Harder I'm so sorry about the situation with your friend: that's really hard. I'm not at all experienced with this charting business, but perhaps you need to chart a few more temperatures over the coming days to see if there's a sustainable temperature shift? It may be that you ov'd on CD 20, but that your temps are just taking a little while to rise. My [http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/33debd chart] is confusing too this month, as - like yours - my temps went back down again after what I think was ov day on CD16, but now they've started to go consistently up again. Thanks Molly. Your chart looks great actually! I know I need to wait a few more days - but in all the other months I have been charting I have got a good and noticeable temp shift (if not EWCM). I had just kind of built up in my mind that this month I would have a perfect month, actually that became the goal rather than a BFP!

I am being totally stupid though, I do know that.

Harder look at my ridiculous chart and know you are not alone. Have you been sleeping well? I have been waking every 1-2 hours until last night when I got a good 5 hours sleep before I took my temp but it was 2 hours early.

bossy and harder I had a crazy chart last month and I'm not sure if I ovulated or not, I totally confused FF. In my manic googling, I found that it is totally normal to have the odd strange cycle. It's just that if we weren't charting we wouldn't know about it. I know it's hard but maybe if you wait and have a few more temps to put it in will all work itself out and become clear.

I know how rubbish you feel about your friend harder. I am in sort of the same situation, I have a friend who told me last month that she is ttc. She doesn't know we are because DH and I agreed not to tell anyone (and I'm pleased we didn't because it hasn't happened for us yet and I don't think I could bear all the questions). But I am now just waiting for her to tell me she's pregnant and I know it's silly but I think I'll feel so crushed to find out.

Harder - sorry for the situation with your friend. Really tough that she hadn't reciprocated your sharing of plans. I think I would have found that particularly tough.

twizzle - I agree that in RL, it seems that everyone gets pg at the drop of a hat but these threads help me to realise that it doesn't always happen that way and that some people may announce a pg ut don't necessarily tell you the heartache of how long it took to become pg.

bossy - hope the sleeping improves for you. That must be really tough.

weimy - are you still waiting for AF? Our bodies can be so cruel dragging this out but if you go past AF due date, it may be worth POAS

I was going to link to my chart but I can't see how to do it since FF changed. Can anyone help? I think I ovulated either yesterday or today so just entering 2ww.

This morning FF has given me crosshairs but I'm not sure I agree! (Why do I never agree?!) It has half of my temps pre-ovulation above the coverline! Surely my cover line should be higher? I guess there's not been a clear temp shift yet despite the other signs. I would have guessed that I'd ovulated either CD17 or CD18. What do you think?

Hello all, having a bit of a rough time here....just utterly fed up with the whole TTC thing from Sunday - queue tears, tantrums, sulking, the lot. Have tried to keep up with SWI, seen as it was THAT week, but just nt very enthusiastic about it. No EWCM this month and think I must have ov yesterday, but not feeling positive. Let's hope this passes soon.

Hi everyone - will take me a bit to catch up, Ive not been here in a week as my tonsilitis got really bad, felt like death lol, plus I never slept a wink for 3 nights - gave up temping obviously. Thats what I get for feeling fed up DH was ill and there would be no swi - and then I fell ill.

So I will catch up when home on everyones news, as for me there was only 1 swi - last Monday and no tempign for a bit so it goes without saying FF hasnt predicted ov though I know I have as I had a positive opk before I stopped temping plus my temps now are raised. Can I ask your opinions then as Im confused, normally is easy to see from FF when Ive ov.

Whens the best guess for ov?? Feel all quite down about it this month as I had great EWCM and obviously nowhere near the amoutn of swi I was planning.

Newgold I would say maybe cd14 if that was the last day of ewcm. Hope you are feeling better now.

I should be 10dpo now but chart looks anovulatory so no cross hairs and several episodes of ewcm means traffic light is still green. But I definitely have the end of cycle tiredness and had the metallic taste I get after ovulation. I don't think I am well suited to temping when I sleep so badly. Also end of cycle tingly boobs so im my mind I am going with the 10dpo and expect pre af spotting over the weekend. Doubt I will sleep any better tonight with results day looming tomorrow.

Anyone due to test soon?

Newgold based on the info you have given I would say day 14 too, providing that the EWCM stopped on that day.

CD11 here, so it's action stations in our household. Trying everyother day from CD8, and then a bit extra of CD14 & 15 for luck It worked the last time!

af still not here but temps dropped this morning so I would guess at tomorrow.

Oh bloody hell my blood tests are still not back. I had then done two weeks ago today... ridiculous!!

In other news, I had the most ridiculously large temp drop this morning. What's that about?

Well if FF is right I ovulated really early last cycle on day 11. I am on day 9 at the moment so I would be surprised if it was an ovulation dip.

Mine dropped yesterday too auntied but is back up today. As my DH keeps telling me when I obsess over my temp every morning, it's not individual temps that mean anything but the overall pattern.

Hello, im back! Everything was fine dh's sperm is fine tho a little slow but she thought that was down to the delay between it being produced and being checked. DH got it there within the hour but the time written on their sheet didn't tally up so dont know what happened to it once it was in the hospital I need to have day 21 taken again and I am being sent for a HSG apparently that involves pinching the cervix which hurts for 5 minutes

It was a different gyn to last time and this one said not to temp any more as its stressful and not that accurate, my charts indicated I didnt ovulate not even the first chart that was quite neat (as temp rise should be much more than it was)but the blood tests indicate I did ovulate.

Feck me. About half way through my 2ww and it seems soooo long!.

Am managing not to be tooo obsessive though.

Studiously ignoring any 'symptoms' which might occur and HPTs firmly stashed in the cupboard.

Chart with only one temperature taken at right time since Ov. Actually DH instead of DS keeping me up at least one night - DS acquired a nice cough and cold from his friends and shared it with us. Croak.

I thkn temping can be accurate having read TCOYF, but not infallible. Do you find it stressful?

I like to know what's going on and it feels like I am doing something. Even now when I am just sitting back and waiting!

Althogu I have convinced myself that there's less chance this month because I've been ill, my body will have been too busy to conceieve.

I enjoyed charting the first month - seeing a pattern that made me look normal! Really enjoyed TCOYF. I rarely sleep more than a couple of hours at a time so charting isn't going to be accurate for me. Think I will keep charting for a while though as I like it here!

bossy really glad to hear that it's all come back ok, although the HSG test sounds horrid. Let's hope it's not as bad as it sounds! Q: how long did it take from referral to tests? I'm wondering seen as I may have a visit to GP Coming up if we're not successful this month. Did you sleep better when you weren't tempting? If I'm honest, I was a bit more relaxed when all I did was OPK, but I'm glad I'm getting into the routine of tempting seen as it may show other signs. Like taggy it gives me a sense of control

auntied have you called the hospital direct? We had an issue with some results and bombarded the hospital as well as GP, which seemed to get things moving.

Me, whilst I thought I might have ov on CD11, I take that back. I try not to speculate too much, but with no EWCM, I think I'm left to dry this month Or simply having to wait. that'll be more SWI over here!
