This is the place to be for all those wanting to TTC after miscarriage, or have plans on TTC in the relatively near future. This thread is full of support from people who have been there and no how you are feeling so jump on board and share the Wine and chocolate (or water and celery for those of you off alcohol and caffeine Wink)

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Ask any questions that have been niggling you or that you are concerned about, perhaps someone here has experienced the same in the past.

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length

vegasmum i'm so sorry to hear you mc'd. we were talking on the oct bus. it's completely up to you what you want to do. i assume you've stopped bleeding now? Dr's tend to suggest waiting till first af, but that's usually for dating purposes, as long as you're mentally and emotionally ready then you can start ttc. Have a read of what i've attached. feel free to come on and rant or worry as you need to, the ladies on here have helped me tremedously over the last few months.

hi all, thank you for the nice welcome ladies! have got myself onto a proper computer so can read messages and reply properly.

i've been in a bit of two minds about whether to bother trying this cycle as have just wasted a fortune poas and stressing about whether i'm ovulating (not convinced that I have been due to the lack of EWCM which I used to get plenty off pre MC)

vegas sorry to hear about your MC. I remember you from the oct bus :( the nurse told me I could try again as soon as I stopped bleeding so up to you really. See how you feel.

Hello vagas sorry for your loss. I second everything Chloe said regarding ttc again as long as you feel emotionally ready. We call the cycle straight after mc the WTF (what the f*ck) cycle as its really very hard to know whats going on, but there are a couple of lovely ladies on here ttc during their wtf cycle and swi regulary.

Cep thanks for looking at my chart. I did think about it being a pre ovulation dip, but it seemed a bit late, and also not a big enough dip. But i have been looking at the chart gallery on ff and some of them don't have much of a dip either. I've also had a bit of a tinker and if my temps go up tomorrow it puts my ov at monday and if it goes up again it changes to today.

I've also peed on 3 opk sticks today already Blush (re-read instructions and says no liquid for 2 hours which is more managable) but still all
-ive. I think i assumed because they worked last time, they would this time. I think i was having a bit of a wobble this morning. Like i said, i am realising i am a major control freak, but thanks for putting up with me x

I have also ordered some preseed, just waiting for it to arrive.

I don't know about anybody else but i like the CD on the list. I know where i am but its good to reflect where others are in their cycle. But if its a pain to update, i don't mind. cep are you still happy to be in charge of the list? Especially now you are updiffed?? Grin

chloe hiya, i was at work this morning. i do mornings tues-fri. then decided as the sun was out for a change to take ds to the park. Although there wa actually a really cold breeze. i asked my gp once if it was just for the dating and she said yes, there was no reason to not start as soon as i felt ready to.

sorry iggly and collie just realised i xposted with you guys. shows me not to take laptop into kitchen to read whilst doing dinner. Grin

collie i used to fiddle with it all the time, so don't be embarrased about it. (ff that it) it's completely normal to wobble so again don't worry that's what we're all here for, to have the support and answers (when possible) when we do wobble. Smile remember when the pseed gets there try a little amount first. ooh i like that you want to keep the dates on but want me to do it. Shock Wink honestly i don't mind but if i do forget someone may have to step in occasionally. Grin

vegas i'm doing good at the moment. i don't know if you read before but i got my bfp last week, so panicking over every ache and pain at the moment. You will be all over the place hon, and don't expect more of yourself than you can do at the moment. Don't feel guilty for feeling jealous of other pg announcements or actively avoiding people who are, it is something that almost everyone on here has done/is doing at some point. how is your other half??

Hi Vegas, sorry you have to be here but welcome. I mc a few days before you, I had a follow up scan on mon and chatted to the nurse after, she said (without me even asking, I guess they get this all the time!) that we could start trying straight away. I stopped bleeding last week and had a neg test yesterday. I was going to wait till af before speaking to the nurse, but we got going again last night! I think we'll try every other night until af arrives (of course I'm hoping it won't!). I'm not using opks thus month, I'm not sure they would change the plan tbh.

cep we had a lovely walk in the park too, so nice to finally get out into some sunshine! No running for me!

lily your journey this far sounds awful ((hugs)) I agree with you about the "it's either give up or carry on" I've been at the give up stage so many times Sad then don't know what happens but I carry on. Ladies it's not brave, just life! Smile

Collie have a Wine this eve if it's not o/v day and chill out!! You deserve it after that run Grin

Iggly if you've stopped bleeding and got a -ve then it's up to you, just make sure you're mentally ready! Smile

Back on my phone so can't do the stats list. They are TTC#2, UCL 29-31 CD 8.
I'm feeling quite randy Blush so will have some fun this week. I've noticed the last two cycles as soon as AF stops, I'm like this [tmi] but it goes after a week or so. Very weird.

cep x post - ikwym about vicious posts, some of them really make me smile tho (eg. Aibu to expect my fil to shut the door when he has a shower?) altho I was really insulted by the lady criticising people who have c sections, so smug!

mels i missed your comment about the aibu thread, just gone back. I don't really lurk there much although did a while back and thought it was scary how angry and aggressive people got. I spend enough time on here, so i daren't lurk anywhere else. Smile

blackkat i think a glass of Wine is an excellent idea, but just a small one, i'm off to the big smoke at the weekend to celebrate an engagement so i am saving up my Wine allowance.....it does work like that, doesn't it? Confused Hmm

I'm on my phone, next time someone updates the list could they put me on ucl 28 days, I'm thinking maybe cd 11? As i bled for one week longer than af, im thinking on sun i'd kind of be in the same place hormonally as at the end of af. I'm just totally guessing here but not sure how to work it out tbh!

iggly apparently feeling horny is normal, it's natures way of helping with the ttc process. Have to admit i rarely feel horny anymore. since ds and putting a billion stone on i just don't have the energy. Grin

My boobs are sensitive today............really fighting the urge to test after all could just be AF turning up although i hope not :)
