Jump on if you are a TTCer hoping that this cycle is 'the one' and will result in a sprog or sprogette due in November.

Welcoming season ticket holders and new passengers.

Hey karbea sorry about AF forcing you to change buses...welcome to this one...at least you have pretty short cycles! I also always used to be a regular 29 days but last month was 35 Sad just to confuse me!! I'm wondering whether the tension of wondering if you're PG actually delays AF arriving on time! I remember once a couple of years ago when I thought I might be PG as AF was late but literally as I saw the BFN appear on the test AF started Blush! Bizarre how our bodies work sometimes!

CD11 today, SWI this morning but was a close call as neither of us were really up for it as at 6:30am sleep seemed a v good option...working shifts does not help SWI plans!! Angry

seven really hope packing goes well!

DoFliesHaveKnees · 08/02/2011 13:14

Hah! Just re-read my last post and would like to clarify it isn't a pot of my DH's wee we are away to hand in today Grin

Hope everyone's SWI plans are going ok. I also wondered if the fact you are taking notice of your cycle days makes them chop and change, but I'm probably being paranoid!

I'm going to join Weight Watchers this week as I don't think me being overweight is doing the ttc plan any favours!

BlueCrane · 08/02/2011 13:51

doflies I had presumed it wasn't wee Wink! Hope all went ok and you do actually get to talk to someone, though I guess the analysis isn't instantaneous.

Does anyone else go dizzy and lightheaded around the time their due to ovulate? I'm CD11 today and been feeling v dizzy on and off yesterday and today...Confused...don't remember that before! Maybe it's just part of my being more aware of my body and reading ito everything now that we're TTCing! Grin

amummyinwaiting · 08/02/2011 18:26

well ladies,
I'm the first to leave you all. Started my period today. Absoloutly distraught as only 14days. Feel sick and tired of this as really thought that my cycles had sorted themselves out but 14days is shit....completly fed up.
Good luck to you all.

BlueCrane · 08/02/2011 18:37

amummy I'm so sorry Sad. Have you been to the docs to explain how your cycles have been since you came off the injection? Do you know if you've been ovulating as there can't be much time in a short cycle? Sounds like it's worth a chat with the docs before you drive yourself too crazy each month! Really hope it all works out for you Smile

thinkingpositive · 08/02/2011 18:59

Hi ladies....
Count me in!!!!

Not sure how this works so tell me if im right??

Thinkingpositive TTC #1 (even though i have experience 1 mmc) Cycle 1 (First period since ERPC) CD (not sure what this is?) UCL 30 (this is age correct?) AF FEB 6th (cycle starts??)
Wich this means if we concieve my delivery date will be 6th of November 11.

Is that all correct? Sorry new to this...

level · 08/02/2011 19:33

thinking positive:
CD = Cycle Day. I think this info is pointless as it changes every day and the thread can't keep up.
UCL = Usual Cycle Length - e.g mine is around 32 days
AF = Aunt Flo - the first day of red bleeding (i.e not spotting).

cep · 08/02/2011 20:28

evening all. nothing much happening with me, trying to dtd as often as dh can cope.

amummy how long since you came off the injection?? a short cycle if oving then short lp could be a sign of low hormones. If this has been persistantly short i would definately see your dr. Have you been keeping track? on fertility friend as an example.

ghosteditor · 08/02/2011 22:05

amummy that's really rubbish for you, aside from even TTC, just going through AF again so quickly. Have a virtual hot water bottle and cup of tea from me.

Definitely AF, yes?

It just goes to show how tenuous it all is - my periods have always been crazily regular (even before going on the pill) and only since sort of starting to conceive (several months after coming off the pill) have they suddenly started to vary. I guess you can argue that most people only pay attention when TTC but I've always kept an eye on AF and have diary dates to prove it!

Sorry hon Sad

lucyintheskywithdinos · 09/02/2011 08:05

Amummy, so sorry you're leaving us.

Started cervix checking today (CD 6), still trying not to count down days before I'm fertile. The tww I am fine with, but I find waiting to be fertile realllllllly irritating! Found myself telling DH last night that the due date will be great being the middle of November as he'll have two weeks paternity, then 3 weeks work, then 2 weeks off at Christmas. Other DDs have spring and summer birthdays so I'm prematurely excited about warm snuggly winter babies!

Karbea · 09/02/2011 09:05

ghost I'm the same I've been tracking for the last 18months, I had a one off 12 month cycle and was worried, so thought I'd keep an eye on my cycles. Initially every other cycle was longer, so something like 23, 26,24,27.... But after a while I was regularly 24 days. Was so accurate it was like being on the pill. I'm wondering if I'm going back to have one longer, one shorter again as my cycle is very different every other month (1 has lots of symptoms, sore boobs etc, the other none)???

Mind you this af I've had the worst period pain I have ever had!

MumTumWanted · 09/02/2011 13:10

Hi can i jump on board,

Hoping to try to start TTC this month but am somewhat confused... MC over christmas and finally got my first AF this morning, Whats odd is i POAS and came up positive for LH surge only last friday ... any ideas anyone ? Im usually a 28 dayer....

ghosteditor · 09/02/2011 18:48

karbea good to hear it's not just me, that's a strange pattern, isn't it!

I don't know all that many women in RL who've been pregnant (at least, not that I can ask about it), but of the few I do know, some have had AF for the first few months of pregnancies. How crazy is that? The one thing that is supposed to be the actual sign of pregnancy and not everyone gets it!! Of course, this way madness leads. But thus the reason for thinking internet cheapies may be the way forward...

mumtum, welcome to the thread, front seat is free, but sorry to hear about your mc. Don't know much about LH or charting etc so 'fraid I can't help.

weimy · 09/02/2011 20:56

hi mumtum could be a wtf cycle with a short luteal phase? The Charters anon thread might be able to help there?

Cd 13 here, big temp dip this morning so we will see what tomorrow brings. Plan to jump on DH as soon as he gets in.Blush

BlueCrane · 10/02/2011 08:18

CD15 here...been trying to EWCM spot but this is first month of that so not totally sure my observations are correct...SWI on tuesday and supposedly today as well but DH sooo stressed out at the moment that I'm not sure that we'll get very far this evening Sad....or tomorrow, or Saturday as he's on a course and leaving the house around 6am and not back til 9pm...by which point he'll be shattered! Oh well...just got to hope that when we do manage to SWI it's on time, or try to be patient and wait til next month! Smile

seven hope that packing's going well
weimy hope you have a good day Wink
mumtum afraid I'm not any use with charting or temping either I'm afraid!

Have a good day all!!

goingmadtrying · 10/02/2011 08:24

doflieshaveknees I joined ww and then concieved straight away with ds2 I'm considering joining slimming world see if I get the same luck Grin

MumTumWanted · 10/02/2011 10:27

ghost editor and bluecrane thank you anyway Wine for your taking the time to reply...just thought it may be worth putting out there,

im of half a mind to not worry to much this month and just SWI whenever we feel like it, im so dubious that my levels werent right after coming off the pill and TTC and that may be reason for my MC at xmas...worried that thay may not still be right, ( ive read that on cerazette mini pill it can affect your progeterone production and that was the pill i was on) Maybe chilling out about it will help out but was never warned of this by the gp Angry..
My worry is that we are due to get married next april in the carribean :)so i really only have the next 3 cycles to fall or we will have to wait til after the wedding >

BlueCrane · 10/02/2011 12:19

mumtum a lot of my friends took quite a while trying (as well as those irritating ones who thought they'd see what happenned and got it first time!!) anyway, several found that it all finally came together when they'd decided to go on hols and just SWI when they felt like it and totally relaxed about the whole thing! I def think that when we're tense and stressed it must make a difference to our bodies.

Imps7 · 10/02/2011 17:22

Nearly missed the bus but better late than never - are there any seats free or is it standing room only now? I know - I'll leap into the baggage rack.

I'm a first time frolicker and these are my stats:

TTC#1 Cycle 2 UCL 35 CD 25

Having had all manner of symptoms last month I have pretty much nothing this month - a twinge here and there, and maybe a sore boob if I prod hard enough.

No idea when I OVd (not really up on these things yet) but I think it was Saturday just gone...or Sunday...or the previous Tuesday.

On average, how many BFPs are there per bus journey would you say?

Collie2 · 10/02/2011 17:48

Hi all! Can I climb aboard? I've been desperate to jump on for a week or so but been impatiently patiently waiting for AF after mc over Christmas. It finally came on Tuesday so am all systems go! November is my last chance to have a 2011 baby as have a looooonnnnnggg cycle so I'll be putting in extra effort to swi!

My Nov baby would be due on the 15th, just 3 days after my own birthday! Smile ..... I know I soooo belong on the 'questionable ttc behaviour' thread! Grin

cep · 10/02/2011 18:18

Evening all,

hello newbies

not sure if ov'd or not, tomorrow's temp will be the deciding factor. just in case hopefully dtd tonight, finally detected ewcm, but think that's cause i was testing with 1 finger and it wasn't enough this month. Still no positive opk but that's no different to ever before, i've never had a positive with one of those things will definately not be buying anymore after i've finished these.

DoFliesHaveKnees · 10/02/2011 18:59

goingmadtrying that would be typical since I have forked out £30 for the ww online thingGrin I lost 1.5st jsut before I fell with our dd so there is maybe something in it!

LILI80 · 10/02/2011 19:01

Hi Ladies

Mind if I also join!

My stats are TTC#2 ULC 34 days. Just got my AF after MC in December.

Really want to get pg as tired of now being the 'only one' in my group of friends who isn't expecting a baby this year! Shock

I'm determined not to test until 13th March - god I'm going to have to have nerves of steel!!

Good luck to everyone

lucyintheskywithdinos · 10/02/2011 19:01

The questionable behaviour thread made me realise that the reason I've been having lots of hot baths (erm, every day, in addition to morning shower) is that I'm hoping to have reason to avoid them! Anyway, aside from realising my own insanity still bored waiting for EWCM probably at the end of next week.

Thinking11 · 10/02/2011 19:09

Hi is there room for one more?

Im TTC #1 and apart from trying fro 'accidents' in the past this is my second month with my donor. I think I got my dates wrong last month but now I have the clearblue fertility monitor so fingers crossed and hoping for a November drop off on this bus ride.

I think ill be OV on 23rd so im just here to keep my seat warm ready for the ride.
