It's kind of good knowing I don't have to go through the stress of testing this month, mind you I will probably just POAS anyway because of desperate hope that a miracle happened - better make sure only the cheapies are on hand

Sorry you are here dairy but hopefully it's not for long

olis know how you feel about the 20 weeks, i would have been 22 the other day with the first MC and 9 with the CP, trying not to think about it too much or I really get down

tokyo hope you get what you need from the GP

melies pleased this AF is a bit more normal for you, I don't think I coudl do the mooncup, never been able to use a tampon so don't think it's for me

wave to everyone else and hoep you are all as well as can be :o

olismum23 · 12/05/2011 15:26

Ok I need advice got a positive opk today but that means my lutal phase is minimum 6 days long maximum 9/10 that means i will never sustain a pregnancy right? I just want to cry :(

Loup23 · 12/05/2011 15:39

bump really hope all goes well for you, good news from the epu - fx the pain stops.

olismum great news re the opk. Will your LP definitely be 6 days? I can't remember when you m/c but is it possible that your cycles are still a bit all over the place so your LP might be longer? I have an LP of 10 and I have been taking vitamin B6 and agnus castus which has extended it to 12 days so that might help. Fx for dtd today x

olismum23 · 12/05/2011 15:47

loup It wont definitely be 6 days my cycles can be anywhere between 30 and 35 days long CD 24 at the moment all i can do is hope its a long one. I have B6 and agnus castus not took it yet how do i take it? will taking the b6 today help or hinder?

I mc in early feb hormones were not rising as they should.

Loup23 · 12/05/2011 16:01

fx olis that you get a longer LP then, it could already be 11 days then? I'm not sure re B6/AC but I take it from AF to OV then I stop AC at OV but carry on with B6 only becasue when I m/c in February I still think there's a tiny chance it's becuase I stopped the B6 - I am not a dr and have no idea and the EPU said that wasn't the case but I've read on line (damn google) that similar people have experienced the same. How did you find out that your hormones weren't rising? I definitely think my hormones are all over the place........... x

CollieandPup · 12/05/2011 16:38

olis that's good about the okp. You're cycle could still be uo to 35 days which would give you a good lp length. You could even be having a longer cycle? I'm not sure when to take vitb or Angus c bit I know they gmfo help. I also took flaxseed oil after ov to help with lining. Ohh and ate lots of brazil nuts. Good luck.

loup fx for you, and for lily

stitch are you out this month as oh was away?

lily little pup is ok (I think) thanks for asking. Private Scan was just over a week ago, great results. Have nhs scan weds next week. My belly is starting to stick out a bit now, just a bit but enough to look like I've been eating way to many pies!!!..... which I probably have Grin really hoping this is your month, would love to see you join us on the other thread.

Wondering if chloe is lurking.... I never replied properly to your lady post but I'm so glad the counselling session went well and you're doing so great. So nice to hear you so happy. We've been talking on the t'other thread of having a northern meet up- would you be up for it? Anyone else 'up north'?

mels how are you sweet? Af nearing an end I hope?

Big hugs for bump I know how stressed you are. And I know no guarantees after such an early scan, but the good news is it's there and all in the right place, growing as it should. Xx

hugs for Hadrian too, hope you're ok? X

olismum23 · 12/05/2011 18:12

mmm maybe i should take vit b then?

Glad everything is well collie

loup I was getting quantitive hcg tests done every 48hrs it started as i went to a and e with pain and then they tested etc very nervous it might happen again and that a short lutal phase may have something to do with it :(
On the plus side DTD already rushed upstairs with DH as soon as i could leaving DS watching thomas the tank engine very loud Blush Grin

meliesmummy · 12/05/2011 20:01

bump have they given you a repeat appointment for reassurance?

Nice to hear you are well collie!

olis stress can make you ov late so maybe that's it and this will just be a long cycle?

Im getting nervous of camping this weekend, the weather forecast isn't making me optimistic! Dd is very excited about peppa pig world. No sign of the end of af collie, think it might be a long one!

How are you Cep?

Waves to loup and stitch!

Any news from hopeful lately, or Brooke?

Blackkat · 12/05/2011 20:16

olis have you had your progesterone level tested? Short LP can be extended with progesterone support, I think, certainly I know of two friends who have sustained successful prg with prog support for short LP xx

olismum23 · 12/05/2011 20:48

Thanks blackkat i will speak to my gp about it going to wait it out till this cycle ends to see what happens then i will go and speak to them :) are you well?

melies i can only hope! Grin

Loup23 · 12/05/2011 22:06

Lovely to hear about your sticky out tum collie long may it continue!

oli i hope your LP is ok this month, great news re DTD, thank god for tv/dvds at these times!! So you're on the 2ww now..... Fx. Helpful advice from blackkat worht knowing if this isn't our month......

Have a lovely time camping melies are you from that area? I went to Paultons loads growing up, loved it! Hope the sun shines for you and your AF lets up soon and you dont have to pack the mooncup! xx

meliesmummy · 12/05/2011 22:22

loup im in south Wales so 3 hour drive to Paultons hence the camping. Not much to suggest af is on the way out unfortunately! Last month was much heavier but at least that meant it was over faster. Oh well. I'll probably start on the opks on day 10 this month rather than 7 as it says in the box because that seems so early! So that means next Weds...bring it on!

Ok ladies, I need some advice here. CD 30 today, AF due yesterday and had cramps but no AF. Tiny amount of brown cm on wiping yesterday afternoon and evening, but almost invisible. This morning fully expected AF in full flow, but still nothing. Still a bit crampy, but not as much as yesterday. Now, my cycles have been exactly 28 days for the past three cycles, since starting on clomid. Tested on Monday CD26 and definate negative. Tested again this morning and negative, but had a shower then fished the stick back out the bin (please tell me I'm not the only one that does this!!) just to check and I think I saw the very faintest of lines, but perhaps this is outside the time that I'm supposed to read it. Line was so faint it almost wasn't there. Test was only an Asda cheapie, but supposed to be very sensitive. So, do I leave it until Sunday and test again with same Asda cheapie? Or do I raid the chemist tonight and buy one of every brand going and see if I get any lines???

Loup23 · 13/05/2011 10:41

roll on Wednesay melies and hope O day comes round soon. Have a fab time away this weekend. Fx the rain stays away.

lily I really hope the spotting is good news for you and that AF stays away, I have scrabbled through the bin on many an occassion! I got a BFP in Feb and it was only when I looked at an old HPT i saw a line, but they do say to disregard after a certain time. FRER were good for me, maybe buy a different branc and test tomorrow with FMU? Easier said than done! Good luck x

hadrian · 13/05/2011 11:08

Hello all, just a quick note to say that I couldn't take the stress any more and booked myself in for a private scan which was this morning...all looking good so far Grin. All measurements spot on for 7+1 and a good strong heartbeat. Feeling relieved but am sure I've still got a lot more freaking out to do...

lily fx that this is your month. I am guilty of bin raiding too Blush. Given that AF was due yesterday I think I would throw caution to the wind, get down to the chemist and spash out on a CB digi!

olis am so impressed with your weight loss, how are you doing it?

Loup23 · 13/05/2011 12:43

Great news hadrian hope that has helped out your mind at rest (a little bit) and hope all goes well, strong HB is great news!

I have to say lily as soon as I thought I saw a line I bought a FRER and did it mid-afternoon (all the while knowing I should wait for FMU) but just couldn't help it! It showed a BFP. Good luck - let us know.

Blackkat · 13/05/2011 13:55

Lily Smile A line is a line!!! My BFP showed up late on Clomid CD 31/32 I think. Might be worth trying another POAS tomorrow morning with FMU, til then will be keeping everything tightly crossed for you Grin

lily06 · 13/05/2011 14:21

Hadrian really pleased all is ok - glad you had a scan and put your mind at rest.

Thanks for the recommendation, Loup, I think I'm going to get a FRER tonight and try in the morning. If that's good I'll get a digi for Sunday.

Blackkat that's interesting, I did wonder if the clomid and/or bromocriptine might affect it anyway.

Glad I'm not the only bin-raider around then! Depressed myself a bit when I read that a line can appear after 15 mins or so as the test dries out.....hmmmmm. Haven't even told DH as I think he would a) think I was mad and b) probably not be able to see the oh so faint line anyway!

Loup23 · 13/05/2011 16:06

Oh everything crossed lily really hope there is a line and another BFP for this thread! x

meliesmummy · 13/05/2011 16:14

lily what colour is the line? I had an evaporation line once, it was sort of silver, and 'ghosty' if that makes sense? What colour is the line meant to be? Pink brands like fr and superdrug are the best type, less likely to have evaporation lines apparently! Fx for tomorrow then! :)

Great news Hadrian! Grin

Waves to blackkat and loup and everyone else!

We're on our way...just stopped for krispy kremes at the services (healthy i know but they haven't reached Swansea yet though so they are a proper treat!) I just drove dh's car for 2 hours which is always nerve wracking because it's automatic and it takes me ages to get used to it!

cep · 13/05/2011 16:48

delurks to say fx for fmu tomorrow lily

mel enjoy camping and paultons park, let me know what you think of peppa pig world.

lily06 · 13/05/2011 17:04

Ok, so I plumped for the cb digi in the end - only because I was so confused with the faint line this morning, and I think I would just be confused again with a line type. Also bought some more asda cheapies too.

I know I should have waited until tomorrow and used fmu, but caved in about 10 mins ago. CB digi says Pregnant 1-2 which I guess is more conclusive Shock

cep · 13/05/2011 17:07

yay lily that's fantastic news. so so pleased for you. Grin Grin

slovenlydotcom · 13/05/2011 17:10
