thanks for your support everyone, did another test this morning to be sure - i'm 4 weeks +5. I think that means i'd be due 21st september. So it turns out i've been an imposter all along. I'm greatfull for your help anyway.

I can't believe how many of us there are on this bus now!

Does anyone know roughly how long after ovulation implantation occurs? I had a couple of cramps earlier but I'm only 3dpo, trying not to get my hopes up!

MrsCLH · 18/01/2011 14:12

sevendwarves - I think its around 6-10 days - but spend long enough googling and I'm sure you'll find somewhere that says it takes less time than that :) It's so different for everyone, I think that's what makes the whole waiting game so frustrating!

BlueCrane · 18/01/2011 16:15

Does anyone know how soon after ovulation you could start to get symptoms? I had upset tummy and bloating start within a couple of days of Ov (if I've got dates correct) and felt strange on and off since including cramping etc. AF due thurs so will soon see but am still intrigued!

cep · 18/01/2011 17:52

bluecrane i think like mrs clh said normally implantation happens around 6-10 days after and therefore that would be the earliest time frame for any symptoms. (in my opinion, but i could be wrong)

pookypup · 18/01/2011 18:37

Brilliant news for PrincessScrumpy, ShoopShoop, MrsCLH and Yoshi :o so pleased for you all.

Fingers crossed for the rest of us! I'm on cd 16 of ?? Waiting to see what happens to my cycle after 15 years on pill [hmmm]

arabella36 · 18/01/2011 18:46

bluecrane I'm also interested in how soon you can get symptoms. I'm 8DPO and have had lightheadedness, unusual tiredness and nausea. Am definitely suspicious but don't know if symptoms really possible so early?

arabella36 · 18/01/2011 18:47

And also, have only had BFNs so far, Poo!

Iwish · 18/01/2011 19:11

Hi all :)

arabella. I think some people get symptoms not ling after implantation so 7-10 dpo. You could still get a bfp yet, even an early test wouldnt pick up pg until at the very earliest 10dpo.

I'm 5dpo apparently but u think FF is wrong as it days I ov'd on cd14 but I got lines on an opk cd16! Aaarrgh!!

arabella36 · 18/01/2011 19:22

Thanks IwishSmile

Pixiepops · 18/01/2011 19:32

Thanks for adding me to the list sevendwarves, it feels quite exciting now that I'm officially ttc!

Pookypup I came off the pill in November after 14 years on it - went straight back into my normal 28 day cycle too. I can't help but think that it's amazing really that my body can remember & get right back into the swing of things! Fingers crossed it works out for you too.

Well done to all of the BFPs :)

pookypup · 18/01/2011 19:42

Thanks pixiepops! Good luck and good fun TTC x

OddBodd · 19/01/2011 08:36

Still no AF cd45! Not going to test though because I am just working under the assumption i'm not pregnant. Just a waiting game now and see what happens next month!

Can't wait to see how many BFPs we have over the next week or so! Good luck everyone! Think I'll be on the November bus! Grin

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 08:50

Good luck oddbod, you could test soon though?

I definitely have premenstrual symptoms this am (CD26 of a 28-29) day cycle. I do not think I'm pregnant this month after all.

Lots of luck to everyone else and I hope the next bus is as entertaining as this oneSmile

xstitch · 19/01/2011 09:08

I am working on the assumption I will be on the November bus too.

Morning!

OH is away at the w/e which is when i think i will ov.. so that's annoying!

i've started http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/332dc0 charting which is interesting, although my chart is pretty dull at the mo!

Hoping it will make me less stressy for the 2ww's...

xx

Iggly · 19/01/2011 12:19

Fingers crossed for you arabella. AF is due at the weekend for me if my cycle has gone back to normal post mc. However I feel nothing! I don't think I'm pregnant and don't feel PMS. I'm worried my body has gone mad. Oh well. It's early days in the ttc journey but feeling twitchy and broody.

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 15:17

Thanks Foghorn and IgglySmile
Xstitch I hope you don't have to join the next busSmile

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 15:21

Iggly, I suppose you could be on a longer cycle this month? Which would explain the lack of PM symptoms or alternatively not feeling pregnant yet?

soundofherwings · 19/01/2011 17:20

I don't know how everyone holds out on testing for so long- I've been testing every day from dpo8 with my lovely internet cheapies. Tried to hold out until dpo 10 but failed! Forgot this morning but just POAS now, put it down while waiting for result remembered it 10 mins later and there is a really faint line, like so faint if i look at it for long enough I convince myself it's not there! Arrrrrrgh, will not pee for the next 5 hours and do another one later!

I've felt awful all through the 2ww so far- I hope I am pregnant and this isn't yet another evil trick from coming off the pill.

Iwish · 19/01/2011 18:08

oooh soundof how exciting!! i hope its a BFP. make sure you do another test first wee tomorrow when its concentrated ans you'll have a better chance of the line showing its face :)

arabella36 · 19/01/2011 18:41

Good luck for your next test soundof Smile!!

since posting earlier I found that my fr test from this am had an extremely faint second line but hours after the timeframe so doesn't count.
So I did a clear blue test which has the plus sign for positive. It came up with the vertical part of the cross incredibly thinner than the horizontal part, and fainter, but within the timeframe. So DH thinks it's inconclusive as it's so faint. What do you think?Confused
