4ever and dh thinking about you today too, glad the hospital are letting you come in later. x

blue thoughts for you too lovely

monkey huge waves hope your holiday was heaps of fun.

BuddhaBelly · 01/08/2011 12:25

4ever Wishing the day away quickly for you today, like I said earlier you have the best medicine you could ask for all wrapped up in a "Summer" package, so squeeze her loads later x x x
Blue Hugs
Monkey Hope you had a fab time?
Mermaid How many baths have you had since you've rediscovered running water Wink
Vjay Best get the whip out to ensure DIY is finished Grin
mls Any further forward with speeding things up for K? Oh and trust me toy boys are not all they are cracked up to be, great to begin with but when they have heaps more energy than you it gets really tiring Shock Wink
Cupcake Sounds like a lovely weekend, glad ds liked the sand, E hated it, couldn't stand it on his feet! Wierdo! Grin
Neeko How did the marathon bathing session go?

Amongst the running around for E last week, I had a hopsital appt with Orthopedics about my hip/back/pelvis pain, they diagnosed scoliosis (curvature of the spine) also my joint connecting spine to pelvis is knackered the x rays showed how uneven my pelvis is due to the s-shaped spine, so it was great to finally get a diagnosis but not so great when they said there's not much they can do for it Sad Going to try some new exercises with physio but can't do much for 2 weeks as I had a steriod injection in my hip to help with the inflamed tendons. Felt a little down about it over the weekend, but have decided that I must lose weight to help preserve what i've got and make the most of things that I can do and not sulk. Just wish I could employ a cleaner/ironer and dishwasher to make life a little easier Wink

mermaidspurse · 01/08/2011 13:19

buddha a huge ouch for you that sounds incredibly painful. No wonder you felt down. our poor bodies take a blinking battering. hopefully the physio can offer some good exercises. hope e is a wee bit better and the antibs are kicking in.

4ever sending you out calming hugs.

BuddhaBelly · 01/08/2011 13:34

Mermaid E is much better thanks, he has developed a rash which we think is because Morrisons pharmacy made up his first prescription too strong as it lasted 4 days instead of 5 Shock poor little mite has been through the wars, I'm just trying to tempt him with things to eat (wish I needed tempting) Wink
4ever Along with Mermaids calming hugs I'm sending some hair strokes too x

cupcakefairy · 01/08/2011 19:50

Sorry not to get on before now but had a text from 4ever about an hour ago to say it was all over and she was waiting for dh and Summer to collect her. Apparently the surgery staff were really lovely, and she said thanks for all texts.

Not sure who got that text so thought I'd better repeat it on here :)

blue huge hugs and a little look up to heaven for you today too

and buddha sounds like you need a hug too, hope E has eaten something (hate it when they don't eat!!) and Shock at Morrisons pharmacy!
Sorry they've said not much they can do about your pelvic pain that sucks :(

MummysLittleSunbeams · 01/08/2011 21:04

Glad it went as well as can be expected today 4ever.

Blue hugs to you on your day of reflection today.

Buddha as I said on fb, children have this amazing knack of being able to live on fresh air for days & I so wish I had that knack! Glad he's on the mend. I can't believe that your scoliosis has only just been picked up. Shock Presumably it's not visibly obvious??

Cupcake we are not trying for any more (dh adamant that 2 is enough) but at the same time we are not using anything - having said that, sex is somewhat of a rarity in these parts! Grin

littlebellsmum · 01/08/2011 21:13

So pleased that you should be home now, 4ever. blue hope you had lots of extra hugs from you boys today and MLS, as for what's up with you, your baby is rapidly becoming a toddler and you want your baby back! Especially if DH has said no!! Hope you find some nice names ( and have a good holiday!!)

CurlyLikesShortShorts · 01/08/2011 22:13

Massive hugs to 4ever tonight. I'm hoping you are tucked up in bed and manage to get some sleep. It will be onwards and upwards from here lovely xxx

cupcakefairy · 02/08/2011 08:59

MLS I'm guessing you've seen the baby name stats for 2010? DH and I spent ages examining it, and searching for all the names we like to see where they appeared on the list Grin here is the top 100 but on the stats website you can find all the names from last year too.
We're kind of on the 'not trying to not get pregnant' track too so we'll see Confused

Neeko sorry I forgot to answer yesterday- my special book is this one - it's really fascinating! I'm a big believer in the right diet making a huge difference to so many "women's problems".

Thinking of you today 4ever, hope you didn't wake up with too heavy a weight on your heart. And hope you have chocolate. xxx

bluesatinsash · 03/08/2011 13:08

Finally some time to catch up (lunch@work)

4ever - hope you're physically healing now and I know DH and Summer are giving you lots and lots of tlc xx

Buddha - so glad E is feeling better, what a time you've had of it and Shock at your back problems, really hope you get good physio to help alleviate any pain and help with posture. you have had such a tough time with E's ears and lack of sleep, you should feel proud that you're still functioning let alonw being a fabby Mum. Really, really hope he gets the trestment he needs and his ears get better and his sleep gets better which makes you less tired and helps with your posture and back x

mermaid - forgive me I fogot to say how sorry I was to hear about your spondolitus, it sounds very painful.. are you on anti-inflammatories? On a happier note, hope your enjoying the lovely weather, bet your DS is off from dawn until dusk getting up to lots of Swallows and Amazon type adverntures Envy

Cupcake - so... another derriere on the small pants bench Wink. Read those lists too to check where my boys were Smile. Scottish lists always differe as we have names like Callum, Robbie, Ross, Lewis etc. which never feature in England list. You can't turn round without bumping into a Callum up here Smile. Saw Bridesmaids last week and loved it. Thee is a great scene at the end when they dance ot a well known song and do all the actions literally - had to Grin and Blush that is so me!!

MLS - go Sam T-W but I have to say I'm sure she is going for it at 44 with an army of cleaners, cooks, Anabel Karmel on retainer for new addition. I think the main difference between having a baby at 35 and 45 is tiredness and slebs can afford to offload alot of what causes tiredness where us mere mortals have to rely on Boots No. 7 protect and perfect night serum and a supportive DH Grin. I was mega broody before the holidays but its kinda left me (much to DH's relief although he would never say no). Remember mother nature wants us to keep having babies that's why she makes them so cute.

How are things with Kitty? Glad the Consultant you are seeing is the top dog in this area.

LBM - where are you off to next week? How's BB's swimming coming along?

Vjay - missed the posts about telling Cjay and worrying about Ajay.. Sorry you're going through a worrying time. I know autism is sometimes called exagerated manness as many 'male traits' (lack of communication skills, alphabeticising things, need for routine) have autistic triggers. I'm sure Ajay is just being a typcial boy but you will of course be looking out for anything out of the ordinary, but, then, what is ordinary? All of us are in a spectrum I know some days I can't bare to be around people but other days I'm the chattiest person in the room. Sorry for ramble, just wanted to say you are a fantastic Mum to Cjay and Ajay and they are their own people whatever life throws at them you will cope and they will thrive xx

Louey - great to hear your phone is back and baby O is sleeping a little longer x

Neeko - how did the family baths go? was there a fight over the bubble bath Wink. Know what you mean about money pit houses. Ours is only six years old and is starting to look tired which can only mean $$$

QA - don't feel bad about posting, how many weeks are you now, I've lost track..

Moon hope you're having a well deserved rest this week.

Barbie - have you had your 12-week scan yet?

Curly and Monkey* - are you guys still meeting up at the weekend? Hope you have a lovely time x

Thanks for all your kind wishes re: my EDD, boys were given extra cuddles and I took some time to sit in garden looking at my roses, they always soothe me.

Right, back to work, love to all xx

VJay · 03/08/2011 17:35

Hello Smile

4ever hope you are ok, I've been thinking of you xx

blue you are so right, and ajay said a new word today and his understanding is so much better than Cjays was, ie; go and get your shoes on, and he does. What you said about being the chattiest person one day and wanting to be on your own the next really struck a chord too, that is me to a tee, so glad I'm normal Grin. my health visitor also says we are all on the spectrum at some point too.

Gotta go dinner is ready

4everhopeful · 03/08/2011 18:01

Hello my lovelies.. My last me post before I take a step back to normality and resume long overdue personals!

Just want to say another massively huge thank you for all your wonderful tx and posts on monday, it was so touching to feel so cared about and to know so many of you were thinking of me.. You have been more supportive and there for me much more than any RL friends, sad but true! I owe you all, you're truly saints and Ill always remember this.. X x x x x x

So Monday went smoothly and didn't feel like each minute lasted an hour as with previous times.. DH was fantastic and there til I went in theater and all the nurses and docs were really lovely, many remembered me, and although sad to be there again i absolutely rejoiced in telling them that Id had Summer, and there happiness for me was quite overwhelming .. So, that's what got me through, thinking of my gorgeous girl, knowing her and DH were going to be there to pick me up, and counting my blessings for that.. Smile Physically its the least pain or bleeding I've ever had, so am thankful for that, and so glad its all over with, so now the physical is dealt with I can also move forward emotionally..

BuddhaBelly · 03/08/2011 19:33

4ever You sound so bright my sweet, I'm so glad it has been a slightly easier experience this time round (if that's the right thing to say? Hmm) Summer and your fabulous DH have a lot to answer for too Smile I expect none of your RL friends have been in the same situation as most of us therefore find it hard to know what you are going through unfortunately, but you know we'll always be here x
Vjay So pleased to hear you are worrying a little less about Ajay, sounds as if Dr Blue has been giving out some good advice Wink
Blue Thanks for your kind words Smile Saw on FB you had a teddy trauma today, so glad he turned up safe and sound after his little adventure. Was ds distraught? I must tell you my piece of good news, remember you posted the link for your lovely necklace you had for your 40th? I passed comment at the time that I wanted dh to get it next year for mine so bookmarked it and hinted lots. For Christmas my sister bought my Mum and I Take That tickets from Ticket index so therefore fake Shock so when she had the money refunded I was able to buy what I wanted so I looked at the LilyBelle website and picked a gorgeous bracelet. After it arrived I commented on their FB page how much I liked it and why I'd been bought it, they then commented back and are sending me a different complimentary bracelet too! What lovely kind and generous people they are. And it's all down to you and your original link Smile Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

barbie1 · 04/08/2011 20:16

Hello girls,
Apoligise for not being around, I decided to step back for a week, mainly to let 4ever and hoping to have their time on here. I have been lurking and have texted when appropriate, I hope you all understand.

I have news, well 2 bits to be honest.

I couldn't cancel scan on Monday so drive the long drive to Cornwall into the back of beyond. Was expecting a 5 min scan just to check heart beat, instead we found out that I'm 13weeks!!!! This is weird cos it means the other few scans I have had have been wrong, although I do understand it is hard to measure at such early weeks. So it seems I got my period messed up or ovulated really early....both have been doing my head in thinking how this could of happened, thought maybe something was wrong with the baby and it was growing too fast due to something up. However the guy was lovely and told me that the baby looked older than 12weeks due to characteristics that can only be seen in the 2nd trimester. I have missed my 12 weeks scan and the test that go with it, I was reassured at this scan that everything looked normal but will try to see my lovely doctor in Dubai as soon as we get home.

Other news is that we are moving back to London in 4 weeks!!! Totally shock to say the least, we have so much to do...I'm stressed the the eyeballs and every spare minute is spent googling houses, nurseries and other such things hence not getting on here. Once home on Sunday I will do personals and catch up properly.

I think of you all daily and hope you are all well.

Just felt I needed to explain my absence.

Much love and best wishes to you all xxxx

Neeko · 04/08/2011 21:55

Wow Barbie Fb news on both accounts! Try to take it easy though, eh? Hmm Smile

4ever thinking of you.

Buddha Hope you're feeling ok.

Big waves to everyone else.

Neeko · 04/08/2011 21:55

I meant Fab news Blush

littlebellsmum · 04/08/2011 23:35

great news barbie , I'm sure your family must be so pleased that you are coming home ( rather than going to KL!), although, I think you might miss the lifestyle and weather in dubai

Lovely to hear that your baby is doing so well too.

We are off on holiday again next week - we've kind of split them this time and are off to the Yorkshire dales for a week with Grandma which will be lovely. Kitchen smells great as I have been baking a storm in preparation for not much cooking next week. Plan to let dc's make trifle one night, which could be fun!! Anyway, need to go. Got to do some work - boo hiss. Will make time next week for personals as there is an internet connection - hurrah!!

4ever lovely to hear you so upbeat. Enjoy your lovely family

loueytb3 · 05/08/2011 04:42

OMG barbie what great news on both fronts! I had guessed from your FB announcement that you had had a scan and it was ok. And wow - moving back to the UK too! Whereabouts are you moving? After some of the places it was suggested you might be going to, you must be pleased about this one.

4ever hope you are doing ok xx

Apologies for rubbish personals, seem to have no spare time at all. As soon as I do, will be catching up properly. vjay just wanted to say I know where you are coming from re ajay's development cos we are in a similar situation. The key thing is whether he is trying to communicate, even if he isn't talking much. You could always do the M-CHAT online to see if there are really any red flags.

VJay · 05/08/2011 10:27

Wow barbie that is brilliant news all round Smile

louey what is m chat? sounds like I would like to take a look at that thanks Smile

Hope everyone is ok Smile
