Jump on if you are a TTCer hoping that this cycle is 'the one' and will result in a sprog or sprogette due in November.

Welcoming season ticket holders and new passengers.

thinking I am v bloated too...and tired, but that could just be overwork!! Speaking of which I should probably get back to it...14 hour days at the mo Sad

cep · 23/02/2011 18:16

thinking a big < coming your way. but with the best of intentions. Smile fx for you.

blue a bit like me then, i never know until i'm on the day i've already passed 2 could be days tomorrow is 1 more then sat is the final. i hate not knowing.

sevendwarves · 23/02/2011 21:17

Blue 14 hour days sound like a killer!

My mum (who isn't good at tact) often makes it quite obvious she would like us to have more children. Today she actually asked me "so when are you going to have another baby then?" Shock I think I managed to successfully laugh it off, but talk about pressure! Still I guess it can't really get much more blatant than that?!

cep · 24/02/2011 07:40

Morning all, well i couldn't wait till tomorrow, took one this morning and BFP 1-2 weeks. really excited and scared will mc again. now just want to stay home with ds and not go into work but have to, how am i going to be able to sit there with my mouth shut.

Speaking of which i have to go. will be back on later when i get back home.

BlueCrane · 24/02/2011 07:45

Yeah, woohoo cep that's fantastic news!! I thought the 'symptoms' were sounding good!!! Wink Grin

Unfortunately another BFN here this morning but cramps seem to have eased off ... so, the wait continues!

BlueCrane · 24/02/2011 07:47

PS seven how's everything settling after the move? How's your shoulder? We've avoided too much pressure as DH never really wanted DCs and has only come round to it in the last year or so, so we've avoided too many questions about when we might start TTCing.

goingmadtrying · 24/02/2011 07:53

Yeah well done cep a bfp for the bus yippee :)

Poppyjen · 24/02/2011 08:23

Congratulations Cep that's fantastic news!

Iggly · 24/02/2011 08:36

Delurking to say congratulations cep! I really hope it all goes smoothly for the next 40 weeks Grin

bornofdust · 24/02/2011 08:37

Great news Cep! How many bfps do we have on the bus now?

Blue, AF arrived last week for me (with a vengeance as if to leave me in no doubt whatsoever), so I didn't bother poas* on Tues.

However, this makes my last two cycles 22 days long, so DH and I have reinitiated 'Project Darwin' this week (the moment I get a bfp there'll be a spreadsheet). I'm predicting AF 9th March now, so I'd like to squeeze back on the bus if possible please?! Not sure if this is a bit delusional and my cycle's just had a bit of a blip, but the idea of having another chance so quickly has perked me up a bit. Am I kidding myself though?

Anyway, fx once again. Here's hoping there's a few more bfps among the group!

*for some reason the spell checker on my phone always wants to change poas to POWs. There's the potential for so many misunderstandings on here!

goingmadtrying · 24/02/2011 08:47

Just checked my cervix and it is almost certainly more oen than yesterday so definately feel af will make an appearance this month :-( just a waiting game now

BlueCrane · 24/02/2011 08:53

Welcome back bornofdust sorry about AF but great that you've got a short cycle...mine was 35 days last month which just seemed forever!!

Loup23 · 24/02/2011 09:06

Yay well done cep brilliant news! I hope all goes really well for you. I got another BFN this morning (dpo11) so just waiting for AF to arrive. So frustrating we did lots of SWI over O day.......

Good luck to all those testing today x

Karbea · 24/02/2011 09:51

Morning all i'm only on dpo3 ages to go before anything interesting to report... Gahhhhh!

How many BFPs have we had so far? x

BlueCrane · 24/02/2011 11:00

karbea only 2 BFPs so far I think...am sure that on such a busy bus we should have some more soon Grin

BlueCrane · 24/02/2011 11:01

PS definite feeling of AF type cramps here this morning, and v short tempered - poor DH - starting to feel like PMT to me Sad

lucyintheskywithdinos · 24/02/2011 11:02

Congratulations Cep! Hope you have a healthy and easy pregnancy.

Day 20/35 here, what I thought was PMT the other day has gone again now...so feeling lots happier.

2 BFPs now I think...whatsherface and cep.

queenrollo · 24/02/2011 11:17

Congrat cep Smile

who asked about my honeymoon? (memory like a fish!) we're going to London for a week. The chance to look round museums properly as opposed to rushing round in five minutes when we take DS Grin Going to see a band one night and a posh meal somewhere.

sevendwarves · 24/02/2011 11:46

Congratulations cep!

Thanks blue, we're settling in well, although my shoulder is still agony. I can't lift my arm more than 45 degrees but I've got an appointment at the trauma clinic next week

Loup23 · 24/02/2011 12:07

Have a lovely wedding queen hope the weather stays dry for you, Fx for a honeymoon baby. Hope more people jump on the bus in the next few days!

Karbea · 24/02/2011 12:08

Oh 2 BFPs, yes we should definitely have more soon then!

Congrats cep

I'm off to get some lunch from the canteen, and to see if they sell grapefruit juice!

WaitingforStork · 24/02/2011 12:56

Congratulations cep brilliant news, hope others will get the news they are waiting for soon too! You must be sooo excited!

Queen you are getting married on the same day as me, fingers crossed for good weather. Have found that wedding preparation has distracted me from obsessing this far. Hope you have a brilliant day and a productive honeymoon!

I've been trying to guess when I can test. This is the first month ttc and I only came off the pill at the end of January so I don't know what my cycle length should be. Anyone shed any light based on the following timeline?

3rd Feb - Last Pill
7th Feb to 10th Feb - Withdrawl bleed
11th Feb - SWI
12th Feb - SWI
14th Feb - SWI
16th Feb - SWI
19th Feb - SWI, thicker CM
22nd Feb - SWI, definate EWCM
23rd Feb - no CM to speak of, couldn't convince DP to do the deed again, think I've exhausted him! Will try my luck tonight on the off chance but suspect would be too late now but you never know.

I haven't been charting temp or anything and my best guess is that ovulation happened sometime 22nd/23rd. Should I presume that AF would be due 14 days from from the 23rd? That would mean 9th March for AF. Should I wait til then to test, not sure I can be that patient (especially as was in Boots this morning and took advantage of buy one get one free on First Response).

Any suggestions welcome as very new to this.

Good luck to everyone else currently suffering the agonising tww!

x

Thinking11 · 24/02/2011 13:14

Congratulation cep so pleased for you.

Im now 4day past Ov and its my second day of crampy, bloated stomach and im really tired. Ive also got a dull ache at the base of my back. Too early to feeling anything really but I do 'feel defferent'. My thumb on my left hand is also twitching like mad, what's that all about?

Thinker slaps herself with a wet fish and tell herself to get a grip!

cep · 24/02/2011 14:19

afternoon all, thank you for all your congrats messages abit Shock really. i had achey crampy feelings all the way through last 2 weeks. and have been feeling knackered for the last week. fx for you all.

Loup23 · 24/02/2011 16:26

CEP how many dpos were you in the end? I got a BFN this morning (11dpo I think, could be 10) and am trying to hold on to hope a BFP might come along....
