Ive gave up, dont think its meant to be but I still lurk here.

I feel so frustrated for those of you who have the dreaded temp drop. It is so unfair. I do still lurk, always hoping for more good news. I'm 25 wks today and as big as a house! I do feel guilty sometimes that I got lucky and others haven't. Life can be very cruel for no reason. Keep positive and fingers crossed. :)

temp still up,14dpo. Bfn this morning. I'm still not convinced either way.

Thanks for the positivity Mrs. I tend to find the temp drop a helpful warning rather than being terrified every time I wipe...

MrsA really nice to hear from you and so glad it's all going smoothly for you. I was wondering whether you were still lurking...don't feel guilty. Life is what life is and there will always be those that have more and always be those that have less. Enjoy it.

jaggy thanks. Wonder when AF will show up proper. Thought she would show up today foe the way I felt when I woke up, but not so. Could still have another 4 days is spotting before she shows up. So frustrating. I've learned that all this spotting could be down to NK cells in uterine lining. We'll see what the clinic says

scrummy has AF stayed away? how are your temps? Are you sure this is pre-AF spotting?

AuntD I'm so sorry temp dropped again . I'm not sure how long you've been trying but have you been to your gp yet? Or looked into any alternative therapy - reflexology seems to work for a lot of women. I've been very happy with acupuncture and this cycle I used some Chinese herbs which seemed to have helped. I know it's not for everyone but sometimes just doing something different can make you feel better.

Hi all, AF did indeed start as predicted.

I did go to my GP after 6 months and we both had basic tests which showed I was ovulating and my DH's sperm count was good. We are now onto month 11 and not a single sign of a BFP.

I will be on holiday for the rest of August and will have to register with a new GP as we have just moved and will see if we can have further tests.

I am finding this so hard these days. Just seems like everyone I know manages to take their knickers off and get pregnant. It seems so unfair.

Sorry to hear that AuntD I think on month 11 you can legitimately request to be referred to your local fertility clinic. Perhaps they can advise on what assisted conception options would be available to you.

Hello ladies, thought I would pop back, sorry to see you are still here though, feels like Ive been away ages though just a few months.

First of all I stopped charting then decided enough was enough and that I was ready to stop ttc because in all honesty I just didnt want another baby anymore.

Gyn concluded there was nothing wrong and it would just take time but how long?? After 20 months I felt I had given enough time and emotion to it and was glad to be given a clean bill of health and stop by choice. It feels like a weight has been lifted and I am so much happier now so Taking Charge of Your fertility is going up for sale, though wasnt a total waste of money it was interesting to read.

Not much to report here, just waiting for ov in month 11, seems to be a bit later again this cycle for some reason.

I had a month off charting, but am back at it again this month - can't resist yet. :)

digital yup, AF started today - 4 days early! WTF? I guess that just brings next cycle closer. And let's hope it's a one off.

all of a sudden i am apparently 3dpo. not sure myself, think SWI will continue just in case!

sorry didn't explain that well. my temp is still below my usual cover line level, so i still don't feel like I've had a temp rise.

my hormones might be a bit funny though, i was trying cutting down bf to see if it helped, have almost stopped though as DS has kind of lost interest.

ah FF has changed it's mind when i put in EWCM for yesterday.

i will be so annoyed at the waste of SWI effort if this turns out to be an anovulatory cycle or something!

at least a positive ov stick now seems to indicate that an egg will be popping...sometime.

just browsing the Mothercare catalogue as people keep asking me what to get DS for his birthday. can't help going aww at all the cute stuff for wee babies though.

I'm waiting for af, usually takes a day or so after the temp drop.
I'm waiting for DH to come home, he's out with work mates, pre-wedding drinks! But I'm gonna chat to him about everything. His bloods retest still aren't right, very high prolactin which causes low mood, loss of libido and seriously affects his swimmers (hence his rubbish sa results). So I think I've decided we shouldn't ttc until we've got him sorted out. No point in using contraception but not worth actively trying. I'm going to stop charting. I only started to see if I was ovulating and now I'm confident I am. I'll still lurk here and on the brooking thread but won't be actively posting like I was before. I need a bit of time out!

Temps look totally different from all the other months (if you are able to see them from my link....not sure.......generally a bit symptomless apart from massively sore and they feel like rocks which I've never had before. General twingeing on and off in my back, side and belly. Maybe TMI but spotted a tiny wee smudge/streak of brown in my CM which I have also never had before. AF not due till Sunday and I never spot before she's due.
Trying so soooooo hard not to get my hopes up but something feels different this time......my temp normally drops on 11DPO so I guess I'll see what the morning brings!

Sorry for the unloading of the contents of my head but I don't really have anyone to chat to about it and don't want to get DH's hopes up for nothing!

faithbaby enjoy your time out! I had some a while ago and was so relaxed, it was great not having to worry about getting 3 hours of sleep in before taking my temp, not worrying about the 101 things that could affect my temp.....hope to speak to you soon though, keep popping in!

hey, me again. it's not as busy on here as it was! everyone has either got a bfp or tried to tone down our symptom spotting and obsessing after a few too many disappointments.

your temps do look different from what i can see on my wee phone screen. fingers very crossed that it's good news soon for you!

i know what you mean about getting your hopes up and wanting to let the thoughts out. I've had my hopes up quite a few times...

only 2dpo so nothing to get excited about yet here. :-)

Think most of us have either got upduffed or stopped charting! Looks promising fishie....keep us posted.

It has indeed gone very quiet on here! I have a quick question that I've also put on another thread but wondered if any of you might be able to offer some advice?
My temp has come down a little bit this morning but I haven't lost all hope yet, I'll see what tomorrow brings.....
I have never spotted before AF is due but today and yesterday I have noticed a few tiny brown spots in my CM when I wipe and today it has a brownish tinge. AF is not due until Sunday so I'm wondering if she's come early, the evil witch!
Been having some cramping yesterday and today which I don't normally get until AF arrives and my boobs are v.sore and feel enormous and firm and my face is resembling a pizza due to a massive outbreak which I've never had.....

Can anyone offer any advice or do I just wait it out???!!!!

I could really do with a but don't want to risk it! Plus I'm at work and being drunk whilst at work is generally frowned upon
