I remember you hadrian - I had an mc at Christmas last year and I think you had one around about the same time. Congratulations! Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with the thread everyone. I've been lurking ... but it just goes to fast for me ...

Blackkat · 23/04/2011 19:45

hadrian · 23/04/2011 22:39

Aah thanks ladies, it's nice to be back with you all. Don't think I'm quite ready for the freak out room...it's very early days and I don't really feel pg so am finding it hard to be optimistic. If it's ok with you I might just lurk here for a while and see how it goes [busmile]

LoveBeingAbleToNamechange · 24/04/2011 06:37

Hadrian you are feeling totally normal and how everyone does, the really lucky ones have the feeling wear off but I think lots don't. Just have to focus and believe x x x

meliesmummy · 24/04/2011 08:01

Hang around all you want hadrian!

Big news here....day 14 and I got my :) (or should that be [busmile?]) Grin. Back to normal at last! Although being at my parents might hinder any romance...

Can't believe I messed up the [busmile]!!!

OP posts:
cep · 24/04/2011 08:04

mel so glad everything is going back to normal for you. [bugrin] [bubear]

hadrian · 25/04/2011 08:48

Great news mel, I love it when I get a Smile! Hope you're getting busy...

All OK here so far, POAS again this morning, got another, slightly darker, line. I'm going to Chicago tomorrow for a conference and normally I'd be really looking forward to it but this time I wish I could stay at home and take it easy. Guess I can't just lock myself away!

Is everyone on holiday? It's unusually quiet on this thread!

harassedinherpants · 25/04/2011 11:04

Morning!!

Just a quick catch up from me as it's dh's birthday and I should tidying the garden before family descend.

hadrian lots of congratulations!!

mel so glad things seem to be getting back to normal

cep how is ds sleeping?? Was thinking of you at 4am when dd woke up!

collie was right, I have been a bit quiet since my bfp. I can't quite believe I'm preg again, plus the inevitable fear and worry have two mc's this year. I don't think I'm mentalling, more trying to persuade myself that a) I'm not preg and/or b) it's bound to go wrong. Seeing my kinesiologist again tomorrow am, and doc in the pm. I have lots of symptoms, but then I did with both mc's. It's soooo difficult!! I'm seriously thinking of phoning mw to see if they'll book me in early so I can get some support. Has anyone else done that??

cep · 25/04/2011 18:03

hadrian Grin

hihp hope dh's birthday went well. he's having mostly good nights lately, although last night he woke up at 4:45 but he needed a poo .

i think it's normal to be a bit quiet, it may be worth speaking to them and seeing what they can do.

Minnie74 · 25/04/2011 20:03

Hi everyone-been so busy not had time to catch up

We're being inspected at work next week so have been frantically planning and sorting stuff all weekend.

congrats hadrian on the bfp and melie on the Smile

collie enjoy scotland especially with your past 9+3 bean!

I'm still bleeding a little but it has slowed down a lot. Have been feeling a bit sick too which i hope is a good sign.

cep collie mentioned you had a UTI at the start too. Did you get given antibiotics to clear it? My gp said to wait and see what happens as I'm so early on. Don't want to mc again because i didn't take anything but then my gp sounded worried about giving me something Confused I've been drinking tonnes of cranberry juice though!

meliesmummy · 26/04/2011 14:12

Hello ladies! Hope you all had nice Easters!

harassed, glad it's all boring with you!

Glad the bleeding's slowed minnie.

I'm now day 1 of the 2 ww, please support me through the mentalling!

OP posts:
cep · 26/04/2011 14:44

minnie i left a note on the other thread, but i only suspected it was as it felt familiar to what i've had loads of times before. The gp i called on the days callback list (supposdly for emergencys) prescribed me some antibiotics just incase it was a uti, and it cleared it up. Infact in my last pg i had a uti confirmed at the beginning and they gave me anti b's then as well.

mel keeping fx for you hon.

Bumpwanted · 26/04/2011 15:41

Hi everyone

Happy Easter!

Minnie really glad to hear its slowing down. Hope its just a simple uti.

Mel good luck!

Hi to Cep Harassed Collie Oli Loup and anyone else I have forgotten.

I am on 2ww but am not going to get a BFP. I am on about 6DPO and can tell already. Last time I had symptoms really early on...very bloated tummy, loads of wind Blush, underside of boobs painful. This time I have nothing at all. I know its early but given I had some symptoms last time before 6DPO I just think I have to be realistic and so I think its unlikely to be my month this month. Annoying!

Heard another friend is pregnant over the weekend and had two people over who asked me outright when I am going to start filling my bedrooms with kids. Ummmmm hello people.....I am trying!!!

Good luck to everyone this month!

xxx

harassedinherpants · 26/04/2011 15:54

Hello all!

Bump don't you just hate people like that?! I always want to ask what it's got to do with them Hmm

Cep how you keeping lovely??

Mel shall we mental together, albeit for different reasons?? Grin Have my fingers x'd for you.

Minnie sorry I can't help, but hope it all clears quickly. You just don't need the worry really?!

I'm having a small mental/freak out moment as I'm having quite a crampy tummy this afternoon. In fact I'm sat hear waiting for it all to go wrong. Stupid really as I have symptoms which, looking back, did disappear with my natural mc. Sooo.... tired - check, sore boobs - check, nausea - check.

Saw my alternative lady this morning and had my vits adjusted, and off to the docs at 6.30 to beg for a scan and progesterone.

I daren't join the Freak Out thread, but save my beanbag just in case Grin.

cep · 26/04/2011 18:19

bump fx your wrong hon.

hihp sorry your having a bit of a freak out today, the crampy tummy is horrible and naturally scary, just don't forget it is normal to get some crampy feelings. will reserve a beanbag for you as requested. hope dr will get a scan for you.

I'm ok thankyou, doing the usual worrying over nothing. it's a week since last scan and just over a week till my nuchal one, and although i've had no bleeding or pain i've started the usual damn bad feelings again. we're taking ds to next one as no babysitter, quite looking forwrd to him seeing it (if all ok) but told dh to keep him outside until we know is ok. dh argued a bit but i said i'd rather have them brought in if ok than ds rushed out if not.

Youremindmeofthebabe · 26/04/2011 18:57

Just a quickie as really meant to be revising, but just to let you know I got a BFP today. I'm really chuffed, and a bit scared. I was staring cycle 9 in the eyes, so glad I'm not at that point now. Will try to catch up tomorrow when essay handed in. Hope all are well and had lovely weekends.

olismum23 · 26/04/2011 20:21

Yey!!! YRMOTB :) :) :)

ochaye · 26/04/2011 20:42

Woweee YRMOTB - brilliant news! Huge congratulations!!!

lily06 · 26/04/2011 21:26

Woohoo!!!! Congrats, YRMOTB - that's brilliant news!! Grin

Cep I think you're doing the right thing with your ds and the scan, I'm sure everything will be ok, I think your plan is very sensible and you will feel more relaxed I think too. x

Harrassed I'm sure everyone has said this already, but what you're feeling is perfectly natural, hope you are managing to put your feet up and relax a bit. How did it go at the drs, did they agree to an early scan for you?

Bump I do hope you're wrong, will still keep fx for you. Re your friends comments, I get that a lot too and "best hurry up" - yeah, like we haven't thought of that!

Mel hope the 2ww passes quickly for you.

Hadrian I remember you too - and massive congrats for your BFP!!!!! Smile

Blackkat, how are things?

Collie you'll be passed your dreaded 9+3 now then? Hope all is still ok x

Olis your hair sounds fab, will see if I can get to lush at some point and have a look, was wondering where to get it from. I worked it out and last time I did mine with hennas was.....1994. Hmmm, not only has that shop long gone, but the building has been demolished and I live over 100 miles away now Grin

Minnie hope your uti is getting sorted out or going away by itself, I get them quite often and they're horrible I know.

Quiet weekend here, worked all through and the shop was busy on saturday but quietish on fri and mon, and not a single person on sunday - but got some paperwork done and caught up so not all bad. Working this Friday and Saturday but going to have Sunday and Monday off. My best friend from school is coming up for the day on Sunday, so really looking forward to a nice girly day out with shopping and lunch.

Some of last months optimism has faded a bit now, trying to concentrate on the fact I'm on new medication this month alongside the clomid, so giving it everything I've got.

Must lose some weight too, I've put on loads this year. Does Special K for breakfast still count as healthy if you've made it into chocolate crispy cakes with added mini marshmallows and treacle? No? Thought not Grin

Minnie74 · 26/04/2011 22:01

YRMOTB Woooohooo! Congratulations-here's to a sticky nine months!

lily know how you feel about the weight loss- I ate so much chocolate yesterday i actually felt sick! And put on 2 pounds! Try to stay positive, fx for you.

Bit worried today as while no brown bleeding have had two tiny bits of pink Sad maybe it's too much cranberry juice Grin Was at work for 12 hours so maybe i just need to sit down and chill for a bit.

hadrian · 27/04/2011 03:53

yrmotb that is wonderful, wonderful news. I'm so pleased and excited for you. Cycle 9 can sod right off Grin

I got a BFP on Friday so we can mental together if you like. At the moment I don't really believe I can be pg and am too scared to join the freak out room...

Youremindmeofthebabe · 27/04/2011 08:37

Aw, Thank you guys[csmile]

hadrian that's my thoughts exactly re cycle 9Grin. Congratulations on your BFP, it will be lovely having a buddy to go through this all with. I'm not even at 14 DPO yet, so there's no way I'm going over til at least I'm 4 weeks gone!

Waves to all.

meliesmummy · 27/04/2011 08:58

Congratulation yrmotb!!!! [cgrin] [cgrin] [cgrin]!!!! here's to an exceptionally boring 9 months! Wine

harassed dont stress over cramping, think of it as a good sign, your bean is just settling in.

I took dd in for my scan Cep because we had no one to have her and I wanted dh in with me, so she was there when I found out the baby was gone. It made it harder so I think you are sensible, not that you are going to get bad news of course, you are in the safe zone now!

I'm working again tonight, then 7 days off, yippee! Going from optimistic to pessimistic for this month, terrified that af will get me on Friday (day 19). If I'm not pg I at least want a normal 28 day cycle!

OP posts:
Bumpwanted · 27/04/2011 09:43

Morning ladies!

HUGE congrats YRMOTB and also to Hadrian. It is so great hearing about BFPs after MC!! Can totally understand you being nervous...I feel nervous even at the prospect of ever getting a BFP again but I am sure this time things will be fine. Sod off cycle 9 Grin Grin !!!

Hi to everyone else. Feeling so sleepy today so not going to name check if that's ok!

Still no symptoms and I am either 7DPO or 8 DPO (do you ovulate the day you get a smiley face or a day after?) other than some period pains when I went to bed....am sure its AF reminding me its on its way as I do get period pains up to a week before sometimes.

Have decided if its a BFN this month I am going to buy myself new shoes! [cgrin]

xx
