Congrats to the other newbies. All welcome to a world of knicker checking... tis a different kind of mentalling! Even now at 20WEEKSONSUNDAY i am still checking nicks! Even though i can feel dulled movement due to placenta positioning, still unnerving dampness below!! Worried that everything will be ok.. maybe it will have started to actually look like a piece of white bread or a tomato!!

Bean is fine, hb 169 which I'm assuming is good based on drs reaction, heard it loud and clear :) measuring exactly 8 weeks. Dr said all looks perfect.

owl My friend once fired a staplegun at his own head, thinking it wouldn't hurt as there was no staples in it. Unfortunately the staple mechanism meant that he had a staple shaped Mark on his head fo a week. It was point blank range. Silly man.

I've just woken up at 6:30 despite only going to bed at midnigtvand being knackered, but can't sleep any more because I'm too excited about the bean!!! That is so wrong.... I'm seeing a really good friend tonight who last time I saw her was 8 weeks and mentalling (pregnant again post MMC) and she's now 32 weeks with a hyperactive kicking monster I can't get over how fast pregnancies go from the outside and how slowly when it's you!

morning all quick question, do you think it's safe to go swimming. ds and dss really want to go, i couldn't go last time cause was full of bad cold, but i'm just not sure if it's safe, until i know what the bleeding is from. what do you think?
