Ninja I'm ok finally dragged myself out of depression after onset of af. Told DH the timetable for this month's SWI, which went down like a lead balloon! Spent Valentines shitting through the eye of a needle so that was romantic but DH bought me a replacement rabbit 4 the last 1 I wore out so that was nice! How r u?

Why is it that some people seem to think my miscarriages are a suitable subject for gossip.

You know, someone that knows, but you haven't seen since, and says 'you alright?' with that look in their eye - almost a selacious look. A look that means 'I want the grim details'.

I know this person would love nothing more than to get in to a deep conversation about what 'help' they will now give me and all teh gory details of what happened - and I keep trying to hammer home THEY WILL GIVE ME NO HELP. THEY WILL TEST ME AND THEY MAY NEVER FIND A REASON. I WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR ANY 'HELP' MYSELF.

hairy i'm sure you're not as stupid as me but several friends told me about aspirin so I started taking 75mg a day but then saw my MC Consultant who said don't take it until you get a BFP - which of course makes sense - but i was desperate! Anything to 'fix' my MC's. I started my new role today - stomach about to erupt and my DH was involved in a firearms incident last night so didn't get in til 5am - still in shock - my first thought was 'Will you be OK to shag on Sat night' - which I didn't put to him - then on way to work realised that if he'd been shot there would be no TTC for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaages. My obsession has taken over my life...

Sleazy - its called 'Going to the Dentist during the TWW' - its hilarious - things have got really heated on there - am waiting for Spikeyspookydooky's reply!!

Pooch yeah, I had a friend tell me (at another friend's fortieth birthday party - really appropriate ) about her friend's cousin who 'had loads of miscarriages'. And she kept on about 'why don't you take aspirin it worked for her'.

So I took great pleasure in explaining thrombophilia , and the reason I wasn't taking it yet was my consultant (not just some woman at a party) had advised that it can prevent implantation and should only be taken from BFP.

When I got my last BFP my consultant put me on 75mg, but I still miscarried. :(

If I was a crueller / more bitter person I'd ring her up and give her a graphic blow by blow account of my recent MC and ask her medical advice this time . Wonder what she knows about NK cells? LOL.

Hmm I've just looked at the dentist thread..who does she think she is mocking our gin based thread?! How rude! I went to a spa in November during the 2ww and they advised me not to go in. After a year of ttc I decided not to cos if I had finally got a bfp and anything had happened I'd have always wondered if it was my fault...
Ah well life must be miserable when you're lke that!

Bexa my fingers have been itching to reply - would be along the lines of 'Fuck off you heartless bitch, you clearly are one of these people who shag then a few weeks down the line feel a bit peeky, wonder 'oohh haven't had a af in ages maybe I'm PG', get a BFP and then give birth 6 months later'. Crawl back to whatever stone you crawled out of. But I have managed to resist, am far too nice/diplomatic to post such a message...

Hmm, I'm keeping out of them all I think- at the end of the day they're all only doing what they think is best.
Saw my new niece and nephew yesterday, thought I might be upset but I wasn't. I don't want anyone else's baby, only mine.
