ucl = usual cycle length
wtf cycle = the time after your mc when you have no idea whats going on with your normal cycle

yes a long weekend - 2 in fact! (actually for me its a week off from friday!!) YAY

bump do you use fertility friend.com? even if you don't temp you can use it to note your cm. The thing with cm is that it can change during the day, it says to note the most fertile cm of that day. Do you test with 1 or two fingers? it's normal for all woman to not ov every now and then.

Nope I don't do anything other than look on period tracker on my iphone at the mo. I am trying not to start logging stuff just yet given its only the 1st attempt on this cycle. This time post MC I caved in to one pack of OPKs in case my cycle was messed up and I didn't know when I was ovulating. Suspect next month if we are still TTC I will have charts all over the plance!

Still confused here, did a hpt last night (obvs not fmu) got a bfn. No bleeding yesterday, some brown this afternoon. Just want to know one way or another so have two tests left! Will do one tomorrow and one friday - naughty I know but I'm in sunny france so will have some wine tonight....

Bump sounds like quite a night

Went to the doctor today about my right hand pain and she cant find any reason for it and doesnt think it will affect the pregnancy in any way.

Going to clinic tomorrow for confirmation blood test....feeling terrified!!

Am coffee'd up so can now string a sentence together.

Hopeful that is really good news hun. Am sure you must be really nervous about the blood test but I am sure it will go well and hopefully you will feel a little less worried and more reassured afterwards. Will think of you tomorrow. What time are you going?

Loup sorry you got your AF. At least you can have a good time on hols and know that everything has been totally cleared out and is back to normal after the MC now.

Morning Cep Collie Blackkat CHloe Olis Lily Minnie and everyone else!!

Well it was quite a night but not necessarily for good reasons! We were up really really late tidying the house as we have 6 people coming over for dinner tonight. I was also trying to prepare some of the food so it will be less manic when I get home. Ended up going up to bed at 1am and then DTD took ages........totally my fault but I think I was a bit nervous as I had a smiley face so I felt this huge amount of pressure!!!! So first off it wasn't going well and I didn't feel remotely like it and when we eventually did get going, I burst out laughing (for no reason whatsoever) at the key moment so we ended up stopping! Managed to get there in the end (TMI!!?) and whilst it was good, I didn't feel like it was one of those magical moments where sparks are flying in my uterus as the sperm and egg meet and form our child!!! Plus, the "deposit" !! ran back out again on my way to work....seriously how can that happen 7 hours later? It feels like I am 5 years old again and peed in my pants

Hey bump. Glad to hear it's going well. Don't worry too much about the next day's deposit, for want of a better word. I have read that by the next day that it's pretty much seminal fluid, and not sperm. God knows how, but there you go.

Want to hear my interesting fact of the day? A man's body knows whether he is coming for his own self gratification, or if there's a chance of reproduction (ie a woman involved) and adjusts the amount of sperm accordingly! Bodies are weird..

bump i always laid down on my back with pelvis raised after dtd, just to give it an extra chance to get to the goal.

bump am laughing at your post - deposits always come out straight away for me but I always think of Boris Becker getting that girl pregnant in the broom cupboard! Think those swimmers get in there pretty quick!! Good luck

YRMOTB I know the feeling. I actually convinced myself I had some symptoms on Monday...until I got a positive on an OPK yest and it turns out I hadn't even ovulated by Monday...its still such early days for you yet. Hang in there though and don't prod your boobs too often to see if they hurt!

Loup oh don't get me wrong I get that too and have the great pleasure of sleeping in a wet patch....seriously...how much stuff can he be putting in there for more to come out later too!??????

I honestly don't know how any babies are made by people who have sex standing up...the sperm must fly through the air with their arms outstretched trying to grab onto something before they fall back out!

I have just re-read my post...for anyone who didn't read about my OPK testing yesterday I sound like a headcase...

bump - I share your next day issues, always very confusing at OV time when trying to work out whose it is. With all that comes out seriously don't know how any gets up there to do the job. Definitely no standing at key DTD times.

CD10 here and time to start POAS to check for OV.

Feel so tired even though its only my second day of full flow i have not got my ample bottom to the gym in 5 days!!
Any way i may make myself go after dinner. I went to Lush and bought myself some henna hair dye looking forward to using it later on!

I'm 11+4 now, which is weird, can't believe i'm nearly at 12 weeks already. i don't have my scan until the 5/5 so i'll be nearly 14 weeks then, but can finally tell people.

Same old same old on the bleeding. Might try to get a scan out of the EPU then at least I'll know. Not holding out much hope as they were pretty adamant I'd need to wait a couple of weeks.

Just had row with dp as his mum rang to question me about 'this mc'. We'd decided not to tell parents to stop any worry from mine or nagging from his. So we both only told two really close friends. He swears blind he hasn't told her but as far as I can tell she's not psychic! So now I feel guilty that my mum and dad don't know but didn't want to worry them unneccessarily. Was going to tell them when we knew for sure what was happening. Doesn't help that I don't get on with his mum anyway!

Hi ladies, sorry to barge in on your thread, but I'm after a bit of advice if you wouldn't mind helping? I mc'd 3 weeks ago, and was told I should wait until after my period to ttc, as I'm more at risk of another mc if I get pg in between. Never heard this before, anyone else been told this? I've always read (mainly on MN) that they only recommend that for dating purpose.
I feel really insensitive and mean in thinking this, but I am honestly fed up of bleeding and not having sex . I know there's nothing I can do, but it's so frustrating and i've been a total bitch to DH the last few days Anyway, TIA for any help, and I hope I can join in somewhere over here again soon!

And I'd just like to say, my thoughts are with anyone going through mc, best wishes to everyone waiting to test, and congrats to any BFPs! x

Welcome to the thread edward, i'm sorry to hear that you're still suffering a mc. Bleeding for 3 weeks sounds like a long time. With regards to trying again, I really think your body will let you know when its ready. I didn't wait to dtd and got pg straight away. I'm 9+3 weeks now and all seems ok (fx). The doctors don't seem worried at all, the only difference is that I needed an early dating scan at 6 weeks to determine edd.

I really feel my body had returned to normal though. I didn't bleed a lot during the mc. It stopped completely after 1 week and I ovulated 14 days later.
Fx that you'll stop bleeding soon.
