NinjaChipmunk · 18/05/2011 21:04

hello!

how is everyone today? tentative congratulations for hairy and piglet, has anyone heard from either of them?
queenrollo sorry to hear you feeling so down, but I think its always better to let it out than keep it in. At least that way you are actually dealing with what you are feeling.
bex, sorry you think af is on her way, will keep fingers crossed for you.
jazzy welcome!

well i'm on cd8 so feeling all positive and about to start the swi for the month. I've also come to the conclusion I cannot take my drink at all these days, went out last night, had 2 (admittedly largish) wines and have felt like crap all day! ah well, back to abstinence i guess?

pigletmania · 18/05/2011 21:27

hi Ninja I am fine Smile no bleeding or signs of MC so far fx. How are you all today, any good news from anyone.

NinjaChipmunk · 18/05/2011 21:57

glad to hear it piglet, lovely news.

Bexamundo · 18/05/2011 22:03

Good stuff piglet! Keep us posted.
I've been feeling rubbishy, very weepy, crampy, achey. Temp dropped this morning, the evil witch is on her way. I'm off to the Gp re my cycles and ?not ovulating regularly.

mazg · 20/05/2011 18:40

Hi girls,

Can I join you all? I am Maz, I have one DD (about to turn 3), PCOS and a couple of years of TTC under my belt. I am, as I am sure you'll understand, getting quite sick of it.

Oh and AF came today ;-)

Hoping to start treatment soon but next appointment not til July. Sigh.

xxxxx

Bexamundo · 20/05/2011 21:21

Welcome mazg. Would you like a drink? [Starts shaking cocktail shaker vigorously!]
I am cd24, ?14dpo. Gone from cynicism to curiosity this cycle. Continue to wait and see...

queenrollo · 21/05/2011 08:37

AF finally deigned to put in appearance late last night. Actually OK with it as it's better than the wait and uncertainty of long cycles.

Bexamundo · 23/05/2011 15:44

Relatively good news. GP agrees with me, don't appear to be ovulating regularly. Going to refer me for ultrasound and fertility clinic appt. Also will check bloods for fsh/lh on cd3 and testosterone levels (will do that tomorrow). More emotional than I expected but relieved I'm moving forward.
Currently cd2 and in agony. Seems ironic to suffer so much due to period when body isn't even producing as it should!

NinjaChipmunk · 23/05/2011 19:19

Glad to hear your gp agrees and seems to want to do stuff quickly. Maybe it. Will throw some light on the painful periods. What you experience certainly warrants some investigating. Let us know how you get on.
Will be back later, %it to get ds ready for bed.

queenrollo · 23/05/2011 20:11

well i've had a very heavy but much shorter period than usual......only two days of proper AF, it's usually a 5 dayer for me. My hormones are obviously up the creek at the moment.....

Good news bex that your on the road to hopefully getting some answers.

Bexamundo · 24/05/2011 21:11

Who knows what's going on with our bodies (hmm accidently predicative text typed in 'babies' then!). My flow has all but stopped, pain still bad!
hairy in case you're lurking but not posting, thinking of you!
piglet, how's things? Hoping the bean is still sticky.

NinjaChipmunk · 24/05/2011 22:12

hi bex, did you get your bloods done today? when do you get your results?

hope everyone is well, am on cd14 today and have managed swi on days 10, 11, 12 and 13. Tonight and tomorrow are out as dp is away but my ewcm seems to have disappeared so am hoping I have done enough. May try to swi tomorrow is dp comes home early enough but don't know when his flight lands. Now for the wait..............

hairylights · 24/05/2011 22:14

wave I am lurking!

NinjaChipmunk · 24/05/2011 22:18

Smile at hairy How are you?

Bexamundo · 24/05/2011 22:50

Yes bloods done today. Hmm results, could have a sneaky peak at work.tomorrow?! Or call Gp like a good girl!
Doubt there'll be very conclusive and think ultrasound will be only real confirmation. Hi hairy!

ellangirl · 24/05/2011 22:53

Hi all. I'm all tested out- pelvic ultrasound today, final test necessary to begin ICSI. Appt with consultant on Thursday to get the ball rolling with booking a clinic. Yay!
Welcome to all new people! Gins all round! 8mazg* what treatment are you hoping to go for?
piglet congratulations- I seemed to have missed that one- absolutely fantastic news!
hairy I'm so glad you're lurking, how are you?
Good luck with the wait ninja I'm now on the 2ww too, but it's a write off, obviously! So weird having my ovulation confirmed by ultrasound!
bex and queenrollo i'm sorry your bodies are messing you around- you give them a stern talking to!

NinjaChipmunk · 25/05/2011 09:27

aw ellangirl you sound excited! keep us in the loop, I have no idea what you have to go through to have ICSI but I have everything (except my legs Wink) crossed for you.

bex, hope you do get some conclusive results, or at the very least a path of investigation.

hello to everyone else. be back later.

queenrollo · 25/05/2011 09:36

i had to be really stern with myself when out having coffee yesterday. Sat right next to a woman and her 4 month old boy (only seat left in cafe) and she was giving him a bottle and he was gripping her fingers so tightly and I looked and had a rush of nostalgia at doing that with DS and the tears sprang up my eyes. I hid behind the paper until i made myself stop crying....

Another friend announced PG, but again one who had a terrible time with miscarriage earlier this year - i find the jealousy isn't as bad under those circumstances. Still find it hard to have that little bit of jealousy when a PG is announced....

NinjaChipmunk · 25/05/2011 10:04

queenrollo, I know what you mean, its the most overwhelming feeling too. I think feeling a bit of jealousy is completely natural as well. Whilst I may be begrudgingly happy for whoever announces their pregnancy, it just highlights how long I've been trying and how sad I am that its not me making the announcement. Not only that but I know that ds really wants a brother or sister. So many of his friends have siblings and he doesn't understand why he doesn't have one. Plus I see how much he loves and is really gentle with friends babies and I want him to feel that kind of love for a sibling too.
But you know what? IT WILL HAPPEN. Because I can't contemplate it not happening.

Gastonladybird · 29/05/2011 19:30

Hardandsleazy here (namechanged) - I have been lurking but just wanted to pop on to say that am five weeks pregnant. Am on aspirin and progesterone and bloody terrified will all go wrong again . Having to stop myself googling.
So happy re your news hairy(have fingers crossed)

Bex glad you are getting some tests -when do you get your results?

Rollo and ninja -the jealousy is AWful but I agree I don't mind when it is someone I know has had issues (ie not the woman at work who seems to conceive more easily than I do online supermarket orders).

Hi to jazzy and mazg - hope you find this helps and good luck.

NinjaChipmunk · 29/05/2011 19:36

tentative congratulations to you! Will you be having an early scan? I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Hope you get the chance to relax and enjoy it a bit soon. Kepp us posted x

Gastonladybird · 29/05/2011 19:45

Yes had one on Friday that showed very little (no shock) and
Having another in a weeks time . I don't think I have ever been so worried or negative about a pregnancy.

NinjaChipmunk · 29/05/2011 19:55

Is there a point where you think you will start to feel a tiny bit more relaxed? It must be so hard not being able to let yourself get excited. I can only begin to imagine how you feel. Good luck love and you know we're here if you need to sound off about how you are feeling.

Bexamundo · 29/05/2011 21:28

Hello to gastonladybird, tentative congratulations! Already had a cheeky look on computer at work (NHS perk) at my lh/fsh one was 3.6 other was 4.4 (ish). Think they should be closer together? Gynae appt is 1st July guess I'll get dome answers then. Just relaxing in mean time, trying to lose some weight (currently obese), so far have lost 4lb (in 2 weeks) and going to.the gym lots. Even went for a run today (I'm so not a runner dunno what came over me!).
feeling fairly posotv
