Evening! Sorry I've not been around - this is my brief chance to catch up between two sillily busy work weeks, but at least it's taking my mind off things. I've finally stopped with the brown goo - had a good 2 weeks of bleeding of one sort or another. Now not quite sure what's happening (need that window thingy - was it Pink who thought of it?) and have no date allocated for "12" week scan yet, so am in some strange sort of limbo, familiar to many of you, I'm sure..
Digi - I'm so so sorry this has happened to you again, and I hope you are finding the time to be kind to yourself and getting lots of TLC from those around you in the real world.
A&R - so sorry also that you are going through such a scary time - do you mind if I carry on with a little flame of hope for you? We've had someone else on here who has bled quite heavily, even with clots, and been okay in the end (think it was orange ?)... Fingers crossed for your scan that you get a lovely surprise, and if I'm being ridiculously overhopeful, I hope at least that things complete quickly and settle down so that we see you back here again before long.
Teacake - sorry you have had another scare - roll on your scan - was it this Weds or next Weds?
Hello to all the lovely new people - Katherine, Hils, Ali, Haffertee, Francesca, Ninunina, Mattsmama and a renewed hello to cep who has been a bit quiet recently! - and I hope you are all getting nicely settled in with your mentalling. For what it's worth, I can't offhand think of a single person on this thread who hasn't bled at some point, and we've had everything from pink and brown goo to red bleeding and clots, amongst those who are still to the best of our knowledge successfully pregnant. I'm starting to wonder if the true figure for bleeding in early pregnancy is nearer to 100%, and it's just 50% of people don't knicker-check...? Or maybe miscarriage does something strange to our uteruses (uteri?) to make them more susceptible to bleeding next time?
Velvet - good luck for your scan on Friday, and owl for you on Monday.
