porpentine your experience sounds remarkably similar to mine. I think it's just our screwed hormones! It might be worth you doing a pg test just to be on the safeside though.

It's nice to hear that reflexology works blackkat, I intend to carry on with it too.

OP posts:
Blackkat · 31/03/2011 14:27

porp didn't mean to worry you, sorry if I did - if you've had AF since m/c then this sounds like what Mel says and it's hormones. Good that you've got an appt with the GP to check. If you had ERPC then a follow on scan is not routine, depends on your GP/hospital - try not to worry. Smile

Collie2 · 31/03/2011 14:34

Hi all. I've just turned up for a meeting and the blokes off sick (nice of someone to tell me) so I'm sat in the car catching up before I go back to work Grin

lots of chatter so lots to catch up on, so sorry if I miss anything.

bump your blokes a nutter! Smile very strange sense of humour but at least your agreed on the way forward! Do you think he was 'testing the water'?

mels your reflexology sounds good. How could he feel your bumps? blackkat how could you feel them? I'm very intrigued!! mels don't know what to say about your cycle, what a nightmare. I think as you say, best thing to do would be to start peeing on an opk as soon as the bleeding stops and maybe start dtd soon after... Just incase?

mumtum poor you being sick already, although I only feel a little bit sorry for you as I am v Envy of your symptoms!

porpentine sorry your having an awful time with your cycle too. I'm afriad I don't have much advice other than what's already been said, but you're right it is just a hiddeous and traumatic thing you're going through, and I'm dorry for you. X

I really need to sort myself out I just can't stop worrying about my lack of symptoms and my pains- which are back. Different try of cramp, mist worse. A bit last night and woke up to it this morning... And a significant temp dip..... I know WHY am I still taking my temps??????

Sorry for mentalling on here, i just feel settled freaking out talking to you ladies.

Collie2 · 31/03/2011 14:36

Sorry for typos, hard work on phone!

juicee · 31/03/2011 14:37

Hiya ladies
You have all been busy here today, Mel i'm as confused as the others re your bleeding, nothing worse than not having answers.
mumtum: hehe i agree i think you maybe expected 2 little beans, i hope so too how fantastic will that be, i hope ms calms down a bit and don't get any worse. bump defo tell your partner how he made you feel, i know it's no excuse but it may just be his way of hiding his fears. Porp: i can't offer you any advice myself but welcome to the forum, i'm sure someone may be able to help and if not, we are all good sounding boards. Hello everyone else and hope you all ok. I need a little advice, and maybe a shoulder cry on. :( Right here goes the confession!! I gave up smoking when i was pregnant, then when i miscarried i was so upset brought a pack of cigs, never smoked that many only 3-5 a day, anyway when the bleeding stopped i decided to give up again, as were going to try for another baby straight away, today i had an arguement with dp, and got so upset the first thing i did when he walked out the door and went to work, without saying goodbye:( was go and have a cigarette, now i am feeling mega guilty and this is making me want another one. I also feel like i have let myself down as what if we got lucky when i ovulated, and i have just ruined any chance of a healthy pregnancy :(.
Sorry for my little rant, i dunno what to do.

Blackkat · 31/03/2011 14:39

collie (((hugs))) step away from the thermometer, seriously, your temps could be to do with anything, interrupted sleep, sniffles, changes in the weather! About the symptoms, remember ms etc might not kick in till about week 8.
And the pains, everythings shifting, as bean snuggles in and starts to grow, really hope you get a quiet weekend and do hope Monday brings you some ease to all this mentalling freakingout erm worrying.

and the bumps, when she showed me where to rub, I could feel under the skin resistance almost like bubble wrap, incredible - not there anymore!

meliesmummy · 31/03/2011 14:47

collie, apparently it feels like grains of salt in my heel?! But he cleared them for me! Sounds mad doesn't it?! Maybe you temp just fell because it was colder last night? Well it was here anyway! You are still in early days yet, plenty of time for symptoms to start, and your hormones must be going up because you got a 3+ on the digi. I know you feel paranoid and I'll bd exactly the same when I get my bfp I'm sure!

juicee I wouldn't worry, we all fo things we shouldn't I'm sure and lots of women get pg accidentally whilst they smoke so don't panic x

OP posts:
Collie2 · 31/03/2011 14:48

oh juicee poor you. I don't know the detail on the risk of smoking regarding mc and fertility, but I am sure a few after your mc and 1 or 2 today will have done no harm. I'm not a smoker so don't want to be condesending and preech at you, but my mum was a smoker for over 20 years so I know how hard it is to stop. If you can find the will, try not yo have that other one while you are upset, as from watching my mum try to quit, it was the earjy days that were the hardest. Don't to too hard on yourself, I drank A LOT straight after my mc. I though I deserved it!

Collie2 · 31/03/2011 14:57

Thanks ladies you're lovely. I know I just need to relax, it's probably all normal and that I'm being a neurotic moron silly billy

blackkat mels I think it sounds faciniating!

Reallyusefulengine · 31/03/2011 15:37

Juicee Don't beat yourself up, I doubt 1 today did any harm today (apart from doing your head in). Can you throw the rest of the packet away? I started smoking again after miscarriage 3 weeks ago and know it is a temporary but effective comfort. I want to stop, like you did after the bleeding stops. So sorry you had an argument this morning - not a good time to be feeling extra distress.

Melie Thank you for explaining the situation. My gosh, no wonder you are confused. Fingers crossed the reflexology helped today, it sounds promising that they diagnosed a problem and then sorted it out! And, it helped Blakkat get her bfp and I swear it helped conceive DD after after over a year of trying.

Colllie I hope you can stop worrying so much, thinking of you.

Porp Hello and welcome, am sorry for your loss. I am still having original mc bleed so I don't have any wisdom to impart.

And waves at everyone else!

Loup23 · 31/03/2011 16:26

good luck with the GP porp let us know how you get on.

Glad you're getting things sorted with DH bump although tell him to work on his sense of humour, men!

I haven't been doing OPKs but my CBFM has shown high for two days so hoping a peak is round the corner and we can do lots of SWI (am sure DH hoping too for totally different reasons!)

harassedinherpants · 31/03/2011 16:27

Hello, more apologies from me for not being around. A combination of being very busy and feeling like crap!!! Poor dh, he really must be sick of me in tears and/or miserable by now. He never moans though........

On a positive note, sort of, I got a bfn this morning so the epu have discharged me. Would have been nice if they could have got my notes right though, as they have me down as having medical managment this time!! Seeing the doc next Thursday to go through my blood tests, so that will be interesting. I felt they only did them to fob me off tbh.

Blackkat and Mumtum - huge huge congratulations from me!! So pleased for you both. Scary time though, try not to stress too much.

Collie stop worrying lovely, everyone & every prg is different. PMA!!

Mels glad the reflexology was good, sounds very positive. I agree with Collie that you should start opk poas, I hope you've got lots!! I thought I might do the same now I've stopped bleeding and got a bfn.

to everyone else, will catch up properly when dh is out later and I have some peace and quiet!!

cep · 31/03/2011 17:11

wow i've missed loads over the last few hours.

bump serious sense of humour failure. how would anyone find that funny. like someone said (sorry can't remember who) could he have been testing the waters and is now backtracking quickly?

rue basically the dh decided last july we had until my next birthday to get pg, then he spent 2 months not filling his part of the bargain if you get my meaning so i put the date back to sept.

collie i have no idea what my temps are now, i think i took them once since bfp. (i'm sorry i may be being dumb but i couldn't figure out what the mist was meant to be) i'm sorry you're worrying. I was getting aches in my stomach till about 6-7 weeks. not nice.

juicee i wouldn't worry about the odd ciggie. i knew someone who was advised that to give up would have been more detrimental due to the stress. having 1 isn't going to cause damage.

hihp glad you've been discharged. Hoping everything goes well with the blood tests.

mel i hope the reflexology starts doing something to help.

sorry if i've missed anyone.

Chloe55 · 31/03/2011 18:16

Hiya ladies,

I am so sorry, is gonna have to be a quick one again as just got home and got loads to do before dh walks through the door.

Just had to say WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! For blackkat Grin and both you and mumtum have no need to apologise for either me me me posts or fearing upsetting some of us with your BFPs. Of course, we all get a tinge of Envy when we see them and if we are having a low day then it might make us feel Sad it's not us but if ever we were allowed a me me me post it's when we get a BFP Smile

For those of you who asked my gp appointment is on Monday, I am working at the vets for the next week (they have asked me for another 2 weeks on top but I have said I will think about it, don't think it's a good idea when I start taking Clomid again considering it takes me down for a few days) andyway, all going well so far. No more bleeding, few achey pains that's it to report. Can't wait til monday when I can have a proper catch up and name check everone!

MumTumWanted · 31/03/2011 19:35

welcome porp sorry that you find yourself here and that your cycle seems still wtf. Cannt say that i had the same or offer any advice really but i think a visit to your GP should help at least then you will feel like you are doing something pro active. The worst bit IMO is not knowing and feeling so out of control IYSWIM?

bump im much like you prefer to out things into words rather than snivel away incoherently as i tend too with snot and tears ..... glad that your OH had only meant it as a joke but i have to say that is an odd sense of humour Confused

porp not sure about the 3 cycles thing, i know that for me i think realistically i has 2.....

collie FX for a good scan for you on Monday hun x

cep will be thinking of you next tues when you go for your scan to x

melies bump blackkat [scared emoticon] twins are very prominent in my famaily, cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents are all sets of twins they dont seem to skip a generation in my family like i was led to beleive, and as ive just turned 33 apparantly the chances of having twins when your over 30 significantly increases ..... OMG .... but on the flip side my first pregnancy i found very early and had symptoms early , and that was only one bean, and the second one which i mc, i found out at 10 DPO and again that was an early test as i was already then suffering with ms and heartburn... so maybe not......im so Confused can you beleive im also freaking out that much that i thought i might not be earlier.... despite the tiredness and sick already i convinced myself i must just be poorly..... have 1 more cb digi upstairs but wanted to try to wait to use it until at least next week when my af was due in the hope that it goes up to 2-3 weeks,,,,,, i really should i think go investgate the freak out room.... sorry for the me me me .....

hope everyone is having a good evening here is plenty of Wine Wine Wine for those that can and [brew[ Brew Brew for those that cant....

MumTumWanted · 31/03/2011 19:37

x posts , thanks chloe glad the bleeding seems to have subsided for you fx your gp appointment goes well for you x

Ninunina · 31/03/2011 20:14

Good evening ladies, I haven't posted on the new thread yet, but have been occasionally lurking. Just popped in to say a huge congratulations to Mumtum and Blackkat :o :o :o :o

I'm so pleased for you both...Blackkat because I know it took you so long to conceive last time round mumtum because I know this was your last month trying before the wedding. Looks like you'll have a honeymoon baby after all (quite literally).

Mumtum, come and join us in the Freak out thread...you already know lots of us there, and the other ladies are so lovely.

Blackkat so glad you joined us already.

Melies & Chloe fx that you'll be joining us v soon (and everyone else)

Has anyone heard from Olismum? I wonder how she's doing.

meliesmummy · 31/03/2011 20:47

Sorry mumtum I didn't mean to scare you with the twins thing...it seems as if your hormone levels just rise quickly!

Hi harassed, I hope you are managing to take it easy.

Good luck with the swi loup!

Hi ninu, it's nice to see you. olis has moved to the clearblue fm thread.

Glad the bleedings settled Chloe, good luck with the gp.

How are you tonight collie?

Hope the rest of you are having a good evening, dh is making us watch diy SOS. Not my idea of a fun evening! I've had a lovely bath though, still having cramps but no proper bleeding. Sigh.

OP posts:
olismum23 · 31/03/2011 22:27

Hi all,
Still lurking could not get to grips with the monitor thing keep forgetting to pee on the sticks :)
Thanks for asking after me Ninu hows the pg going all well i hope!
Huge congrats to mumtum and blackkat!!!! AMAZING NEWS!

I would like to rejoin the thread if you will have me feel in a better place now, Diet is not going to plan but i don't care lol, feel a lot more relaxed about trying now DTD every night untill the 4th this is supposed to be my fertile period according to my ovulation calculator so i will give it a go!

Minnie74 · 31/03/2011 22:49

to everyone
Just popping in after long day at work.

Whoop whoop blackkat that's fantastic news! All the bfp's on here make me feel a bit more positive that it could happen for me again too Smile

mel the reflexology sounds really interesting. I had it once before just for relaxation and it was great. Wouldn't mind trying it again if it might help a bit. (Think I would need to see a chiropodist first as my feet are like sandpaper-as my dp tells me on a regular basis Blush)

meliesmummy · 01/04/2011 09:10

Hi olis, it's lovely to hear from you and you are always welcome here. Enjoy your swi!

Minnie my feet aren't in the best condition either, but if he noticed he didn't mention it!

Nothing new here, same old cramps and occasional brown sludge. Bored of it now! I'll just have to go with what the opks tell me as I have no idea what day I am! (3, 10 or 28??!!)

OP posts:
harassedinherpants · 01/04/2011 09:19

Morning!

Mel I watch Diy sos too and sobbed!! Mind you any excuse at the moment, and not actually sure it was the tv making me sob! I'm just trying to carry on as normal this time, all the bleeding stopped over the weekend so physically I'm fine. I had 2 days off last week, Wed was my day off anyway and took Thurs too as that was the nasty day and couldn't have coped at work! Have you been checked for an infection?? Have they taken swabs? My gp did that after my mmc when I was having pains, and gave me ab's.

Olis my diet isn't going well either!!! Is it one of the CB monitors you have? I was looking at them but thought I wouldn't use it tbh. Nice to see you back.

Minnie was thinking the same about my feet this morning! Need sorting before I get the flip flops out...

Really looking forward to the weekend although we don't have any plans. Dh might be working tomorrow, but hoping not!! Will be moving in a couple of months, so gradually working through the house sorting and packing.

meliesmummy · 01/04/2011 09:36

He didn't send swabs harassed, he just said it was hormonal.
