This is the place to be for all those wanting to TTC after miscarriage, or have plans on TTC in the relatively near future. This thread is full of support from people who have been there and no how you are feeling so jump on board and share the Wine and chocolate (or water and celery for those of you off alcohol and caffeine Wink)

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Ask any questions that have been niggling you or that you are concerned about, perhaps someone here has experienced the same in the past.

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length

Good luck to all - here's hoping for lots of healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread

This is the old thread ref:

Am lying low over here. I am fairly certain af will turn up today ... boob prodding in full action just in case!

Collie2 · 17/02/2011 07:16

Hi all here's my Ovulation Chart click on it if you want to ' be friends' Smile also my chart is all
over the place again so any views would be good. I'm doing really well at remembering, I do it as soon as I wake up and don't move, it's popped under my pillow so don't know why it's so variable. Does everyone take their temp at EXACTLY the same time every day? Does 30 mins make a difference? I woke up at 6 yest and 6.30 today. Also.... Last ff question, if you drink or exercise do you put that in on the day you did it or the day it would effect the Reading? Ie I exercised last night so does that go down on today's info or yesterdays? God it's such a bloody pain!!

Right, better go I'm late now trying to figure our ff!! In training today.

cep · 17/02/2011 07:43

morning all, Missed a lot last night.

blackkat i remember it but it's been a very long time since i've watched it.

mel so sorry about your dd leg. Just what you didn't need. fx that's it with the bad luck now.

ninu glad you're ok. it honestly does seem to be more of making sure the dates are correct. But i think they're also concerned about making sure mentally and emotionally you're ready, but only you can tell that.

lily fx with the tablets

collie mine are 1000 so obviously i only take one.

mamap thanks for the fish. hope you're ok over there.

aandr fx for you.

Well another really high temp for me this morning, ff changed my ov date cause i've had 3 really high ones again, but as i've had a sore throat and achey head for last 3 days am sure it's illness and nothing else so i overrode it. Hmm Stomach is still aching a bit which is annoying.

mine

cep · 17/02/2011 07:48

collie your link didn't work hon, clic on it and press add chart? I had a look via friends and it is all over the place. mine isn't the same time every day i try within half an hour, that doesn't tend to make much difference. I always put it on the next day so i was drinking last night put it on todays specs (although have actualy forgotten to) will do later am late now. see you all later

Collie2 · 17/02/2011 08:58

Thanks cep I've been putting it in the day after too but wasn't sure if that was right. Here goes with the link again try this hope that works, also my temps are really high at 97.9 today!

Mamapower · 17/02/2011 12:30

Thought you might like it Smile

Doing well thanks cep taking each day as it comes Smile

MumTumWanted · 17/02/2011 12:34

Hey to all, quick post as running out of lunch hour....

Signed up for FF and just need to get to grips with it.... then imay well be stalking your charts to try and learn what the bloody hell i am doing with it !! lol

ninu i know how you feel i felt strongly about waiting for first af before ttc again but it feels like ive been waiting forever, hence the approach of SFF with no contraception and if it happens so be it... ( though i am obviously now charting and peeing on OPKs like there is no tomorrow in the hope that i would be able to assist the GP in dating the preg if i am lucky enough to get a BFP! ) Have got myself all hyped up as temp has remained consistant for 2 days . Sad isnt it !

olismum23 · 17/02/2011 13:09

Morning all!

After reading all your posts i am left wondering if i am not doing enough our doing all the wrong things?

I am not charting taking temps or opks should i ?
I am drinking wine and coffee and eating everything as i like to do lol i wonder if i need to change, i really want to get preg again thus the ttc straight after bleeding has finished??

Sorry its a bit of a me me me postConfused

maybebabyR · 17/02/2011 13:11

Hi oli

I am doing all the same things as you!

I don't now whether this is right or wrong either, but am going to give it a while to see how it goes first Smile

Collie2 · 17/02/2011 13:16

Oil there is no right or wrong. I got pg before mc without temping or the million of suppliments I am now taking and I was drinking ( until bfp) but doing all this extra stuff is my coping mechanism, as I feel I'm raking control ....as much as I can. If your coping mechanism is to not to temp etc I think that's very healthy. Do what's right for you! Xx

MumTumWanted · 17/02/2011 13:20

oils and maybe i applaud your will power in not POAS with the OPKs i currently seem obsessed with it ( though partially cos ive not got a clue where i am in the cycle...)and tell myself if i do not get BFP this month i will no longer POAS fo OPK purposes....

I also eat what i like, drink what i like, do no exercise (struggle to remember to take folic acid and simply can not bring myself to drink grapefruit juice) and have only been taking my temp for 5 days so have no idea what the charting is all about... Nothing has changed in my behaviour / eating patterns from when My DD was conceived (11 years ago) - a complete accident and i didnt find out i was updiffed until i was 12 weeks gone...With My MC in Dec i was lucky enough to concieve the first month of trying (still no modified eating / behaviour/ charting etc), though it ended badly, therefore i am absolutely no authority on this TTC behaviour and am simply rolling with it, giving in to my obssessive thoughts as and when they occur. Though this is by far no advise it is simply what i am doing.... (in fact it was until stalking joining MN that even new there were so many ways to assist TTC!!!

MumTumWanted · 17/02/2011 13:21

xpost hi collie sound advise thats kinda what i was trying to get at....but you said it much more directly!

olismum23 · 17/02/2011 13:22

Thanks girls

I suppose i am doing somethings taking supplements and having sff a lot lol
but i am taking it easy i have too i get stressed quick very quick

Brew
cep · 17/02/2011 14:05

afternoon all.

oli as collie and mumtum said it's what you feel best doing. I only do it for a couple of reasons firstly cause my cycles are all over the place and i feel like i need to be doing something to keep track of it all. and secondly my dh has instilled a time limit on getting pg, if not by sept then we stop trying Sad so i need to be doing all i can to try within that period. it's certainly not stopped me drinking and eating what i want. (infact i was sat with glass of wine in hand talking of implantation bleed last night.)

collie you need to mark it on the day it may have effected your temp so drinking last night may have effected my temp this morning so i put it on todays info.

mumtum are you 334759? have you put any info in it yet? it won't let me in yet. Ask away us ff'ers will do our best to answer. Grin

Hello to everyone else.

OK. The temptation to POAS is becoming annoying. Especially when they are 2 for 1 in boots.

Anybody around with a fish??

Mamapower · 17/02/2011 14:27

Hey all,

Just noticed that recent graduates have vanished off the list... perhaps an accident but can you reinstate please... that list is equally as important as those on the ttc as it's the ones who have been here, got the T-shirt and survived... thanks.

cep · 17/02/2011 14:40

Sorry mamap is definately an accident, the whole cutting and pasteing thing. Blush will go back to try and find them.

maybe < just cause you asked. Grin how long ago did your bleeding stop.

maybebabyR · 17/02/2011 14:45

Haha, thanks cep

Well,l it's a bit confusing. My MC bleeding stopped on 30th december, and we weren't sure whether we were going to try again straight away, so doc said i could start my pill again.

We decided we would try, and i finished my pack, and my withdrawal bleed stated on 23rd jan and finished on 26th. Confused

Sorry just hadn't scrolled down far enough when highlighting. am on laptop with touchpad thing no mouse. Sorry for any upset caused.

maybe i'm not sure obviously if the pill would have changed anything, but if you count 23rd as an af then you would be on cd26, how long is your cycle normally? for you're own piece of mind might be worth waiting till your normal cycle length and if still not started maybe do a hpk.

Chloe55 · 17/02/2011 15:00

Afternoon ladies, just a quickie as I have the dreaded dentist Confused Anyway, just to let you know I survived my first meeting with my cousin's baby. She is beautiful. I did cry but it was because my cousin was very emotional which set me off, not because I was Envy which I was concerned about. Anyway, hopefully will be back later to acknowledge other people Wink

OP posts:
cep · 17/02/2011 15:02

chloe hey i have my d appointment at the end of the month Sad. Glad visit went well but why were you concerned about not being Envy??

maybebabyR · 17/02/2011 15:06

I'm normally a 28 day cycle, so really should wait a few more days. I think the not knowing is what is doing my head in!
