Jump on if you are a TTCer hoping that this cycle is 'the one' and will result in a sprog or sprogette due in November.

Welcoming season ticket holders and new passengers.

Ding ding!

oh ghost am so sorry...the only good thing is having a better idea of your cycle length I guess but still Sad!

Have opted for a glass of water - much more healthy than Brew and doesn't interrupt the workmen...don't want to give them any excuse to charge more than they are already...paying by the hour! But at least my new hob is now fitted after Saturday's frustration and they can sort a load of other stuff that's been on a 'to do' list for ages!

Anyway...must do some work!! Smile

sevendwarves · 18/02/2011 12:01

Thanks everyone. Well at least after my fall I'm now glad I didn't conceive last month!

ghost sorry but at least you can stay on here rather than waiting for the next bus to come along!

Iggly I think we met on the October bus.

Blue we've got a fair amount still to do but we actually bought the house just before Christmas and it was filthy. It's taken nearly 2 months to get it to a liveable condition (and the previous owners lived here with 2 DC's Hmm). Still it's got 4 bedrooms and we paid less than most 2/3 bedrooms are on the market for round here!

ghosteditor · 18/02/2011 12:54

thanks ladies, yes, good luck to all of you!

Imps7 · 18/02/2011 13:09

ghost - I will stay on the bus with you - ERTD arrived for me today too, but if we crack it this cycle the est due date will be 30 Nov!

BlueCrane · 18/02/2011 13:49

seven sounds like a good buy and the hard work will pay off and you get to do it how you want it to be rather than living with someone else's taste!

imps and ghost good that you can stay on this bus...am sure there's still some cakes left on that trolley to help you feel better with AF visiting!!

Hey Ladies, just updating the list, think I have added everyone and have moved Ghost and Imps to the back of the bus.

Me and DH were at the Doctors today to get his test results back for his sperm sample. The Doc says he could populate the world on that one sample, it was so good. So that means we are now referred to the fertility clinic, so here's hoping that wont take long.

I'm due AF on Monday, have already poas 3 2 times since Wednesday, but as expected bfn's.

cep · 18/02/2011 14:10

Thought i'd better update mine as have been on cd 3 for quite a while Blush Good news about the swimmers doflies fx for the clinic.

DoFliesHaveKnees · 18/02/2011 14:35

Thanks Cep, its one thing less we have to worry about!

I also asked the Doc if it would be making a difference that I get spotting in the week before AF comes and he said he didn't think so. I'm sure we will find out soon enough!

We're also in the middle of changing things in the house. Got a quote last week for replacing our bathroom, it was only £9k!

Ah well, we'll have to do it ourselves Smile

cep · 18/02/2011 14:42

good grief doflies what are you replacing it with? a spa??

DoFliesHaveKnees · 18/02/2011 15:03

I wouldnt mind if it was a spa, it was only a shower, bath, toilet and sink! I couldn't believe it! They gave us a good incentive Hmm by saying if we booked the fitting there and then they would reduce the price so it would only cost us £7850! Grin

ghosteditor · 18/02/2011 15:05

Grin we just had a quote for our kitchen - it's absolutely tiny and for the price I think they wanted us to clear out the old kitchen and paint the walls first... the quote was £19500 but 'luckily' for us there was a (perma) sale on and the real quote was £9700. twatty moben kitchen designers with their imaginary prices. We did not partake of the offer and will be doing it ourselves over summer!

Having said that though, DH and his dad completely redid our bathroom (think down to having new walls and floors as well as fixtures and fittings and tiles) and I think it cost about £4k just for materials, and they didn't even have to buy any new tools.

doflies bet your DH is so chuffed!

[scoffs cake]

Loup23 · 18/02/2011 15:25

Hi can I jump onboard the bus please...?? Am on the 2ww (5dpo) and it's driving me crazy... Had cramping and spotting yesterday but am sure it's too early for IB - trying to stay hopeful though. Weirdly I O earlier this month but normal stats

TTC#1, cycle 6 UCL 33, AF due 28 Feb I think.....

Good luck to all x

cep · 18/02/2011 15:53

we've redone 2 bathrooms within the last year (1 from scratch as no previous b/r upstairs)i have no idea how muh it all cost, will let you know when spoken to dh. but that was new bath and shower (sh in 1 ba in other) new tiles, floor, sinks toilets and cupboards. Bath was v expensive as was whirlpool and jacuzzi.

cep · 18/02/2011 15:54

sorry welcome loup and fx for you. Smile

BlueCrane · 18/02/2011 16:06

oooh...all this DIY makes me want to do my wallpapering tomorrow (I told a little fib earlier about having finished all the DIY on our list Blush). It's definitely a good distraction from the 2ww and also can make you a little more relaxed if BFN as it's another months salary to pay for the DIY to be done pre small person joining the family!! Wink

Welcome loup and thanks for updated stats cep and doflies. And doflies great news about the swimmers!!

Looking at the list there could be a lot of POASing going on around this thread next week Grin

Thinking11 · 18/02/2011 16:07

Hi again

Just a warning that I may become a little neurotic over the next few days. Im 'recieving donations' over the next 4 days and I am off work for a week. So let the symptom spotting begin...

TTC#1, cycle 2 UCL25, AF due March 4

cep · 18/02/2011 16:12

no worries thinking we all get neurotic on here at times. good luck. Grin

i had one myself the other evening, went to loo (5dpo) and had the smallest drop of blood on tissue, wiped again lighter, then lighter still. Was absolutely convinced was implantation bleed. Hmm guess will wait and see.

Loup23 · 18/02/2011 16:12

good luck thinking!

thanks for the welcomes - really helps to have other people in same position.

Have two tests in my bag (as buy one get one free at Boots!) but must try not to take them over the weekend - 5-7dpo ridiculously early i know but am so impatient.

Good luck with all the DIY girls, hope it keeps the stress at bay!

ghosteditor · 18/02/2011 16:16

welcome loup!

thinking and cep, me too, am currently entertaining myself during a very quiet day at work by thinking 'hmm, what I light AF I appear to be having, and where are the usual pains?' no matter that AF only started a few hours ago and I had a BFN yesterday! [puts crazy hat on and sits in a corner]

Why oh why did I join MN? Ignorance was bliss...

cep · 18/02/2011 16:22

ghost it's dr google for me, such a powerful tool.

loup i have some upstairs. i'm same as you 7dpo it is really difficult to not test every 5 secs, but am going to try and wait till cd28. (although my cycles are anywhere between 24-28 last month 22) i will be strong.

ghosteditor · 18/02/2011 16:26

cep I should point out that on a scale of one to delusional, your 5dpo evidence is around a 2 - "you'll never prove it was an implanation bleed" while my ability to believe that this is some sort of pseudo-AF is more like a 9 - "full blown WACKO"

(a 10 on the ghosteditor scale would be something like stealing somebody else's baby and stuffing it up your jumper)

ghosteditor · 18/02/2011 16:27

Blush I meant implantation bleed

ghosteditor · 18/02/2011 16:28

loup don't do it! early testing only leads to sadface and/or neurosis!

[am safe to say this as am on CD1...]

BlueCrane · 18/02/2011 16:32

ghost if it's any consolation, last month AF was 5 days late and when she did appear, quiet heavily and very painfully I refused to take any painkillers or have a hot water bottle for two whole days despite being in agony just in case it wasn't actually AF Grin Grin and in fact during this cycle have wondered on and off whether it was in fact an implantation bleed (yes I am totally loopy) and even POAS the other weekend just to make sure Blush needlesstosay it was obviously a BFN and I'd just peed on another £5!!

ghosteditor · 18/02/2011 16:35

Grin yes in fact that does make me feel better blue! let's hope that we get those BFPs fast so that the world does not have to endure too much more TTC crazy...
