The resurrection of the 6th form common room for those inbetweeners who are TTC/PG after mc and are too long in the tooth to fit anywhere else

The resurrection of the 6th form common room, a place to put your feet up, wallow in self pity (me) or rejoice (and tremble in fright) at new growing beans and baybees after mc. No lists. No stats. No babydust. No feeling bad if you can't keep up.

Go.

I cant put the pee sticks down, I am carrying them around the house and obsessively checking them every 5 minsBlushBlush Is this normal?

batteryhen · 23/02/2011 18:29

Yes. You are very normal. Pee all you like, re-check old sticks all you like :) After all you have been through I say pee woman pee. Grin

Just a qucikie from me - CD1 today had a weep in the car, but have now cuddled my very loving cat (absence of DP) and now feel better. Also (TMI) blood is red and a bit more than it has been before. (that sounds positive doesn't it mummyoracle ?)

Am also going to join in the sleep over and get out my sleeping bag and thermos flask with yummy tomato soup

mummyabroad · 23/02/2011 18:34

Battery big hugs for CD1, I was still holding out hope that you would take this journey with meSad. Red blood is very good, the more the better. As you know pre-surgery I didnt have any periods, but lots of ladies with AS who did had only brown blood for a day or two, and didnt need much more than a panty liner. Red blood is very very promising. hope you have some CD1 treats planned xxx

mousebacon · 23/02/2011 18:43

I can see I'm joining the party rather late here but woohoo mummy !!

I'm going to grab a chair and wait it out with the others too Grin

Been for my own bloods today and might get the results as early as tomorrow. I'll be interested to know what my levels are. I'd ovulated by this many days post erpc last time! Grr!

Sorry for cd1 battery it's the shittiest feeling when AF comes. Have you got some Wine in the house? My practice nurse was lovely today btw. She took my blood in her lunch hour. I love her!

batteryhen · 23/02/2011 19:08

Thanks mummy :)

mouse glad your nurse is so nice - most of them are you know Grin

mummyabroad · 23/02/2011 19:47

mousebacon · 23/02/2011 19:55

Right back at you mummy Smile

battery she told me today she's retiring at the end of march but to let the girls know when I had that baby. I'm gutted she's going! Fancy a move to Tyneside? The weather's always sunny (you never need a coat) and we are all v friendly Smile

Youremindmeofthebabe · 23/02/2011 20:03

lol at you never need a coat. I think I am the geordie exception. There's gotta be one, right?

I've been in a right old state today. Crying my eyes out over uni work. what a wuss. Still, I've just had a minor breakthrough over it, and its my bday on Friday, so not all bad. Testing day on Sunday which is when my party is, so it'll be my party and i'll cry if I want to. Hope you're all well.

randomimposter · 23/02/2011 20:26

Ninunina · 23/02/2011 20:36

Hello ladies, I just popped in from the other thread to see if there was any good news...and sure enough...CONGRATULATIONS mummya :)

mummyabroad · 23/02/2011 20:42

Thanks Ninunina I am actually still in denial waiting patiently for confirmation, because the line is very very feint and AF not due for 2 days. Should get blood results back soon and if its positive I will pop over to the mother thread to update the stats. Send my love to those that still know me xxx

Ninunina · 23/02/2011 21:03

Hope you get the the result soon mummya :) Just some reassurance, I only ever got super faint lines on the internet cheapies. I totally agree with the other ladies, you'll probably get a much stronger line with CB & FR...but strong line or faint line....a line is a line xxx

Blackkat · 23/02/2011 21:13

Just popping over to say mummya congratulations, how exciting! Fantastic, brilliant and splendid news Grin, Grin

mummyabroad · 23/02/2011 21:20

Well, results are in! I persuaded her to tell me over the phone - my number is 59.1. GrinGrinGrin She then said, "oh but you need to see the table to know what it means" and I just about refrained from replying that I practically memorised that table a long time ago!

So I checked with my old notes and the table says a result of over 30 = defo pregnant. and 16-156 = 1 to 2 weeks. Grin Grin I think that is good enough to tell DH about. GrinGrin

mousebacon · 23/02/2011 21:23
