Morning ladies,

Olis that sounds very encouraging. A line is definately a line, however faint. I did a cb digi today and it says 3+, but the asda cheapie I did yesterday (slight poas obsession Blush) was still pretty faint and unconvincing, but after about 1/2 hour looks better. Keeping fx for your digi being a more positive result for you. Certainly sounds like you have all the symptoms. I know what you mean about ttc for so long. I stupidly kept putting it off for another year and another year etc then started 2 years ago and though it would be so easy.

Will catch up more later in the day.

stitchinline · 25/05/2011 11:23

Morning all

Olis sorry you are feeling all unsettled, totally understand how stressful it can be with faint lines and the am I / aren't I emotions, really hoping for a very BFP for you later this week

melies you are not at all selfish, everone wants their own happy endings - I am sure you'll get yours soon. hope you are relaxing on the 2ww this month.

I go through the same emotions all the time - am constantly whinging to dh that I'm never going to have a baby, managed to dtd last night so hope that helps things along :o

Hi all, I only had a 2 and a half week cycle last month, this month I am spotting pink stuff already and its only day 11 of my cycle! whats going on? this has never happened to me before. Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated x

meliesmummy · 25/05/2011 13:03

ciwi your experience sounds very similar to mine, I had 20 day cycles and weird mid cycle spotting after my mc, my GP was unconcerned and just told me to wait it out and that it can take up to 3 months for things to get back to normal, and he was right, I've since had 2 'normal' periods although my first proper one was exceptionally heavy, I think after all that time and the medical management my body was still trying to hang onto the preganancy lining. I also had 6 sessions of reflexology, I'm not sure is it helped or if it would have happened anyway but it felt good to be doing something productive.

Glad to see you've got going again stitch!

olis it sounds to me as if you are pregnant but that it's so early that you only have a little bit of hcg and some tests are picking it up and some aren't or they are taking a while to react because the amount is so small. I've never heard of that hypervalue brand but maybe they just aren't that sensitive? Superdrug ones are cheap and reputed to be good if there's one near you?

Waves to piglet blackkat and bump!

I'm a little confused...I'm day 17 today (I actually had to look at the list to know that, I'm rather proud of myself! Grin) and I've got what feels like ovulation pains on my left side...which is odd because I've got no cm to speak of, that dried up days ago and it's surely too late in my cycle? Yet way too early for implantation cramps??? Plus I'm sure I had left sided pains last month...Any thoughts?

Bumpwanted · 25/05/2011 13:14

Hi Melies I have no idea about this kind of thing sorry. When do you think you ovulated??

Ciwi again sorry but I have no idea as its never happened to me. Hopefully some of the other ladies on here will be able to assist.

One week until scan day for me. I've been coping ok with the intermittent pains but last night they were back to being really bad. Only once but it was enough to make me feel really fragile in the morning like I had been beaten up and was all jelly legged. I am exhausted with the broken sleep!!

Hi to everyone else. Where's Loup? Feels like we haven't heard from her for ages!

xx

ciwi · 25/05/2011 13:37

Thanks melies, thats reassuring, its been 2 months so hopefully will settle soon. I have started acupucture too for other reasons but maybe i will mention it to my acupuncturist next week.
Maybe your pains could be just random pains? I used to think i got ov pain but once i started with the opk's i realised it didnt match up and that i just sometimes must get random pain! - sorry thats not much help. Fingers crossed this is your month x
Hi everyone else!

laylasmummy09 · 25/05/2011 15:58

hi every one, just got my scan date its 9.6.11 and im not feeling very positive about getting to it, im still getting all sorts of cramps and the nausia i had yesterday has gone the midwife said i can get my horemone levels checked to see if its rising properly if i want to but im having a down day today, we are going to a wedding 5 hours and a ferry away tomorrow and were staying for 2 nights so ofcourse im driving myself mad with worry that ill miscarry there i dont really want to go but its something we had been looking forward to for ages, i just hope i can cheer up soon and relax x

ciwi · 25/05/2011 16:19

Laylas - i can totally relate. I had a hen party in Glasgow to go to when i was 6 weeks last time and I was convinced something was going to happen there. nothing did and I am sure you will be fine. Try and think positive cramps can be very normal and nausea comes and goes x

olismum23 · 25/05/2011 17:33

Hi all got a definite BFP on predictor early result, it is very faint and skinnier a bit like FRER but it came up almost immediately!! Grin

melies i had no ewcm when i did ov but i had it the 3 days before??

laylas I have been getting pains all week i think its a good thing to get cramps in your FT no? try not worry.

Me and DH have already decided to not have an early scan as seeing the heartbeat then not was devastating so we will let my body do its job and hope for the best!

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 25/05/2011 17:40

That's great olis!

Laylas morning sickness comes and goes in my experience. I hope that you are able to enjoy your weekend.

cep · 25/05/2011 18:14

olis congratulations that's great news.

layla symptoms do come and go, and you do tend to get stretching pains. please try not to worry.

mel how are you sweetie?

Blackkat · 25/05/2011 18:44

olis so pleased for you Grin↲mel hope you're ok x x

lily06 · 25/05/2011 19:47

Evening ladies,

Olis that is brilliant news!

Mel I think you can ov from either side every month, ie it doesn't have to be left one month then right the next. I always get ov pains, and often pain a few days after, but never noticed any real change in cm, so it could well be ov pain that you're feeling.

Bump sorry your pains have been bad again. Hope you are otherwise ok.

Blackkat how are things with you?

Laylas I hope you have a lovely time away, the break might be just what you need and take your mind off things.

Cep how's things going?

Ciwi I think pretty much anything goes for the first couple of cycles, frustrating isn't it.

olismum23 · 25/05/2011 20:01

Right im going to be brave and add myself to the list!

Well done on the move olis!

Okay...more me me me here...why on day 18, only 9 days after my last af stopped, nearly 4 months after a mc and after a textbook cycle have I got brown pre af style cm???!!! I thought I was fixed! Sad Back to the gp then if this carries on over the next few days. Arrrrrr!

Waves and good morning to everyone x

ciwi · 26/05/2011 09:30

Melies - I have just got that on day 11! thought it was another AF as I am still all over the shop after my mc but now seems it was just spotting. I have read it can be stress related or ov related. Have you ov'd yet this month? As its old stuff don't think its anything to worry about but a trip to the GP can't hurt x
Hi to everyone else x

meliesmummy · 26/05/2011 09:53

ciwi I'm not tracking this month but I think I probably ov'd over the weekend judging by my cm. I'll see how it goes today and tomorrow and if I start properly bleeding go to the gp. I've ummm...tmi alert...felt my cervix (no Cep dont tell me off but it is the only time this month I promise and I'm confused!) and the cm (whispers) up there is creamy, not brown at all so I'm hoping it's a one off....please be a one off!

melies that's very confusing for you, your body just doesn't seem to want to behave itself at all, hope the GP can help if it does come to that

olis yay for moving on the list, totally get you on the scan wait as I did find it so devastating to see a hb one day and then nothing the next

laylas I'm sure you'll enjoy it once you get there but I understand it is stressful going away at times like this especially as unfortunately we know what can happen. I'm sure you will be fine, it is still quite early and cramps are normal and other symptons come and go - not everyone gets ms

waves to ciwi, googie and all the lovely grads. hope all is well

dh wants to book a holiday in August which I am quite keen to go on, however it is to somewhere I definitely wouldn't want to mc so I can't make up my mind if we should book or not, sods law is that if we book i'll get updiffed and we won't be able to go or if we don't book dh will get shirty as there is no reason we couldn't go Confused

stitchinline · 26/05/2011 09:55

x-post melies that sounds promising :)

Loup23 · 26/05/2011 10:16

Hi All, haven't been around for the last week or so just trying to catch up but popping in to put myself at bottom of the list Sad AF has been so light but on and off for a week now so have no idea what's going on - I had to rearrange my appt from last week so will see what the dr says.

olis fab to see you on the BFP huge congratulations, hoping you have an easy 9 months.

melies hope the brown spotting stops, I always bleed on the two days following O, maybe the dr will tell me a bit about that but I know O can cause bleeding.

hi to bump sorry to hear you still have pains but Fx for your scan next week, great you're in the 7+week!

Tested this morning BFN :( i cant do this anymore i am actually suicidal, yesterday i told my folks because i was so sure today absolutely nothing on 2 tests! I really love everyone here and i may lurk but I am done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OP posts:
Loup23 · 26/05/2011 10:32

oh olis so sorry, have you been using the same tests? I really hope it isn't a BFN for you..... massive hugs for you please pop in to let us know you're ok x

CollieandPup · 26/05/2011 11:11

olis I am really sorry sweet. What tests did you use this AM? Was it the same as your bfp last night or your cheapies? If its your cheapies it still might not be over. Keep strong darling. I know this journey has been so long and hard for you. I know this will be very hard, but stop testing, just for a couple of days. Give yourself a break from the worry and your if you are pg your hcg levels time to rise enough to give you a clearer answer. I?m sorry hun, I?m keeping everything crossed its just your cheapies playing up!

mels I really don?t want to raise any hopes, especially as your cycles have been all over the place. BUT, if you think you should have already ov?d, could the ov pains and brown cm possibly be implantation?? I really dare say it, as I want it to be so much but hate seeing people fall when its not. But could it be? I had ov pains that started about a week after my ov, and about a week before I got my faintest bfp line. I didn?t have brown blood/cm, but I do know its common. I am literally crossing everything for you.

stich is this a place you wouldn?t want to go to pg or just be if you mc? I think if you wouldn?t want to be there pg, then it would be a risk to book it. If its just a fear of having a mc there, then that?s more complicated. My gut would say that you should book it as you can go and enjoy it pg or not pg. The fear of mc is very real, but I also think we should try and have a positive outlook. The chances of you mc next time are only 1 in 4 (easy to say I know) and the chances of it actually happening while you are away are even slimmer. But I did also say its complicated as its very easy for me to say that, detached from the emotions and fear of it happening. ?but I think book it, you deserve it! Smile

loup sorry about AF

bump sorry you?re still having pains but glad they have eased. Good luck fornyour scan next week. And you too laylas

. hope your are hope ok? cep you?ve been very quiet hope all is going well? blackkat what about you? And how is your dad?

stitchinline · 26/05/2011 11:12
