There's only one question on my mind: Am I pregnant? Did it happen this time? But no-one can tell me! Am only 5dpo so def no way of telling. Sitting symptom spotting and troughing down mini eggs thinking, could be pg/likely to be pms. Not even like I expect anyone to be able to give any advice or look into crystal balls...just wanted to say on here, I find it quite annoying. Roll on next week...

Me too and I'm not even at 5dpo lol Grin

Bexamundo · 15/04/2011 23:08

Nice to know I'm not the only one!

My annoying thing: irregular periods so I don't actually know when I can test anyway. My cycles are between 30 and 44 days, which basically means two whole extra potential weeks of waiting after the initial 2ww. No matter how often I tell myself just to wait till 44 days and test then, from day 30 onwards it is a constant struggle not to test every morning.

DizzyKipper · 16/04/2011 11:00

Same here, hi girls [friendly wave]. Think today is day 5 post ovulation for me too (but not precisely sure when it was either). Took an ultra test this morning, came back neg - was mostly expecting, implantation would probably not have occurred yet even if I was pregnant! Period not due 'til 25th, the wait will seem like forever. What day are you expecting AH?

PatientGriselda · 16/04/2011 11:47

No idea! Any time between last Saturday and next Saturday. In the meantime I am firmly turning my mind away from fond fantasies of bfps and trying not to prod my boobs too much.

DizzyKipper · 16/04/2011 11:52

My partner just vetoed us buying a few baby grows whilst out, not that I'm getting ahead of myself or anything...
A BFN will be very heartbreaking.

Bexamundo · 17/04/2011 15:12

I'm not even allowed to look at baby stuff in shops....was looking at the Next catalogue and got mushy at the newborn stuff! DH reckons it's not happened this cycle (6 days to go!) but I'm still holding out some hope!

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 17/04/2011 16:15

Fingers crossed that your DH is right then, Bex.

Am now 6 days short of the longest my cycle has recently been, so am going to try to get at least halfway there before testing.

Bexamundo · 17/04/2011 18:45

Sorry to hear you're all over the shop, must be SO hard not to spend a fortune on FR tests and try all the time! Promised DH I won't POAS early. AF due Friday so guess I will leave it til next Saturday if the evil witch doesn't arrive. Always had a notion I'd get my first BFP on a Saturday for some reason.
Adding to symptom spotting, my boobs feel tender but different to normal pms tender....weirdness. Probably nothing but hey ho!

I think it is especially cruel that all the symptoms of very early pregnancy are pretty much identical to symptoms of impending period.

Good luck everyone.

DizzyKipper · 17/04/2011 19:45

My partner was nice enough to humour me whilst I took us around mothercare - only window shopping mind you. He's into it as well though - looking online to find all the geeky/computer baby grows he wants to dress out child up in. Wink
AF due next Monday, POAS yesterday but negative although I know it's still really early and according to the average wouldn't even have implanted yet. Going to POAS on Saturday - hopefully it'll be a good day for both of us bex.

Ventoux · 17/04/2011 20:18

Yep, very annoying. I am sitting at about 4dpo and I too am sitting symptom spotting. I have felt very slightly nauseous yesterday and today which has been eased by eating something - in the rational part of my brain I know it is just usual post OV nausea, I mean implantation wouldnt even have occurred. I am also focussing on every little twinge in my uterus region and every little bit of tenderness/tingling in my boobs - PITA.

Hope you all get through your 2WW's without two much frustration and heartache and good luck for some BFPs

Bexamundo · 17/04/2011 22:09

My boobs ate growing (by the minute) and I feel vvv nauseous. Had this all before with bfns though...:(

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 18/04/2011 15:49

I had fractionally twingey nipples on the shower this morning. Nothing to do with the fact that it was a cold room and hot water and accidental overwnthusiasm with the flannel, of course. I just wish I could turn my mind off from thinking about it at every little potential twinge.

PatientGriselda · 18/04/2011 15:50

In the shower. Not on it. Which somehow sounds rude. Though I'm not sure why.

Bexamundo · 18/04/2011 18:00

ha ha laughing out loud at the nipples on the shower! I remain mega nauseous.

OP posts:
DizzyKipper · 18/04/2011 18:30

hehe and I of course would never notice anything in such keen detail Wink Will you be testing on Sat as well PatientGriselda?

Anyone lost restraint and tested yet? I keep trying to rationalise why it's ok for me to test before Sat (which in itself is 2-5 days before expected AF), especially since the nausea feeling I had on Sat has subsided a bit Sad

PatientGriselda · 18/04/2011 19:30

If I had a test I would be doing it tomorrow, dizzy, but wretched DP dragged me past the relevant aisle in the supermarket, so of course I had to pretend to be all sensible and not really bothered that THERE ISN'T A TEST IN THE HOUSE.

Is it mad that I am actually jealous of you both for having nausea? (yes)

Bexamundo · 18/04/2011 19:54

It eased off when I had a rennie! :s

OP posts:
PatientGriselda · 18/04/2011 20:25

Much like my extreme tiredness last night. I was quite excited till I realised it was 11.30pm. Oddly enough, after a good night's sleep, that's another symptom which has mysteriously vanished :D

DizzyKipper · 18/04/2011 21:10

I have 9 ultra tests in the house, it would be so easy to do another test - but so pointless at the same time! I just keep thinking "maybe it's implanted and will show by now"...
Hearing some one else talk about my nausea kinda makes me feel like it's been bigged up a bit, that and I have GERD - so getting nausea/reaching isn't actually all that unusual for me. I still feel better knowing it's there though :s

PatientGriselda · 18/04/2011 21:19

What's GERD? Sorry to hear about it, as it involves sickness :(

fusam · 18/04/2011 21:27

Right there with you, have sore boobs but am pretty sure it's from constantly checking them over the last week. Tested today (negative) even though I'm not due until Sunday Hmm. Need to put the last unused test somewhere safe because I know I will just get up tomorrow morning and use it.

Bexamundo · 18/04/2011 21:29

Gastro oesphageal reflux disease?
I have Ibs so nausea/bloating is normal for me. Keep telling myself it's different this month. Not usually this nauseous for this long, even with Ibs. I'm also not very bloated...aargh there's a FR sitting in the cupboard. I will not break!

OP posts:
DizzyKipper · 18/04/2011 21:45

Yeah that's the one, had an endoscopy (from top end!) and they determined the little flap infront of my stomach doesn't close properly - sometimes get sicky feelings (or actual sick) because of it.

Whenever I want to do another test I keep trying to tell myself it will be a lot better waiting and giving the hCG time to build up - no point testing when you'd be likely to get a false negaitive anyway. But it is difficult to resist though. Have just moved test date up to Friday though as future MIL wants me and OH to go out to a pub with her - well it gives me a valid excuse to test earlier anyway Wink
