weimy just spotted AF has got you! SorrySad

jaggythistle · 24/03/2011 18:43

:( sorry weimy

Scrummybumb · 24/03/2011 18:43

Blush Blush. I shall never show my face again....sorry....Blush what was it I said about not stressing too much....oh dear....no wonder my body won't release the eggs!

MrsSatsuma · 24/03/2011 19:10

sorry weimy :( If it's any consolation I'm there too... temp dropped over last two days so I'm fairly sure it's all over for the month. I'm a bit miffed because I still can't make head nor tail of my chart despite it now being the end of the cycle. Don't have a clue what it means! Any suggestions?

Scrummybumb Might you not have ov'd yet this month? It's still only mid way through.

bossy glad your tests results were good!

Scrummybumb · 24/03/2011 19:19

You're probably right, so will keep DH busy, but I haven't been feeling good this week. Been tired, low and emotional. Had to ask DH to make sure I wake up to take my temp, as was sleeping through the alarm! Could be virus, could be my body telling me to slow down. So, looking forward to the weekend.

I can't make the tale end of your chart either....Confused

Scrummybumb · 24/03/2011 19:22

And I clearly can't put simple words together today! Time to retire I think....Brain freeze!

weimy · 24/03/2011 19:22

Thanks girls!

I had my blue day the other day so am feeling positive about the next cycle.

mrssatsuma I'm not sure about your chart I get a huge dip at ov which usually looks like your cd24.

scrummy I agree maybe you've not ov'd, get SWI !!!!!

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 24/03/2011 20:04

Sorry weimy :(

CD12 now, and got a nice glob of EWCM (sorry) but I rarely get any decent CM so got quite excited!. Although, got a - on the OPK. Saying that though, I tested at about 6pm and have drank loads of water through the day!

Very early start for me in the morning, so I hoe that doesnt knock my temps out too much, we're at a crucial stage now!

HarderToKidnap · 24/03/2011 20:09

weimy, sorry about CD1. I get that brown stuff too for days and days before CD1 - so depressing!
G-d only knows what is happening with my ridculous chart now...

linky loo]]

Thinking I should still be SWI, but we are exhausted...

HarderToKidnap · 24/03/2011 20:09

Sorry, link

essenceofSES · 24/03/2011 20:43

Hello all!

Scrummy - yes, FF changed it's mind about my chart today and put ovulation at CD17. I'm hoping our limited SWI activity (DH away with work a lot at the moment) will give us a chance.
Oh and definitely keep DH busy for a few more days Grin

MrsSatsuma - I'm also a bit confused by your chart. If I was being hopeful, I'd suggest CD24 dip as an implantation dip but not so sure after your latest temp Hmm Hopefully you'll know for certain in the next few days.

weimy - sorry for AF but pleased you've moved on from the intial devastation (that I can relate to oh so well!)

jaggy - I'm like you in that I need to feel I'm doing everything I possibly can. Call me a control freak!

bossy - sounds like your appointment went pretty well. Very encouraging to have your doubts about whether you ovulated put to rest.

AuntieD - that's ridiculous about your blood test results!

newgold - I agree with the CD14 theory for your ovulation :)

essenceofSES · 24/03/2011 20:47

Harder - sorry for x-posts, it took me about an hour to do my last post as I was sorting out dinner as well!
Does FF suggest anything around ovulation for you? There doesn't seem to be a clear enough temperature shift. It is perfectly normal (if frustrating) to have a cycle ocassionally when you do not ovulate but looking at your SWI pattern, if you have ovulated, you're in with a very good chance!

IfAt - yay for gunky EWCM :) Hope your temp still gives you a good indication tomorrow. I know what's important is the pattern but there are some days more critical than others!

weimy · 24/03/2011 21:34

harder glad I'm not the only , thought I was weird! looking at your chart do you think day 13?

ifat I never notice any EWCM I'm very Envy Grin

Scrummybumb · 25/03/2011 07:35

Well my dear charter friends, you have officially been introduced to my baby-brain. Cos clearly I'm now pg, don't you agree?! So, looking forward to 9 months (and beyond) of stupidity Grin

scrummy I went to the doctors in Jan, got referred straight away though think that's because I had bleeding between periods, aches and pains and an odd looking cervix (cervical erosion). Overall it has taken 2 and a half months from gp - referral - tests - results. Now I have to wait for HSG but that has to be done in the first 10 days of your cycle and AF due soon. Will probably be the end of april/beginning of may before I see gyn again for results.

I am always up for the loo at least once a night but been waking every 1-2 hours which certainly isn't normal - may just be the stress of waiting for results - slept well last night anyway and got the highest temp on the whole of my dodgy chart Smile so hooray for good results!

Scrummybumb · 25/03/2011 12:18

bossy really glad to hear you slept well last night. Maybe see how it goes now that you have your results?
2,5 months doesn't seem that long, although my simple mind still says it should only take 2,5 weeks....let's hope AF doesn't turn up, so no need for ghastly sounding HSG test!

bossyboop · 25/03/2011 14:24

"well they just pinch your cervix and it hurts...! Confused though that was option 1 which enters in the obvious way. Option 2 was to have the same but to enter through a cut under the belly button and be asleep. Don't fancy that will be brave that day I am sure Hmm Pleased to see a sensible temp in my chart at least. It has worked out well really as af came within a few days of first appointment so could get straight on with day 4 test. If I had been on CD21 when I first saw gyn I could have had Day 21 test done there and then. So really from seeing gyn to getting results I only had enough time to complete 1 full chart!

Scrummybumb · 25/03/2011 16:14

That is good going...Not the pinching - the timing

weimy · 25/03/2011 16:15

scrummy My temps have never been that high!!!!!!

Bossy ow!!!!

MollyDefoe · 25/03/2011 16:17

Charters, can I ask you advice? Looking at my chart, do you think it's more likely that I ov'd on CD16 or CD20? I was a bit ill between CD16 and CD19, so I'm wondering if that delayed ovulation...I guess I'll find out soon enough if/when AF pays a visit, but I'm soooooo impatient!

jaggythistle · 25/03/2011 16:28

I would have said CD16 at first glance Molly, especially by CM pattern too.

Could it be a 'fallback rise' pattern?

Yeah, I am at work and should be doing something more productive again.

AuntieDoris · 25/03/2011 21:09

sulk still no results.

MollyDefoe · 25/03/2011 22:40

Thanks jaggy - that's really helpful! I bought TCOYF today too, which seems an excellent guide to charting. Having just read the introduction, I feel really angry that for years I've struggled with contraceptive methods that just didn't suit me at all (the combined pill gave me dreadful migraines for 9 years; the progesterone-only pill killed my libido; the mirena coil gave me severe painful cramping on a daily basis), and was repeatedly warned off the Fertility Awareness Method of contraception by GPs who seemed certain it "didn't work". But, now that I've been charting for around 2 months, I've realised it's actually dead easy, and it seems eminently sensible to me for women to properly get to know their own cycles of fertility - it clearly is a viable method of family planning, despite what various GPs have said. Sorry, rant over!

Newgolddream · 26/03/2011 08:02

Sorry weimy.

Ive now joined you, AF showed this morning so its onto CD1 and cycle 10. Sad

Scrummybumb · 26/03/2011 08:24

newgold sorry AF got you Sad. Let's hope with the illness out of the way, there'll be plenty SWI for you this month!

Molly I felt exactly the same way when I read the book. I've been ok on the 'milder' combined pill, but I still wished I'd known all that stuff beforehand. It is MY body after all.

auntied have a Brew on me. Sending lots of (((hugs))) too! You must be going mad by now. If ever there was a way we could make the results come quicker for you!

weimy my temps seem to be that high on LP, so can't read too much into it, but figured that if I can tell myself that I AM pg, then I can relax in the 2WW and avoid any symptom spotting. Let's see if it works.

Happy weekend to everyone
Hope you've all got nice plans to keep you busy Smile
