to tell the truth - we seem to shag every other day for 4 days (so 2 shags) and then nothing at all for over a week so, technically i might have been white fibbing. and i do want a baby :)

As for me, I have been very busy with work, and the big thaw means I?ve actually been doing stuff with my horses too. All good fun, except today it was tipping down and windy all day, so have only just dried out! Can I join you viroids, I'm refusing to obsess (but finding it hard). I am just SWI... or I was until my husband (don't know the right acronym) went to India for a fortnight with work. I'm on my first month of ttc after being on the pill for 7 years. I think my ERTD is due around now, but since this is the first cycle sans pill I have no idea. I think I ovulated between Christmas and New Year, based on feelings, not obsessive POAS or temperatures. I did succumb to POAS before my man went away on Wednesday in the hope that I would be less obsessive in his absence, but just got the obvious BFN. Don't know how long to leave it until POAS again, but think I'll wait until Friday, because by then ERTD will be around 5 days late, and at least the stick should tell the truth, whether its coming or not.

I have thoroughly enjoyed stalking reading all of your stories, hope you'll have me!

Hi Lizzy and welcome! I'm also in my first month off the pill and wondering what the hell my cycles are doing. ERTD is a week late to what it would have been when I was on the pill but I tested on Friday and it was a BFN. Going to give it a few more days and try again on "Testfest Tuesday"!

I'm assured by the other viroids that you do get less obsessive as time goes on!

Katy JSing is Just Shagging! I don't really know what Viroids are, but I think it is something to do with predictive text mistaking for girlies!

Cheeser Theres always next month, it won't matter in the end when you eventually get that BFP, the more I say it, the less upset I'll be if when my ERTD arrives probably soon.

I ordered a load of really cheap early response tests off ebay today, does anyone have any experience of how well they work? I can't afford to keep up the boots addiction, and I really just want either ERTD or a BFN. I'm sick of waiting, I had convinced myself I would not fuss, but I would know by now anyway. I managed not to think about it much, but time is up for my patience now.

Obviously I want a BFP not another BFN!

TTC #2 since April 10. Still BF. PCOS and underactive thyroid and approx 3 months cycles so I have no idea when i ovulate. Due any time around end of Jan so not testing till start of Feb (if I can wait that long)
What is ERTD, i'm assuming it's something to do with AF?

deemented the pregnancy tests on ebay were only £3.70 for 20 including p&p so I think thats pretty good value if they work. They're ultra early so even if you can't stick to the rules you might be able to get a BFP before the expensive tests.

All thats if they work... if I get a BFP on one I'll let you know!

Was just wondering..... I have been TTC#2 for over 2 years now. I have been taking 100mg of Levothyroxine since just after DS was born, so about 6.5 years now. Could that be affecting things? Can't find much about it online.

I'm currently on 50mg. As far as I know, the thyroxine is simply replacing what should be there so it shouldn't make to much of a difference. Do you have your levels checked regularly?

If your levels are too low it can hamper ovulation but as long as your levels are being checked regularly (Mine are checked every 3 months but I think 6 months is normal) it should be ok.

So...I had the most interesting proposition today. There is a girl I know, known for years, but don't really hang out, IYSWIM. She's nice, has 2 kiddies herself. She knows we are trying and has figured that things aren't going completely to plan. Anyway, today she said that, if it came to it, she is happy to donate eggs!! I didn't qutie know what to say!! Obviously I said I was very touched and grateful for the kind offer. But explained that it seemed like with the clomid I was ovulating. Really really sweet of her, but not sure I could handle my child having her DNA, TBH. Is that really harsh?! Think anonymity would be far better!!

Nelly - WRT MN Royalty. I may be wrong here, but POMS used to be GetOrfMoiLand and is a prolific poster, esp in AIBU. She started a thread that she was about to POAS and she got over 900 posts that evening!!! So she is clearly a MN heavyweight!! Please forgive me if I am speaking out of turn. :) I think there are a few others that are newbies to our thread, but certainly not MN newbies.
