Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

Vallinna thinking of you and hoping all is well - you must be so worried xx

30andTurkey · 13/01/2011 08:45

Valinna, hoping all works out for you today.

hiddenme · 13/01/2011 09:14

Vallinna I had something similar when pg with DD1. I with to the EPU 2 days later and had a scan and all was fine. She's now a very happy healthy 6yo.
stay positive - Fingers crossed

PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 13/01/2011 09:27

I didn't get to read the last page of the thread before Dd woke from her nap but it now seems an insensitive point to have marked my place. I will reintroduce myself another time :).

Vannilla, I hope all is well.

takethatlady · 13/01/2011 09:52

Don't worry practicallyimperfect, and helloooo :)

vallinna, I hope all is going okay and that the bleeding has stopped. Go and camp out at the EPU and demand to be seen. As you might remember, the hospital were unbelievably rude and unsupportive on the phone, but when I just went down there they were lovely and checked me out straight away. I hope you get the same.

PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 13/01/2011 09:59

*Vallinna Blush

And thanks, takethatlady

vallinnapod · 13/01/2011 10:00

Ladies, thanks for your support!

Went to fertility clinic rather than EPU as they 'know' me. The mini-Pod is still insitu, sac bigger and Pod itself has doubled in size since Monday. As you can imagine the relief is immense.

Still brown bleeding and likelihood of more as the implantation bleed works it's way out (at 6weeks).

God lord....!

Hello all newcomers. I used to be a normal sane person, then we decided to have a baby....!

Off to make love to my sofa x

BrassicaBabe · 13/01/2011 10:00

Hellooo newbies Smile

I've found new homes for all of my left over pg tests. To the 4 viroids, I hope to post them out to you tomorrow.

x

takethatlady · 13/01/2011 10:08

bb nice to see you've got a back-up career in piss-stick-peddling Grin

Thank fuck for that vallinna. Just 34 more weeks to go Wink. Hope you enjoy the sofa sex Grin

hiddenme · 13/01/2011 10:32

vallinna Great news ..................and breathe :)

BrassicaBabe · 13/01/2011 10:48

Oooh, cross post vallinna Thank feck for that!!

panpipe · 13/01/2011 11:49

That's great to hear vallinna :)

I was a right stroppy moo with DH this morning (hormones?!). We decided last night to do a test this morning but by the time this morning came evidently he decided he wanted to sleep some more. Consequently I didn't speak to him for the whole train journey to work and left him at the station in a huff and a 'glad to know where your priorities are'! It's like being 16 again! So with any luck he'll be more receptive to spending 5 minutes in the bathroom with me tomorrow morning while I pee on a stick, or it'll have to be Saturday.

I hope if it is a BFP that I'm not gonna be quite so high maintenance Blush

takethatlady · 13/01/2011 11:58

Grin panpipe. My first post on MN was a huffy AIBU about DH not wanting to come to the doctor's to talk about conceiving with me ... turns out I definitely was being unreasonable Grin. There was no need even for the appointment (I cancelled it).

TTC and pregnancy have removed all semblance of sanity I had left ...

nickelbabysnatcher · 13/01/2011 12:02

ooh, hello PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay and deemented

so excited that some familiar faces have joined - although it suddenly feels less anonymous! Blush

Vallinna - thank God that all's okay with your bean. We're always here for you and your worries, so please don't stop spilling. :)

Thanks BB ! Grin

ttl - that's why Mn is so genius - it stops us making all the silly mistakes in life that would make us Blush
Grin

I'm hungry and bored - only had one customer (and one really odd woman who kept randomly talking to me without gaining my attention first - have no clue what she was aying, because she was mumbling and I didn't realise I was supposed to be listening until i'd missed the gist Blush )

oh, deemneted - you're not allowed to call it SWI on here - it's Just Shagging (or JSing) Grin - keeps us sane!

Oh no reality, how embarrassing. I like to think that my idiot posts are confined to other threads than this one, and never the twain shall meet!

Obviously I am idiotic on this thread too, but in a different way Grin

Sounds promising, by the way ...

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 13/01/2011 13:47

Hello to the newest Newbies. And to 30andTurkey, just sneak on in and pretend you're new all over again. We have a well stocked drinks cabinet if that helps.

Haven't read today's posts properly as saw Vallinna's post this morning before I went out and am now very relieved to see that all is well.

Panpipe I used to go to the loo, pee on the stick then go and take it back to bed with me to wait with DH. No way he was coming in with me while I pee'd! Surely if you turn up in bed with an activated peestick in the morning your DH will have to pay attention.

excitedLJ · 13/01/2011 13:52

so much excitement on here all the time, I have no idea how I will ever keep up....already can't wait for your result panpipe so goodness knows how you must be feeling!!

Lady at work had her 12 week scan today - all is well and the lil one was 'stretching' and allsorts! I'm totally thrilled for her but if this had been two weeks ago before the official TTC decision I would have been sobbing!! Now it just gives me hope!

excitedLJ · 13/01/2011 13:54

cross post NMCB but very good plan and one I'll be keeping in the back pocket for the hopefully not too distant future!! Grin

nickelbabysnatcher · 13/01/2011 13:59

Reality - you're not playing the game properly! Shock

you can't come on the thread then immediately annouce you're ready to POAS with symptoms and everything

that's not fair [harumph]
