Gin.... sigh....really fancy a G&T. DH makes a lovely one... Sigh...

Thought I'd go properly mental and POAS... Line VERY dark the instant my wee hit the right area :)

getawiggleon · 14/03/2011 16:26

AandR So very sorry to read your news. I hope you are being well looked after by DH and your lovely girls. I'm about to go through another mc this week (I only got bfp last weds) and feel terrible even though I only really had 48 hours to get used to the idea of feeling pg again. You've had much longer than me so I can only imagine how you are feeling. Huge hugs. xx

KnitterNotTwitter · 14/03/2011 16:27

owl lovely news :)

tunnock apparently squid slime is a wonderful deep conditioner - your hair is going to be as glossy as a freshly salon-ed springer spaniel tomorrow

onions love your zen-ness

KnitterNotTwitter · 14/03/2011 16:30

wiggle sorry to hear you think your going to MC again... is there any hope? FX there is....

KnitterNotTwitter · 14/03/2011 16:31

tunnocks exactly, prepare yourself to stride in a bouncy way around town tomorrow... stopping traffic to let small children cross and meeting your friends with equally inexplicably glorious hair.

owlbooty · 14/03/2011 16:38

Your beanbag in here is also reserved and being polished as we speak. I've surrounded it with cake as well. Beeeeg hugs & hope you are doing okay. x

hotnspicyonions · 14/03/2011 16:42

Aaaannnnnddddd back to RL, just nicked several large gulps of DP's Blackcurrant High Juice. Not a bad substitute?!?!? And have craving for savoury pie of some sort. Not got time or ingredients to whip one up so gonna go buy one. Any recommendations ladies?!

Owl lovely news on Owlet. Would you like a fan and some grapes whilst resting on the floor.... Hope you made it to a beanbag so you are comfy Grin

KnitterNotTwitter · 14/03/2011 16:43

onions - I like a nice chicken and mushroom pie personally... DH/DS prefer steak pies... Should we be avoiding kidney while pg?

hotnspicyonions · 14/03/2011 16:47

wiggle pants news :( RL can be so unfair.

OrangeGloss · 14/03/2011 16:51

Tunnocks I'm sorry I must have missed that :( I wish we could all have our own personal Doppler service to keep checking. Dh has banned me from buying one. I didn't mean to sound insensitive

Onions yes that does explain, but is still a fantastic outlook. Yes please to the smoothie Grin Actually DH has been amazed to see me enjoying mini Melton Mowbray pork pies, which I normally shun. Yum! Would recommend. That or a scotch egg :)

Wiggle so sorry you are going through this :( xxxxx

hotnspicyonions · 14/03/2011 16:54

Tunnocks am very Envy of your glossy locks. Will expect to see you on advertising boards across the nation with fab tresses and lovely bump!

Knitter I'm thinking chicken & mushroom too, yummeee with mash and gravy! I'm just wandering if you're having a fish supper with the big fat kipper that is thrust up your nose for POAS!!! At least you have got some reassurance from it, but oh so naughty!!! How many more have you got for these occasions??!!??

Again in my high and mightyness ignorant state I can honestly say I've only done 2!

Tunnocks definitely not! Shock
May have just sniffed the bottle Wink

OrangeGloss · 14/03/2011 18:02

Thanks Tunnocks :) I don't mind you asking anything, mine lasted for just under 3 weeks, which towards the end they scanned me and said they could see where the bleed had come from (implantation) and I shouldn't have any more They couldn't see it in a scan 2 weeks previous though Hmm I think after MC and then a scare like that it's only natural for you to be worried, but I hope it's some comfort that you have already bled a lot and bean was fine

I only did 1 POAS after my +ve but lost count of the ones I did before that!

Velvetcu · 14/03/2011 18:53

AandR so sorry to hear your news, and wiggle too :( I hope you are both being looked after.

owl congrats on the scan

You lot have talked sooooo much today! We are telling BIL tonight so that he knows that after Fridays scan he either a) has to move out so I can at least start to think about a nursery or b) has to stay out of my way while I have a breakdown.

We are wondering whether to cancel our Japan trip in light of recent events. I really dont want to but obviously cant risk radiation poisoning!

I want a stick to pee on!!!

Wiggle A&R so sorry. Wiggle, is there any hope?

Velvet where are you going in Japan? I must say I wouldn't go. I'd be too scared of radiation too. It is so tragic, I love Japan and the Japanese people I've met are so nice. Our friends there luckily live in Tokyo and were safe, we were able to contact them by email.

Owl congrats on the scan. Keep posting good posts to give us hope.

Onions love your attitude. I'm quite calm at the moment. Beginning to let myself look forward to a baby but I have to slap myself on the head to not get too excited. Having said that, I'm so nauseous all the time that that takes my mind of most other things.

KnitterNotTwitter · 14/03/2011 20:03

onions thanks for the kipper - truely deserved... I have about 25 in the drawer - internet cheepy ones. Actually I nearly made a huge error and used on of my ovulation sticks - obv. would have been no 2nd line and i'd've been on the floor sobbing my little heart out until someone turned up to point out that I'm a wally....

FWIW we had ravioli for dinner - might get fish for tomorrow :)

KnitterNotTwitter · 14/03/2011 20:06

Velvet to be honest I'd definitely NOT go to Japan right now... worries of further earthquakes and nuclear fallout would put me off.... Hideous tragedy though... can't stop watching all the footage

Velvetcu · 14/03/2011 20:18

our friends live in Tokyo but they have gone to Kobe to stay with friends for the week because they have been advised to.

KnitterNotTwitter · 14/03/2011 20:22

Velvet I think the foreign office is advising people not to go to Japan... I'm sure you could claim on IATA or travel insurance or something. You may even find that your airline isn't going to do the flight because of the risks....
