For everyone who hoped that my DH would be upo for some action Monday night - well we did - but now its ME whos ill - badly, with tonsilitis. Ive not slept for 2 nights and spent it sitting dozing on the couch so pointless taking my temps. So annoyed as they hadnt risen yet, so will not know now if I have ov. Even if I havent Im not up to any swi anyway lol. So no swi = no pregnancy attempt this cycle bugger.

weimy sorry to hear about the job worries but I agree if the worst happens you?re bound to get updiffed!! Wow your temps are showing a lovely rise!! Looks like you timed the BD perfectly if you don?t mind me saying FX By the way I LOVED your tipsy post and agree SWI hair is truly fabulous

MrsDen I echo you, before we TTC I was convinced I was regular although I obviously paid little/no attention and was like ?oh look my period arrived!? but now I count days religiously and so notice any changes etc Saying that I have had months of 25 days anywhere up to 32 days long! Good job I buy internet cheapies to pee on!! Sorry AF got you after leading you a merry dance.

AuntieDoris Sorry AF got you too. How annoying about test results. Have you had any more news? I took EP oil capsules this month and have had 5 days of EWCM!! Normally, I only get 1 big show. So a huge success. I will continue until OV is confirmed by temps.

Scrummy I don?t mind the new look FF it?s pretty much the same, I agree with you about the difficulty of getting pregnant. As soon as we started trying, it felt like everyone and their dog got pregnant. Being on MN helps me realise that it?s not just me finding this stressful, challenging etc and balances the ?ohh we only had sechs once? etc comments that seem to surround me in RL. Glad you enjoyed your hols.

MrsSatsuma Hello! I track CM and the amount seems to vary massively! I even had lotion-like CM after OV all the way up to AF appearance which at the time convinced me I was updiffed. I wasn?t of course

Bossy good news about the exams and all being normal! I also take a while each morning to realise I?m awake before taking my temp. What do you mean TTC retirement? I have the Boots thermometer and I agree with Molly ?Lo? shows it?s ready to use.

NewGold I hope your DS birthday went well and he didn?t overdo the legally drinking thing . I agree about the annoyance of possibly missing a month, it seems worse than a BFN in a way.

Jaggy we?re in the same place cycle wise. SWI but am sooo tired, work is manic. It?s hard to summon the energy tbh. Do you remember the days when the sechs was just for fun? I was thinking about not temping after OV but not sure I?ll be able to back away from thermometer!

No more results. Phoned the GP today and the receptionist seemed to think the results had come down the line but the GP hadn't seen them. Can't phone tomorrow as it is only possible to get test results from 2-5pm and they close for training tomorrow afternoon. So, I have to wait until Friday. Just annoying!

I am mightily confused.... Here is my chart, which I don't quite understand! Have discounted two temps, one after I'd had wine the night before and the other after I'd woken up in middle of night and alarm went off two hours later. They don't seem to have affected ovulation date. Still I am confused, due to abundance of EWCM yesterday morning (ie 8dpo). Way more than there was when FF thought I'd ovulated! And why are my temps going up and down so much?! I'd cross-check it with cervix checking but feel stupid as I can't seem to reach it..... Help! (and don't laugh!)

twizzle, totally failed to summon the energy last night actually, was after 11 by the time i got ds settled and we're getting his cold now so a bit miserable.

temp still low so will make the effort today if possible!

auntied that sounds extremely annoying, hope they don't keep you waiting on Friday!

Mrs satsuma, i just started cervix checking last month so am not very expert, but have read all about it in TCOYF...

erm..what position are you in to do the checking? if you are in the recommended highly dignified squatting position that's apparently best. normally you'd expect it to be low again after ov so i see what you mean about it being odd that you can't find it!

am away to nose at your chart, can't multi task on my wee phone.

do you think it's possible that your body was going to ovulate but didn't? like a delayed ovulation thing.

i can't remember if this is your first chart or if you know what your temps are usually like after ovulation?

Good morning charters!

AF is almost on the way out so it's properly on with the next cycle now. I am going to try to be more relaxed this time . We are on holiday in what should be the 2ww so I'm hoping that will help take my mind off it.

mrssatsuma I agree it's not clear you have ovulated yet. I don't know what your temps are normally like post ovulation but your temps seem pretty low still. Keep SWI just in case. TTC is an exhausting business!

auntieD how annoying, waiting is awful. I hope you get your results soon.

twizzle, was sure I was ready to give up but today not so sure - such a rollercoaster

Ive come to the conclusion that temps on days 7,8 and 9 are wrong due to being awake for ages and not realising and maybe the 15 tog pjs and so really may have ovulated cd10 and today im having a 5dpo dip - last month was 4dpo dip. But no red cross for me boohoo!

Luckily the traffic light has now turned red so I can have a rest!

Thank you all for helpful comments! I've put my last chart on my homepage - unfortunately as I didn't know much about charting, I thought that as soon as my temperature dropped that was it so I stopped taking it! FF doesn't seem to think I ovulated the cycle before - I don't think I had enough data.

jaggythistle I have chart envy... yours seems so clear!

Am kicking myself for not doing all this research before we wanted to start TTC. Doh.

Stupid stupid pill!!!! I liked the convenience but I wish somebody had told me about the implications. Thought I had done all research - evidently I was wrong. :(

MrsS I think most of us are in the same boat about feeling we should have known most of this stuff by now, but somehow missed it! Teachers, take note - we must add to the curriculum for next generation....

On the 'Lo' thermo sign, it is correct when it says that, I.e. The room temp is low enough for you to temp. If it says 'hi' you won't be able to temp as the thermo won't be able to give you a correct reading.

Still puzzled why my temps seem so much higher than anyone else's.....DH of course is happy to have one 'hot' lady but I wonder whether it might have any impact....also just read about new starters on another thread here and realised I should have pressed for those pre-conception tests, rather than take my gp's advice: 'no tests needed until I actually fall pg, or have been unsuccessful for 6 months'

On a plus note a temp part time drama job has been advertised in the local paper and no sooner had I phoned for the application, then my cal phoned up to say the head had come to tell her that he wanted me to know that I wouldn't be replaced.:) Not sure about hours tho.

MrsSatsuma i never really thought how neat my charts are! you are right, even though i get mad up and down temps when my DS doesn't sleep well, the pattern is still there. maybe it's because I'm a scientist... i do love a spreadsheet. :)

expecting a temp rise either tomorrow or the next day, then i can look forward to crosshairs, woo!

not looking forward to 2ww, i know I've already resisted POAS for one out of 5 months but i suck at not symptom spotting!

Sorry I've not been around the last few days - just RL taking over

I'm on CD12 and awaiting ovulation. CBFM is still on low though so after early ovulation last month, it seems like it will be late this month! DH is away in Ireland for the rugby this weekend so not sure whether our timing will work

I'm just off to read through and catch up a bit....

On the new look FF it's on bottom right on your sharing setup page, under available charts.Select the date and then 'add chart'. By the way, I much prefer the new site!
