Hello!

Newly updiffed and freaking out about spotting, cramping, the wait until your first scan and each little twinge? Settle in for lots of hand holding and supprt until you're ready to move to grads.

Lots of love
Brian x

Collie welcome over from the ttc thread, and also welcome to WIW - congrats to both of you Grin

Cep I think Owl has a good theory. When I passed those 2 large clots the MW thought it was because it was pooling inside, it could be the same for you, but overnight?

Envy at those going away, we just have friends coming over and after being ill all week I really can't be bothered Blush

katherine2008 · 18/03/2011 10:45

welcome all bfp-ers and it's lovely to see some familiar names! Have fun everyone who is off away this weekend - at least it'll make time fly! I have managed to trap a nerve in my shoulder overnight and am not sure if waves of nausea are related to that or ms.... but I sure do miss nurofen. paracetemol is just not touching the sides. Hoping that a nice hot swimming pool at Centerparcs is just what the doctored ordered. Good luck any scanners and catch up next week. wishing you all iced buns and Wine

cep · 18/03/2011 10:46

mamap i hope so. Smile

owl please speculate away, i find it so bizarre, any guesses would eb appreciated. when you had spotting was it on wipe only, thankfully i haven't had any on st and i think thst's the only thing keeping me anywhere near sane. congrats on the 20 weeks.

matts will keep fx, how far will you be then?

mattsmama · 18/03/2011 10:52

cep thank you x I was five weeks exactly yesterday so I will be one day short of 7 weeks (I think). It is such early days - exciting but oh so nervewracking!!

Wombat33 · 18/03/2011 10:54

Morning lovelies!! Thanks to call your support and thoughtful words yesterday I'm feeling much more zen today Smile

Particular hellos and congratulations to Collie and fellow wombat WIW!!! We're setting up a marsupial colony Grin

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 18/03/2011 10:56

< pokes head round the door shyly and eyes up her freshly-plumped beanbag behind the gold ropes, but then gets The Fear and runs away again>

cep · 18/03/2011 10:57

i know that feeling Smile i had to wait till 7 weeks, hence why not till monday. it is really frustrating i can understand why the wait but i just want to stamp my feet and say i want to know now!!

I'm Envy people going away as well, i have my dh who's ill so naturally he's dying. i won't get a lie in at weekend i never do apparently me getting up at 6:30-6:45 during the week is a lie in cause he gets up at 6:20. We'll possibly have dss and ds who both want to go swimming which would be fine but dh not in the mood and at this moment in time (sounds daft) but i'm a bit scared to until i know what's happening. It's not going to be a fun weekend. Sad

Wombat33 · 18/03/2011 11:05

Izzy!!! Come back or I might be forced to depoly Owl's stapler!!! Wink Grin I just left you a message on the common room thread but WHOOP !!! Congratulations!!!!! Grin Grin Grin I know it's scary early days but I am thrilled for you xxx Come in and claim your bean bag whenever you're ready!

Wombat33 · 18/03/2011 11:09

*Deploy - sorry, my typos are even worse than usual in my excitement Grin

delilahbelle · 18/03/2011 11:17

Hey cep I'm thinking about you, good luck for Monday. My scan is two WEEKS on Monday if I get that far.

Am still spotting dark red, but no cramps yet. But then I'm still on the cyclogest pessaries so they could well be holding AF at bay. I don't know what to do for the best, feel so stressed

owl when you had you early bleeding what was it like? If you don't mind sharing x

cep · 18/03/2011 11:33

thanks delilah i hope we're both just having weird bleeds that don't mean anything.

izzy yay congratulations.

mamapower · 18/03/2011 11:45

Izzy get your back side back here on the double mrs... welcome in Grin and mahooooooosive congratulations again Grin Grin Grin

Emoo · 18/03/2011 11:45

Ahhhh the day started badly (arsing around with fecking bicycle pump that didn't work, whilst already late for school, and ending up removing skin from knuckles) but I've just read the good news and am feeling much more chipper now...

CONGRATULATIONS Izzy, Collie and WIW!! Grin

Yes, of course it's early days, but that's the whole reason this thread was set up - for those who didn't yet feel ready to graduate properly, but who also didn't want to go on too much and rub noses in it of those who are still waiting for their bfp.. So, be brave, come on in! I've baked a giant choccie cake for us all

MummyAbroad · 18/03/2011 12:55

Izzy Big congratulatory hug for you. I feel like we started this journey together all those (9?) months ago back on the tightie whities thread, I am so pleased for you and I am sure this one will be sticky xxx

Collie yay for BFP!!!! Grin

WIW very sorry to hear about your losses, thats a tough thing to go through. Hope that this time its very different and that long awaited babe is going to be yours. xx

Hairy nice to hear from you, glad normal cycles have resumedSmile

I am feeling a million times better on my prescription drugs!! There are making me super drowsy, but I will swap all day pukey feeling for all day drowsy feeling any time!

KnitterNotTwitter · 18/03/2011 12:55

Hey

It's all good - saw lovely little bean. Just the right size and with a nice strong heartbeat. Obv. cried like a total fool with relief.

Welcome Izzy, Collie, and WIW - lovely to have you here...

FUCKING LAPTOP!!!!!!!! Apologies for the irrational outburst, it's a nightmare Angry

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 18/03/2011 13:19

Oh all right, I'll just give it a try... . Ooh it's quite comfy Grin

Hello all it's nice to have a reason to be here at last (although obviously it never stopped me lurking!).

knitter yay for good scan!!! Grin

Well I'm still feeling completely overwhelmed at the minute...it feels so surreal after all this time. I think I'll be better once that second line becomes visible darker, thank god for cb digis is all I can say!!!

I still have brown goo but this is usual for me in early pg, so I'm not going to panic unless I get pain or red blood. For me I think the real mentalling will start after the 12-wk scan if I get that far...(for those of you I don't know, my last baby died at 14 weeks and I found out at my 16-wk appointment Sad ) but for now I'm going to try to remain cautiously optimistic.
