Hi. Flying in to let you know a message from Vjay. She's been in hospital waith Ajay since Monday night. He has a gastro infection and has had four drips. She hoped they'd get home today but he hasn't drunk enough so he's getting another drip tonight. Poor wee man and poor mummy Sad

Moon You'll be fine this month. It'll be hard but there'll be a proze waiting for you in nine months or so. I'm crossing my fingers that by the time you go to discuss results you'll already be up the duff.

QA So Angry for you that you don't get an early scan. There's no such thing as "only" 1 miscarriage. I know my head's still f*ed up two years and one very lively, beautiful girl later. Anyway, I digress, Curly always used to say the bean doesn't need a scan. It's true. You need it but your baby knows it's ok. Sending you some tried and tested sand to bury yourself.

Mermaid at eliop.

LBM Love Uncle washer too.

Gotta go. Sky+ and Gray's is calling. Don't you love, love, love the new series Blue?

Neeko · 03/03/2011 20:12

Blush Did not mean to put all that in bold Blush

bluesatinsash · 03/03/2011 20:15

Hey everyone,

Quickie from me and sorry for lack of personals. Just wanted to let you know that Vjay texted me earlier to say that Ajay has had gastroentarites Sad and has been in hospital since Sunday night Sad. They were hoping he would get home today but hasn't had enough fluids so on a drip for another night.

Poor wee scone Sad. She sounded OK but can imagine she has had an awful week.

Big {{{{{HUGS}}}}} Vjay

Will be back for catch up tomorrow. Work has been v. v busy so not managed to catch up this week, will clear a space in my diary as its Friday Smile

bluesatinsash · 03/03/2011 20:17

x-post neeko!!! Blardy typical.

Yes loving Grey's its my Friday night treat and just seeing it trailered makes me want to reach for a glass of wine Grin

mermaidspurse · 03/03/2011 20:32

ajay and cjay and mrajay abd vjay huggest hugs.

moon that's a lot of busyness - thinking of you masses.x

SabsFabulous · 03/03/2011 22:38

Get well soon ajay Hope you're OK too vjay

mermaidspurse · 04/03/2011 10:08

Grin Happy Birthday 4ever Have a lovely day have some Wine and hope you got some St Davids too.x

ajay drinkBrew so mummy can take you home home.x

loueytb3 · 04/03/2011 13:03

Big hugs to vjay - you've had a rotten week. Really hope poorly ajay is allowed home today and has a quick recovery.

Happy Birthday 4ever - hope you are having a lovely day. Very sunny and spring like here - lovely day for a birthday.

Mad here - been on an autism workshop this morning. Just doing lunch then need to take the boys to get their feet measured and then to their swimming lesson. And this is my day off!!

Will try and pop back in later.

bluesatinsash · 04/03/2011 14:06

Vjay - hope Ajay is re-hydrated enough to be taken home today. you deserve a huge glass of Wine tonight for getting through the week x

louey - how did book day go yesterday? Loved the DT's outfits Smile. My Isaac is off to nursery today dressed as Harry Potter clutching a dog eared copy of 'Philosopher's Stone' and a wand. Oooh, baby names... I could talk/discuss/flame them for ages. Did you see the thread on WTF spellings(i.e. Olivia was spelt Eylevea or something Hmm) just wrong on so many levels...

QA - pg weeks 4 to 12 are just the pits. All you can do is go with how your body feels... Are you experiencing the same feelings that you had with your DS? As for early scans it is appalling that some are walk in and some have to go private Angry. I had weekly ones from week 6 to 12 due to bleeding and my impending mental breakdown and still had to go to counselling to help me get through those first weeks. What I'm saying (get to the point!!) is I know where your head is at today, tomorrow and the next few weeks and am willing you a sticky bean xx

4ever - Happy Birthday!! I'm sure you have a full itinerary of fun planned for today as well as your first Mummy card Smile

mermaid - my St Davids are almost blooming! Trying to get a tree surgeon to remove rowan from back garden so I can expand the veg patch. How did the cross country run go? Were you suitably proud as punch, yes I thought so x

neeko t-minus 6 hours til Grey's Smile. Glad H is better and t-minus 3 weeks til doorstep milk Grin

moon - all systems go! Praying everything comes back fine or at least gives you some answers x

MLS is still out there, just busy putting piccies of her DD's on FB Smile.

Sabs - how has your week been? Up to lots of fun? Indulging in girlie programmes of an evening whilst your DH is away Grin?

monkey - fantastic to read you had a great holiday. When is your next appointment?

cupcake - where are we with your sister's wedding? Have you had the hen do? When's the big day again?

LBM - your house sounds manic but in a fabulous way Smile. How long now til Oz? Are you taking the DC's out of school?

Right better get back to work. All good here. Benjamin is just a joy and his vocabulary is amazing. Can't walk for toffee still but does a good stand holding on Smile.

We're off to St Andrews tomorrow as DH's parents have bought a brand new spanking caravan and we're away to inspect it. Lots of lovely weekends up there this spring/summer Smile.

Have a good weekend everyone x

barbie1 · 04/03/2011 15:35

Knock knock remember me?

It feels like ive been in hibernation for ages!

Right, lets get posting...

questions fab, fabby and fabulous news to come back too Grin i had a feeling there was going to be some good news to read and mysticbarbie was right, im sorry it took so long to find out, but a big belated congratulations from me.....

vjay here's me feeling all sorry for myself and Dolly after having a crappy week of illness and there is you stuck in a hospital with your poor wee man Sad i really do hope that he is on the mend now and you are both resting and taking it easy. Gastro is doing the rounds here, thought Dolly had it for a minute but it turns out its teething/ ear infection etc. Sending you lots of hugs...

4ever did i miss your birthday? Hmm i know its about now, i remember it from last year while i was in a post c section haze! Happy birthday to you Smile

moon ahhh, my lovely moon. I just wanna give you a great big hug! Things will get better soon, just get through this month and you will get some answers and hopefully a game plan and then you will be well on your way to becoming a mummy. For what its worth you are not a horrid person for being envious of your sis, a friend of mine has just announced her pregnancy and i feel the same way...i think its more do do with the fact they they havent had to struggle to conceive or the fact they dont have the worry and stress of having a mc, that they just sail through it all without a care in the world...you will love your sis baby when it comes along, because after all its your baby that you want and not her's and mysticbarbie predicts that you will be visiting her in the ward with your very own bump Wink take it easy girl, have my hand to hold for the next month or so....

monkey lovely to read about your holiday and that you and your dad shared lots of smiles and happy times Smile forgive me because i dont know where you are with your appointments and bit Blush sorry, but ive been trying to keep up just not very successfully....

lbm how are your friends finding the sandpit? its very warm out here, cant remember it being this hot so early in the year, when are you coming out? im so very Envy at your trip to oz....Dolly had chilled out a little now, she will sit and play with her dolls house for ages, in between climbing in the dogs bed and walking up the stairs Hmm Shock How heavy is babybelle our doctor has got us worrying about Dollies weight, she is 16lb. We have been told she isnt even on the chart Sad i keep explaining that she is very very active but he insists she should still be gaining weight quicker, We are having to force fed her pedistart, a flavored build up milk shake kind of thing which is a night mare because as you know she wont take a bottle or anything with is remotely little formula

Thats girls for giving me the giggles with your drunken talk Grin that night i was ill in bed and wanted to join in but was too poorly too type. buddha was it you that has ibs? can you tell me a little about it? I keep getting flu like symptoms, achy body, weakness and tummy cramps...not sure if that is ibs Hmm vjay did you say your dh gets it when he is stressed? might be why i had a flair up, dh sister was a pain in the ass when she was here, added to sorting the party, dollys weight issues etc etc might be the reason i have been under the weather.

neeko i cant believe there are only 5 weeks between the girls Shock i seemed like i was the only one giving birth about this time last year! How is h now? have you tried cows milk? are you still bf? will she take the bottle??? Im getting to the stage that i want to stop bf now, but i cant...im stuck in a rut Sad Have you any plans for h birthday, again forgive me if you have already said....

louey love the pics of the dt, very very cute! Are you going to put up a bump pic? How is the baby stuff sorting going?

Gosh im running out of time, but ill be back, i promise..... I hate being away for so long!

Loada love from me xxx

ps...please ignore all grammar and spellings from me, im very tired! Grin

littlebellsmum · 04/03/2011 22:32

v quick post as ever - I do lurk and wish I had more time. My current challenge it to try and not look at my blackberry all weekend ...

barbie think my friends are doing OK - keep hearing of how well school is going etc. We'll be out on April 1st, which is only 4 weeks away. I really do want to try and sneak away to see you and Dolly!! Babybelle is about 18lb now. And yes, Dolly might be light but she looks really healthy, doesn't she? My friend had twins and the little girl was and is smaller than the boy. She was on the 2nd %tile and they had to go to the paediatrician all the time but she ate really well, she's just tiny. I think you would know if there was something wrong with your child!

QA I recomend putting your head in a bucket of sand and repeating to yourself over and over again " no babies here, nothing to see here, everything is normal" and then you won't even think to worry about an 8 week scan and it will be 12 weeks before you know it Grin Well it worked for me and Iggy and I'm sure we can spare some sand!
I certainly have no need for it ever again!!

Vjay hope ajay is feeling better soon - poor little man and poor you. Having had a few days in the hospital last year with BB, you have all my sympathies, nice as the people are, you just want to get the tubes and monitors out and take them home.. Hope you are back home as I type

mermaid how did your boy do in his race? And yes, thank crunchie it's friday!

Blue yes, my house is manic!I was in Birmingham yesterday and wasn't going to be home untill the dc's had gone to bed. Had to phone to speak to DD to help her chose a present for one of her friends for a party she was going to straight from school as it needed wrapping last night. Left wrapped present and card for her to write out this morning, along with a set of party clothes for each child to choose from as they both had parties, oh and a bag to put the clothes in as they had to take them to school. I then had a meeting with our CEO, had to get the bus and train home ( while working), made tea, bathed baby, put her to bed and went to pick up dd1 and friend from party.... Just 24 hours in BabyBelles house!! And yes, for the first time, the kids are being taken out of school for 6 days - luckily, they don't miss anything that is important to them, ds has his class assembly on the last day and dd has a school trip 3 days before we go! The caravan sounds lovely - fingers crossed for lots of lovely sunny weekends!

The sun has been shining with us today and it's been just lovely - made me think spring is on its way. Particularly when a colleague in Madrid told me that it is snowing there!!

moon really good to hear that you are making progress, little steps towards your little one..

Got to go - only came on to do two things. Haven't done either but have had a lovely time catching up!!

littlebellsmum · 04/03/2011 22:34

Oh, and forgot to mention - we are going out tomorrow night and my friends teenagers are babysitting for my dc's. Very excited - especially as I managed to get into my tightest jeans tonight!! Very wierd as I've known the teenagers since they were babies and now they are my babysitters!!

VJay · 05/03/2011 08:43

Hello Smile, we are home, Ajay finally got discharged at 7pm last night, though we have open access to the hospital over the weekend if we need it, but so far he's eaten a slice of toast for his breakfast so I'm quite happy.
Thankyou for all your lovely kind thoughts Smile
Will be back soon to do a proper catch up, but for now I need to make my wee skinny ajay drink.

mermaidspurse · 05/03/2011 10:09

poor wee skinny ajay so gald you are home vjay have a truly lazy and indulgent weekend.

lbm I have only just got up and thanks to you an now feeling very tired just reading your post!

barbie I think you should put your hands over your ears and do a not listening dance. She looks comletely bursting with health to me. If she was poorly and really needed build up shakes you would have a pasty listless little girl.
I reckon dolly is just so constantly on the go, probably part of the reason she walked so early is because she is not carrying a lot of bulk.
One of my biggest hates is that percentile chart. They just can't shoehorn every child into the same box.
Mermaid climbs down off her soap box.

blue have a lovely time in St Andrews. Melt at ds speaking away, he looks such a character.

Ds did ok he came in at the shall we say farther end of the field... blimming tough though, just walking the course was hard and to even get there was an achievement. Anyone got enough bubblewrap to get me through the next 10 yearsGrin
Have good weekends everyone.x

loueytb3 · 05/03/2011 12:45

vjay so glad he is home with you. Its scary how quickly they lose weight when they are ill. Lots of feeding up for little Ajay and he will be back to his bonny self in no time.

mermaid sounds like your DS did well to get round!! Liking the sound of Lobbs. We are supposed to be coming down to Cornwall in early May so will be looking for ideas of things to do.

barbie as always, mermaid talks lots of sense. I think its time to throw away the charts TBH - she is clearly happy and healthy. How tall are you both because can make a difference to weight if she is not likely to be very tall anyway.

LBM you make me feel lazy!!! Hope you have a lovely night out tonight Smile

blue have a lovely break in St Andrews. Hope Isaac had fun dressing up. My boys were totally hyper (as were all the other kids). Yesterday they had a fire engine visit the nursery. Luke now wants to be a firefighter Hmm. Isaac managed to spray a fireman with water from the hose. Only my child could do that (although they must be expecting it if they are giving a working hose to a small child).

neeko and blue no greys spoilers please. I'm an episode or two behind but LOVING the new series.

The boys were hell yesterday afternoon after all that excitement and I totally lost the plot. Took them swimming and Isaac managed to turn the shower on himself, after he got dressesd. I managed to pull the button off while I was frantically trying to turn it off!!! Feel a bit calmer today thank god! Better go, lunchtime Grin

barbie1 · 06/03/2011 11:49

Ello again...

vjay im glad the wee man is home, all be it a little skinner...fingers crossed you dont need to go back there for a very, very long time. Hope you are both catching up with your sleep and resting.

mermaid and louey of course you are both right, the doctor can take a long run and jump! Dolly is small, end of....she is bright, gorgeous, alert and happy, all be it in a tiny package, all 16 lb of it Wink i have decided to stop breast feeding though, im getting to the stage where i have had enough of being used as a snack and would rather she concentrated on eating bigger meals then tiny bites here and there...so the next step is operation cold turkey....starting next week when she is better Hmm

We had the 1 year injections yesterday, god what i mine field that is, i googled, researched and googled some more and in the end we ended up having the combined vaccination, its all done slightly different here so i dont think its the same combination as the uk one? Confused anyway apart from refusing her sleep this morning she seems ok and went off to nursery quiet happy Smile

Its her first official week in nursery, having gone 3 days last week for an hour at a time today is the first day she is doing the 3 hours, yikes....i did cry the first time i left her...but today i skipped away happy at the prospect of spending 3 hours on the beach with a book, only to come outside to face low lying cloud and a slight sandstorm Angry, so instead i have cleaned the car, did a food shop and mopped the villa...there is always tuesday Wink

louey i did lol at your boy spraying the fireman, would of loved to see the look on his face Grin oh and i love your first purchase for the new baby Smile did you find out the sex? i cant remember, sorry Blush

I also had my first big night out in my absence from the thread, i dont know how blue does it Grin i stayed out til 2am, wore high, high heels and had big hair, fake tan and a barbie coloured lip gloss, for a minute i felt 21 again, until my boobs started filling and 10pm hit and i was ready for bed Grin I did do the moon walk, and a rendition of puff the magic dragon, whilst trying to smoke shisha for the first time, only for the smoke to come out of my nose and me and up choking, much to the amusement of my fellow mummies and daddies! Dolly was her usual charming self at 5am in the morning, meaning only 2.5 hours sleep and a hangover from hell.....all to be repeated sometime soon i hope Grin

Wave to everyone and hope you are having a good weekend, love to mermaids little man for doing us all proud and competing in the tough race x

loueytb3 · 06/03/2011 12:18

barbie Sounds like a good night!! Grin at puff the magic dragon - you're a braver woman than me! I don't think I would have tried it. sabs is the expert I think! Its funny, 2am doesn't seem that bad until you get woken up at the crack of dawn Hmm. It does make you feel like a person again though, rather than a mum IYKWIM.

Like LBM we were supposed to be out last night but DH has come down with Isaac's cold and has lost his sense of smell/taste so we cancelled the babysitter. Hopefully we will be out next Sat instead.

Picked up my spanking new super glam Isabella Oliver dress from the post office yesterday for a bash in May. Am v pleased with it, not least because it was almost half price! Also bought my first baby thing (some sleepsuits and hats) as this LO needs a new outfit to come home from the hospital in. Not finding out the sex barbie so its a funky neutral set.

Right, better go, Roast Beef and yorkshire puds almost ready for lunch. Yum for us, who knows how much DTs will eat Confused, tis always a battle!

barbie1 · 06/03/2011 12:25

Envy roast beef....yum!

VJay · 07/03/2011 13:32

It's quiet in here today, are we all being busy bees???

loueytb3 · 07/03/2011 13:36

Hi vjay I'm sort of being a busy bee. Working whilst watching a dress on ebay which I want to buy. How is ajay doing?

I hate Monday mornings, its always such a mad panic and I end up shouting at one/both of them because they won't get dressed/put shoes on....

At least the sun is shining though Smile

Ordered this last night for DTs birthday. Hope it isn't a nightmare to put together!

VJay · 07/03/2011 13:46

Hi louey that sand pit looks brilliant fun, the dt's will LOVE it Smile.

Ajay is so much better now Smile, he's running me ragged, which can only be a good thing.

I still end up shouting at Cjay most mornings, he just doesn't seem to get the urgency Hmm

Sun is shining up here too Smile

loueytb3 · 07/03/2011 13:49

Hope so vjay, I just know the air will be blue when we come to put it together (from DH not me, he's crap at DIY). So glad ajay's on the mend.

barbie1 · 07/03/2011 15:26

Hi girls Smile

Loving that sandpit louey dolly would love that!

Im glad ajay is better now vjay...lets hope he stays that way.

Well Dolly has gone from having zero appetite to eating loads and loads today Hmm i just hope she sleeps and isnt up with a tummy ache all night long....Her 5th tooth is just breaking through, the last 3 nights we have gone back to co-sleeping and waking regularly, feels like we have taken a giant leap backwards

loueytb3 · 07/03/2011 15:42

barbie don't panic, her sleep has gone to pot because she is teething. I always found that as soon as you could feel the tooth breaking through it got better again. Luke was a shocking teether, you have my sympathies.

barbie1 · 07/03/2011 15:57

just as i hoped louey, thanks Smile i think its a combination of teething which has caused an inner ear infection, which in turn the antibiotics for this has given her thrush, poor little thing. I cant believe this used to be the routine everynight, waking up 3 times is killing me!...
