IQ I'm terrible at staying hydrated too (even though I'm still breastfeeding!) always have been. WHenever I make a concerted effort to drink more, yup, I seem to pee every half hour.
eve We all have those massive ding-dongs now and then, that when you think 'what was that all about?!' it's not entirely clear. What with our losses(and haywire hormones), ttc, other littlies, and life in general it's no surprise that either one or both partners end up flipping out! Hope things are on a more even keel now.
pie I think you did the right thing in sharin with your friend. She probably feels a bit, y'know, that she has been making inappropriate enquiries. Anyway, more support can only be A Good Thing!
Good to see missG back, Journey home sounds UGH! but like the preceeding days made it worth it
I personally am not a huge fan of It in the shower as I never reach my happy ending in there, iykwim?
But somewhere different is still fun and when ttc it's all too easy to get lost in the functionality of what we're doing and not actually enjoy it!
summer you did make me smile with your 1dpo symtom mentalling! But, hey, here's hoping you actually DO have something to mental over come the end of the tww
whatso You have given me a mental image of you SWI'ing with crossed fingers, which is quite funny
poppy don't be sorry for a 'down' post - it's what we're here for. And, as you should have gathered by now from virtually ALL of us postin something similar at some point, it's very very NORMAL. Hope you're feeling a bit brighter now?
shimmery If your cycle is a regular 28 day cycle then you've pretty much covered all your bases. DO you ever get any fertile signs to indicate when you O?
marathon Great news on the conception indicator moving up a notch... now, when are you contacting the gp in order to get an early scan at the epu? I know Im assuming here, that you'd want one, so actually, I guess I'll modify that comment to are you goin to ask the gp to refer you to the epu?
Oh, speaking of which, IQ first, you're probably already aware, but your scan at 6 weeks will be via DildoCam ie an internal vaginal scan. And secondly, don't be too horrified if they don't see too much. A few days at this stage can mean all the difference between seeing a heartbeat and not. I mean, if you don't see it, it doesn't mean that you're out, y'know? Does the place offer a free rescan if it's a little too early?
As for me, I'm off to the gp this morning. Combo of wanting my thyroid testing (a few things have made me wonder over the last 3 & 1/2 months - much lower than usual bbt, 3 kilos put on even though nothing has changed about my diet/lifestyle, memory/motivation shot to heck, and weirdly I seem to be feeling pain more - I have a high pain threshhold usually and lately I seem to be saying 'aww, ouch!' all the time) and getting her to check what appears to be a blocked duct in my right boob. Oh, the glamour.
But this afternoon, DP is taking DS2 whilst I take DD and DS1 to the cinema to see HARRY POTTER! I can't deny I'm a little bit excited.
