages contrations still 10 mins apart been told not to go in yet so trying to get some sleep before they get more frequent which I hope they do soon so I can meet baby finally!

barbie1 · 20/06/2011 03:02

mOrning, Im soooo scared, but needed to pop on to wish bq luck for today. It will be a breeze Wink

Thanks for all your love, and massive hugs to monkey

loueytb3 · 20/06/2011 09:20

Just popping on to see if there is any news from barbie and BQ. Will be lurking...

bluesatinsash · 20/06/2011 09:32

Barbie - thinking about yourLOADS today. You will be the first face Dolly sees when she wakes up and that in itself will help her recover xxx

BQ - hope your contractions are picking up Smile. They tend to not want you to go in until they are 2-3 mins apart = nippy as hell Grin

Waves to everyone else, quick post from work. Thanks for your kind words re: my pants friend. Life just likes to thow a curve ball eh? xxx

VJay · 20/06/2011 10:02

Thinking of you both bq and barbie

Hi blue and louey Smile and yes blue I agree with the curve balls and life and all that x

OP posts:
bakingqueen · 20/06/2011 11:05

Quick update sent home as only 2 centimetres dilated so upset as in so much pain told not to go in till tomorrow for planned induiction!

VJay · 20/06/2011 11:14

Oh bq that is just so aaarrrggghh! BUT you could still end up with things kicking off big style before then. I would suggest having a bath to help relieve the pain but it can sometimes slow things down xx

OP posts:
cupcakefairy · 20/06/2011 12:33

Ohhh bq really feel for you, but as Vjay says, things could still happen quickly. When I went in on day of induction I was told my cervix was still too high to even feel and my bishops score was rubbish (some scoring system they use to do with position of cervix and baby?) they reckoned the induction could take days but contractions started 4pm, was in delivery suite by 9pm and had baby in my arms at 3am...so if you're already 2cm you're doing so well! Thinking of you loads.

barbie really hope you're ok, thinking of you loads too, hope you have your lovely little Dolly back in your arms by now.

Right, tennis anyone? I'm so excited about getting properly into it this year as no work & no teeny tiny baby.
