Well I tested again today as cd43. BFN so it's looking unlikely to have happened for us this month. Can't say I am surprised with dh's shifts being all over the place and my cycle being all over the place I think we may struggle this time round.

Lord only knows where my AF is this month!

Hello and evening all! Can't believe how busy it's been on here today...and there was me thinking we all had work to do! I daren't look too much at work in case anyone spots me and 'guesses' we're TTCing!

Still resisting testing and the days are slooowly passing and moving towards thurs/fri for AF due date! Feeling fairly rotten tonight though with massive bloating and wind, cramps and am shattered! But they could also all be pre-AF symptoms so will have to wait and see!

well i got the test -clear blue plus- and i seem to be pregnant! I messed up the first one, nothing came up after the two mins, i don't think i held it in long enough. so i did the second and a great big plus sign came up straight away, i looked back at the other and that was positive too. There's no way i could have messed this up is there? i haven't done a test before at all. It's nice to know that i haven't been imagining things. My oh is in shock still! X thanks for listening to me going on!

How many BFP's have we had now then?

been trying to catch up as I've not been following this much for the last week or so - I live in Brisbane so I've been rather glued to the news here about all the floods, and helping out some affected friends. It has proved to be a huge distraction from the 2ww!

So, after all my intention of just noting the signs in my body, I really am quite perplexed about when/if I ovulated this month - no EWCM or anything. So much for being body-aware! So we just SWI'd every other day around the "usual" time and will hope for the best.

I would second the advice of Bluecrane about holding off the early testing if you can stand it, I did 2 early tests with my DD - both negative, had no symptoms of pregnancy whatsoever, and then when I did a test on the day AF was due (which I only did so I could have a few glasses of wine and not worry - I was so convinced I was not pregnant) I then got a positive test. And when I get a BFN before AF is due, it is still very tempting to keep testing every day just in case the test was wrong, and putting yourself through all that is very hard! Best to try and wait if you can (IMO)

I second the advice of not testing too early, if you get a negative you will keep on spending money every day until you get your period anyway. Save yourself a few pounds and wait. However, it is sooooo tempting to test as soon as possible and I should know! I've had 5 months practise of mentally early testing and am trying to be more reasonable now.

Congratulations yoshi, I thought you were probably pregnant, that's why I (and probably everyone else) told you to test!

I doubt it will be my month though, we only managed it once in my fertile window this cycle :(

Hi all, AF due today, another positive this morning, line was darker today too. Somehow still don't believe it though!

Well...all my 'symptoms' seem to have disappeared (other than being super tired but that could be for so many different reasons). Still holding out until AF due on thurs before I test and I must say that being busy at work does help with the arduous 2ww. Thing is, now that the 'symptoms' have gone I'm tempted to try and wait for AF rather than testing straight away as if I get a bfn i'll be so disappointed and then wonder if I tested too early...grrr...never really thought about the waiting when we started TTC!!
