Hi all, congratulations to YRMOTB and Hadrain hoping the BFPs continue.......

Bump hope you're wrong but can sympathise, I sort of knew that last time would be a BFN but you never know, hope AF stays away but buy those shoes anyway!

I'm on CD8 waiting for the monitor to shout for POAS, really hoping O day comes sooner than CD22/23 this month......

Good luck to the 2wws and hello to all those lurking x

cep · 27/04/2011 14:04

mel i kinda figured that as i had to go alone last week, if it'd been bad news i'd have had to cope alone till dh got home, so if it is bad news next week i'll just have to do the same until we get home, otherwise dh can bring him in once we know everything is ok. fx that you get a bfp if not fx that you have a good 28 day cycle.

bump i would dtd the day you get a smiley face and the day after. (i like the shoes plan) [cgrin]

kat2504 · 27/04/2011 15:11

Am going to be rejoining this fred soon I hope. Sadly awaiting management of my second missed miscarriage. May not ttc straight away but will lurk while going through the wtf period.
I'm sure I won't be the only one here hoping for 3rd time lucky so looking forward to chatting to people in the same boat.
ttc ought to be fun, given that it entails doing a fun activity in the hope of something really exciting. In actual fact it is a complete PITA. Am not looking forward to digging the shag dictator out again. Perhaps won't bother this time.

meliesmummy · 27/04/2011 15:31

Hi kat, I'm very sorry that you are going through this again :(. I hope that your treatment goes as well as such awful things can x

lily06 · 27/04/2011 16:23

Very sorry to hear your news Kat. As you say, there are plenty of us hoping for 3rd time lucky. Hope the next few weeks are as painless as possible for you. x

Chloe55 · 27/04/2011 18:58

Just bobbing on to say a huge congrats to yrmotb and hadrian Grin Grin

And sorry to Kat Sad

Just a quickie to let you know I had my counselling session today, there were lots of tears but I have decided I have dealt with the MC on my own in the end and am, at the moment, through the depression. Have also joined a gym and instead of throwing myself into TTC this month I am throwing myself into getting off this weight that I comfort ate my way to! Speak again soon ladies, tara for now Smile

hadrian · 27/04/2011 23:47

kat I'm so, so sorry to hear your news Sad. I hope you're being well looked after in RL and giving yourself whatever you need - wine, chocolate, rest, tears - to get through. I know exactly what you mean about ttc - sometimes I wonder whether DH and I have ruined our sex life forever. It used to be so much fun...!

Good for you chloe - glad to hear you're feeling better. From my experience exercise is definitely one of the best ways of dealing with depression/anxiety.

Ho hum I don't feel pg at all any more - whatever symptoms I had seem to have disappeared entirely. I don't even feel tired. I know it's early days but this is exactly what happened last time - I felt sick and tired with sore boobs at first and then it all went away. I just can't believe it's going to be any different this time. I'm trying not to worry but it's so difficult...

Bumpwanted · 28/04/2011 09:49

Morning ladies

Kat so so sorry to hear your news Sad Thinking of you and hope you are getting lots of TLC.

Chloe glad the session went well and you feel you are over the worst. Your exercise plan sounds like a really good idea.

Hadrian how far along would you be now? When did you last test? I read somewhere that symptoms can come and go so please try not to fret (I know easier said than done). I can imagine though it is so hard for you not to worry.

Hi to everyone!!

I'm around 8DPO I think (do you ovulate the day you get a smiley face or the one after?) and yest. I thought maybe I was having some positive signs. I was going to the loo quite a lot, sore throat, bloated tummy, boobs a tiny bit tender if I gave them a really good prod and feeling tired.

Last night though I was so ill. I think I had food poisoning. I wasn't sick but (apologies for the TMI) had such an upset tummy. Today my boobs don't hurt and I have the flattest tummy...don't think I've felt this thin in a while! The only thing that is different is I am a bit sneezy but that could easily be the pollen as its windy at the mo.

So, I don't think I do have any symptoms and if there was a hint of an embryo, suspect it couldn't survive last nights onslaught on my tummy and so now its gone!!

xx

harassedinherpants · 28/04/2011 13:03

hadrian I had that yesterday, and I had to phone mw about booking in etc. and it's usual for symptoms to come and go. Doesn't necessarily mean anything sinister. My boobs weren't sore yesterday and ms wasn't so bad.....freaked me out properly. Ms is back today though, never been so glad to feel icky.

kat so sorry to hear you news, I've left a message on your other thread.

Chloe your session sounds like it's had a positive outcome. Don't be a stranger!

I'm having an anxious freak out day today as according to my dates I'm 5+1, which is when I had my last mc. I want to feel excited about being prg but don't feel like I can iykwim. I hate feeling like this, just waiting for it all to go wrong again.....

lily06 · 29/04/2011 08:44

Morning,

Quiet on here for a change - guess everyone else is on holiday/off work.

Chloe that sounds very positive, especially joining the gym too, enjoy!

Harrassed What you're feeling is perfectly normal, glad your symptoms have returned, but sorry you're feeling ill again

Bump poor you feeling so ill, sure it wouldn't have affected anything if you are pg though, fx for you this month.

cep · 29/04/2011 14:45

chloe glad your session went well.

meliesmummy · 29/04/2011 14:53

How are things hadrian and harrassed?

Hope you are feeling better bump.

Glad the counselling went well, good luck with the gym Chloe.

I'm full of cold, typical on my weekend off! Day 19 for me, I'm really hoping for no period over the next few days. I've just had little stabby pains on my left hand side, the optimistic part of me is thinking implantation...of course it's probably just wind!

meliesmummy · 29/04/2011 15:01

I forgot to add that I've had cravings for elderflower cordial...I bought a bottle a few days before my last bfp, had 1 glass then went right off it, then yesterday I had to get the bottle out. Someone slap me with a fish please!! cep are you there? You are good at fish!

OP posts:
cep · 29/04/2011 17:48

mel as requested. < (am keeping fx for you though hon.)

will have to appologise for being quiet the last week and will be this week, am doing quite a bit of mentalling for my scan this week. don't know why as no blood or pain, just that feeling again, plus a couple of ladies on my ante thread have mc'd, and it's just bringing it all back to me from last time. I hope everyone is ok, and is enjoying the weekend, fx for everyone on the 2ww.

Blackkat · 29/04/2011 17:59

cep just seen your post, and totally understand how you're feeling.
But, and I keep telling myself this, when you've seen the heartbeat the stats really are on your side. ((hugs)) thinking of you xx

Blackkat · 29/04/2011 18:02

Mel I have my FX for you - an overwhelming need for fried eggs was my first sign!! Elderflower is so much healthier!!

Lily hope all well?

Chloe glad that the counselling went well ((hugs))

Hadrian, Harassed, YRMOTB hope all is going well for you?

olis how are you??

FX for all the 2wwers and a huge ((((hug)))) for Kat if you're lurking

meliesmummy · 29/04/2011 19:26

Cep I can understand why you are worried but like blackkat said, the stats are on your side x

OP posts:
cep · 29/04/2011 20:55

i'm sure i'll be lots better after the scan this week and will hopefully be able to relax, i keep saying the same thing, but as i saw the hb last time the reassurance doesn't last long, although i also tell myself that i only saw the hb at 6/7 wks last time, this time i saw it at 11+3. We're telling my folks this weekend, so looking forward to that, and his mum the weekend after the scan as she lives nearer and can see her anytime.

thanks for the reassurance ladies, as i said hopefully i'll be better this time next week.

meliesmummy · 29/04/2011 21:03

I've just tempted fate and ordered a mooncup...surely spending £18 on a product I wouldn't need for 9+ months if I was pg will mean that I am?!

OP posts:
olismum23 · 30/04/2011 00:38

Hi all just a quick drop in to say I'm alive and trying still have my monitor on and poas but never started on 6day when i should have started on day 10 instead so might be messed up.
I am fed up a bit of it all, I know i am only on my 3rd cycle post MC but i was trying for 2 years previous to MC (basically since DS was born) so wondering if it will ever happen.
I have started a low carb diet (atkins) and have lost 6lb since Wed i kid you not! I am now 17st i weighed myself on wed and was discover that i had piled on another 6lb so 1st 6lb since MC!!! Blush I know its not great for fertility but i am hoping the weight loss will make up for that as my BMI is 37 I would like to get to 12st thats if i don't fall pregnant on the way!

I have a good feeling about you melies I really think this is your month i know you should not say that but i do.

cep I am sure your scan will go well but i can understand your anxiety huge ((hugs))

blackkat hope you and baby bean are doing well, thanks for asking after me.

kat really sorry for you loss (((hug)))

chloe hope you are enjoying your month off i miss you off this thread though so be sure to pop in for a chat.

Once again congrats to all the recent BFP'S with my ever decreasing waistline i hope it will soon be me :)

meliesmummy · 30/04/2011 09:36

Congrats on the weight loss olis, and thanks for the positive thoughts!

OP posts:
Blackkat · 30/04/2011 11:24

olis Well done you on the weight loss Grin Grin you are doing all the right things. I know how tough it is to ride out more than two years, it's tough keeping going. But believe me when I say that if you're looking after yourself like you are it will happen xx

mel WTF is a mooncup???

to everyone else

meliesmummy · 30/04/2011 14:53

What's that blackkat? On mn and you don't know what a mooncup is? Tsk...Grin! See here.

OP posts:
lily06 · 30/04/2011 21:47

Well, that's my education complete - I had no idea either!

hadrian · 01/05/2011 08:03

Ha ha I now know what a mooncup is too. The things you learn!

Good to hear from you olis and congrats on the weight loss, that's fantastic. My DH swears by Atkins.

FX for you melies. At the risk of getting haddocked, those are all good signs...

Not much to report here. Boobs are quite sore and I've had a couple of waves of nausea...all in all am feeling slightly more pg but still don't really believe it. It's such a weird feeling - as though I can't let myself be happy because if I do and it all goes wrong again the grief will be so much worse. I just want to put my head in the sand and pretend it's not happening!

Oh well, it's a bank holiday tomorrow, the sun is shining and I'm going to potter round in the garden. Hope you're all having a good weekend.
