mel collie* we tried that, he doesn't give up he screamed for the rest of the night at the gate for a week, bangs his toys on it and basically caused one hell of a noise.

chloe my parents offered to have him, but if mum stayed here ironically i'd worry about him waking her up, Confused and we can't afford to pay for a week nursery without him actually going. dh and i have a night away on 17/4 and ds is staying at the parents for the night, we're planning on having a long lie in. who wants to start the betting now that i'll wake early. Smile

olismum23 · 04/04/2011 15:48

Hi everyone
just a quick one my mood is all over the place today, does anyone else get mood swings around ovulation? I have never had them before but i tell you its been an awful day currently in bed while the wee one has a nap just feel dire!

Reallyusefulengine · 04/04/2011 17:31

Collie Thank you for the advice, so touched you wrote inbetween all the appointments!

Bumpwanted · 04/04/2011 17:51

Collie thanks so much for that. It was really good for me to read too. I sent it to him and he said he is sorry for what he said in the heat of the moment and he does understand/will try to more and loves me. So that's something!!

Cep I hope you have a lovely night off when you go away. I honestly don't know what to suggest as you sound like you are doing such a good job trying lots of different things. I think I might have missed your original post on this - when did it start? Did he used to sleep well?

Really I am so sorry you are feeling down. I was feeling loads better two weeks ago and this past week have been a crying mess. It is PMT for me and I think when our hormones go up and down at different times it is bound to affect how we all cope when something really traumatic and upsetting has happened. Don't be too down on yourself. I am sure you will feel a little better soon and until then eat lots of chocolate...don't worry about calories as upset = stress = burning calories so really it just balances it all out.

Olismum sorry you are having a rubbish day too. I def think your moods can change at different times of the month...at least I like to think that is what happens to me and I am not "emotionally unstable" as my DH claims!

Sorry if I've missed anyone off - I am a bit rubbish once I can't scroll up and see the posts as I get everyone confused!

xx

meliesmummy · 04/04/2011 18:00

Bump loving the philosophy that stress cancels out calories! Will it work on the croissants that dh over stocked on for mothers day that I can't avoid eating?!

Thanks for the offer Collie but cleaning my own house is more than enough for me...this morning I used oven cleaner on the oven for the first time since it was fitted 3 years ago, I've always just used general cleaning spray before now and I was disgusted at the colour of the water when I rinsed it...

Any luck with the HV Cep? good luck for tonight x

Reallyusefulengine · 04/04/2011 18:25

Bump Thank you for the lovely advice! I love your philosioy too - brilliant! Sorry to hear you're a crying mess, I send you tissues and some of that chocolate Grin

Minnie74 · 04/04/2011 19:26

collie so pleased for you. It must be so reassuring to see the little heartbeat.

loving your philosophy bump hope it works on crisps too. Hope you're feeling a bit more cheerful.

really oils hope you're both feeling better too

Got a strange pain in my side today which is like the one I had with the mc. Probably af on it's way but can't help reading all sorts into it!

Blackkat · 04/04/2011 20:04

Just playing catch up

Chloe so pleased you are being referred somewhere better, so pleased you are getting proper monitoring, sometimes a cycle off in between doses can put the mind and body at rest. So hope you get some good news soon (((hugs)))

Bump so sorry your DH was so unsympathetic earlier on, echo all the comments by the other ladies. Men do have a different way of dealing with things. The website Collie sent you, really helped me, and I sent it to some friends, my MIL and some close colleauges, the section on things not to say were really useful for all of them. HOpe you have a better day tomorrow Smile

Collie so, so pleased you got to see the HB, how lovely. Grin, Grin

Cep good luck for tomorrow FX, and really hope you get a decent sleep.

cep · 04/04/2011 20:22

evening ladies,

bump it feels like forever ago, Grin he used to sleep really well, never really late but woke up just before our alarms went off, then he started waking really early say between 4-5 then it got to all times of night, sometimes he goes back to sleep sometimes stays awake like last night. is typical he sleeps "well" while i've been signed off then starts off waking early again just before i go back to work.
I'm going to stop giving him his multi vit, i think he may be getting too much vit b's (worth a bloody try anyway) but his cereals have had it added as well and apparently it's good for giving extra energy.

thanks for all the good wishes. sorry if i've missed anything, i'm off for a bath and yes you guessed it an early night....again.....hope it's worth it. he didn't even have a nap today was just pure energy i don't know how he does it. anyway night night ladies.

meliesmummy · 04/04/2011 20:29

All the best for tomorrow Cep, I'll be lurking for news after my reflexology! I hope ds behaves for you x

OP posts:
stitchinline · 04/04/2011 21:31

Evening all, hope you had nice weekends

RUE and Chloe - antiphospholipid syndome is also called Hughes syndrome, it's an autoimmune disorder that can be one of the causes of recurrent miscarriage. I was diagnosed because I had DVT and lung clots after a long haul flight about a year ago, pretty scary stuff. My treatment was warfarin until I got pregnant and then the shots, becuase we wanted to try again straight away. Was quite relieved they let me stay on the heparin as I think going back on the warfarin would have just been too much for me on top of everything else.

Am totally symptom spotting as AF due tomorrow, my daily POAS is still BFN and not holding out much hope.

yay for Collie and the HB :o

wellieboots · 05/04/2011 06:17

Yay for colliebean HB! Grin well done you, that's amazing news!
chloe so fab that you're getting re-referred - it's a pain that it's all taken so long (especially if the gp knew that the clinic you were going to was crap Confused but hopefully you should start making progress now

Nice to meet you stitch, hope your stay here is short for the right reasons! :)
All the best for your scan today cep, really hope it's reassuring for you

bump olis and Really sorry you had rubbish days - this mc rollercoaster is a tough ride and as everyone else has already said, men talk a different language about it. I find it really frustrating to try and talk about something which I feel is just SO important and get noncommital responses or, on worse days, to be accused of being fixated :( I am starting to understand that this is just yet another area where they are just wired COMPLETELY different to us! Big hugs to all of you

cep · 05/04/2011 07:19

morning ladies

stitch sorry for bfn's.

thanks for the scan wishes, i am scared, hoping the bad feeling is just due to last time. I don't think i'll be able to come back on until after work, so i won't be able to report till after 13:00.

ds slept through yay (but then would have been suprised if he hadn't since he didn't nap yesterday) big test will b next few days.

hope you're all ok.

Collie2 · 05/04/2011 07:49

Fx cep xx

meliesmummy · 05/04/2011 08:26

Yay to full night's sleep Cep!! good luck today x

Anything to report wellie? You are top of the list...

Hello to stitch and collie and everyone else!

OP posts:
wellieboots · 05/04/2011 08:34

Fx that it will all be fine cep - big hugs and thinking of you today, it can't be easy to go back there, please keep us posted, glad that DS at least slept through x

Hi mellies thanks for the reminder :) - no sign yet though I had some very AF-like cramps in bed this morning, the UCL on the list is pre MC and I had a 33 day cycle last time, and a very long WTF as well - will prob test tomorrow if no sign of AF by then

waves to everyone else!
