Morning ladies!

Feeling much better today. DH and I didn't talk about it at all last night after his mini apology email whilst we were at work as there wasn't really anything else to say. I feel like now I have my AF the hormones are subsiding! Yay! So I am a little less mentally unstable! I also sent him that link which I think helped so thanks again for that.

Really so glad you are feeling a bit better too!

Layla CONGRATS!!! Looking forward to hearing the line is getting stronger everyday.

Hopeful hope you are feeling a bit stronger after the MC and tomorrow goes well.

Cep pleased to hear you got some sleep! Is stopping him from napping during the day an option so he sleeps more at night or will he be overtired and then just really upset during the day?

Minnie where are you in your cycle? Have you been TTC again?

Melies am going to check my work policy and see if I can get reflexology on it. I get such bad period pains and I wonder if that might help whilst I am thinking about TTC...

Wellie its nice to know we are not alone!! Men eh!?

Sorry if I've missed anyone off.Hope everyone is having a good morning. xx

laylasmummy09 · 05/04/2011 10:05

this thread goes in fits and starts with BFPs hopefully it will be your day soon RUE

Bumpwanted · 05/04/2011 10:14

ps Cep also meant to say I hope the scan goes really well today. Will be thinking of you xx

harassedinherpants · 05/04/2011 10:17

Hi everyone,

Sorry not been about, combination of a busy weekend and feeling really down. Think I should have taken more time off work with the 2nd one tbh. It'll be two weeks tomorrow and it's only 11 weeks today since my erpc...

laylas HUGE congratulations!

Cep good luck for today lovely, and glad ds slept through. Was just talking to a friend this morning who is having similar problems with her dd and tigers & spiders....

Bump you're sounding more positive Grin! Thank link is rather good isn't it? I found it so helpful.

Collie have messaged you, thank you for thinking of me lovely.

Forgotten everything else!!!! My memory is rubbish at the moment

Bumpwanted · 05/04/2011 10:38

Harassed sorry to hear you have been feeling really down Sad Its definitely a roller coaster ride and I guess we all have to get used to these ups and downs. Its still really early days for you though so don't be too hard on yourself. Did you read my chocolate/calory burning philosophy? I def think it applies to you so go and buy something yummy and I promise you wil feel a bit better!

Feeling much better today thanks but now I have started to talk about chocolate I feel I need some! xx

harassedinherpants · 05/04/2011 10:51

Bump I am living on chocolate! Dh was popping to the shop last night and I asked him to get me some and he said "Again?!".....Cue me feeling fat and useless.....men! In his defense I have been moaning about feeling fat and yucky and have put on weight and wasn't exactly skinny to start with.

Bumpwanted · 05/04/2011 10:56

Meh...people who are skinny find it harder to get pregnant (so they say but then blooming Poash Spice goes and gets knocked up....David must have super sperm) so you need something to grab hold of. Besides

Upset = stress = burning calories

Basically you are just maintaining the status quo...!

meliesmummy · 05/04/2011 10:56

YAY LAYLAS!!!!!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin!!!!! How are you going to keep it from your oh??? You must be ready to burst!

Really we seem to have runs of bfps, I hope like you that the thread is lucky!

Big hugs to harrassed and bump, hit that chocolate!

I'm not feeling optimistic about this month [:(]. I haven't had a true positive on the opks, the line is getting a bit lighter each day, not darker and my cm is non existent. I'm thinking that I either ov'd before the bleeding even stopped so we missed it or not at all [:(]. Next month I'm going to spend the extra few pounds and get the digital sticks, a smiley face is easier to interpret than 2 lines and apparently you can use fmu, which would be easier. On the plus side the reflexologist said that my feet feel 'smoother', I'm going to keep going once a week until I have a cycle that's longer than 3 weeks.

Reallyusefulengine · 05/04/2011 11:05

Harassed Big hugs and am thinking of you. At least we know the secret of chocolate and calorie burning now Wink.

Bump Glad you are feeling a bit better today too.

Melie So sorry you're not having much luck with the opks but sounds like progress with the reflexology.

It does sound like a lucky thread - FX for the rest of us too!

hopeful1 · 05/04/2011 12:47

I am feeling fine about having IUI tomorrow though having lots of pain and so am worried it wont work or I will mc again.

Melies - I also hate interpreting those ovulation sticks, i bought cheap boots ones and they say it is positive if line the same or darker as test line but i am never really sure, a smiley face would def make it easier

Layla - many congratualtions on your bfp, i am so pleased for you and wish your dd better

Really - thank you I am not feeling too bad

harassed - sorry you are feeling down, it is very hard as you have up days and down days so your emotions are all over the place, thinking of you

Bump - glad you seem to have got things sorted with DH. Mine was just really insensitive too and i told him off and he apologised, sometimes they need a little kick up the backside, like someone said earlier they are programmed a little differently!! Also, your comment about skinnier girls finding it harder to get pregnant, I agree, I think posh spice tried for a very long time, dont think it was easy which is what I tell myself as I help myself to dd stock of cream eggs!!

Collie2 · 05/04/2011 13:22

< lurking for news from cep >

will catch up later.

hopeful1 · 05/04/2011 13:30

how was the scan cep??

harassedinherpants · 05/04/2011 13:41

Hopeful will be thinking of you tomorrow.

Hospital just phoned to see if I was "happy" with everything, and ok to discharge. Such a lovely way to put it.....

cep · 05/04/2011 13:49

afternoon all.

hopeful good to see you again. fx for tomorrow. is the pain due to clomid?? might be worth mentioning it.

bump you say you didn't talk about it, but are you getting on a bit better?

hihp i asked dh for a bit of money so i could get chocolate after the scan and he told me i didn't need it. Hmm the sod.

mel sorry you're not feeling positive this month, remind me are you drinking the grapefruit juice? can't stand the stuff but i downed a glass every morning then had breakfast. although pink is better than the other stuff. great about the reflexology though great to know you're enjoying it.

great news from my scan, saw the hb again. and they moved the dates forward again so i'm 9 weeks 3 which is what i worked it out as. so relieved. he/she survived longer than the last one. now i just have to wait for my 12 week scan whenever that's going to be. booking in next week.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts you lot are wonderful.
sorry if i've missed anyone.

Hey ladies just an update, I did post on monday in the freak out room and was sure of my (bad) news would spread, but i had a chemical pregnancy.... so no longer updiffed and until next year after the wedding no llonger TTC either. Was heart broken when found out and am still devastsated aswould loved to have had a new baby at the wedding but obviously it was not meant to be.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all you lovely lovely ladies for your thoughts and wish you well in your TTC journeys im sure you will ALL get the BFPs you deserve and when its not too paonful i will lurk and hope to see each and everyone of you move from here to the freak out room and then to the Grads . TerrysNo2 · 05/04/2011 14:01

Yay cep Grin Grin I am stalking you from Nov, was worried about you!! Saw this pop up in active convos and got a bit scared. So happy for you!

Bumpwanted · 05/04/2011 14:05

Cep that is AMAZING news. How exciting!! Grin Grin Grin SO SO happy for you!!!

Yep getting on a lot better thanks. Once one of us apologises if we are in the wrong we tend to put things behind us pretty quickly and get on with life. I love him too much to stay mad at him for too long once he says sorry. However, this time next week we will need to decide whether to TTC and we haven't discussed that (I think he thinks we are still going to try as he has said yes because he knows I want to. I on the other hand am undecided about making a baby with someone who is doing it just because I want to but suspect once he offers it on a plate I won't be able to say no!)

xxx

Bumpwanted · 05/04/2011 14:07

oh MumTum just seen your post. I am so so sorry Sad Sad The only thing I can say is what my Mum said to me at the weekend which was timing is everything and there is a reason why it wasn't meant to be this time. I know you will have the most wonderful wedding and it will feel like the best day of your life so I hope you both can look towards that now and then have A LOT of fun on the honeymoon Wink. Sending you a big hug xxxx

hopeful1 · 05/04/2011 14:08
