Just want to come on to offer some supprt to Terrys - i really hope goes well for you today. Could just be an implantation bleed, i has this with MiniG at around 6 weeks and he was fine on the scan. Hugs though, i know it's terrifying.

Also wondering where Battery has got to?

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 24/12/2010 10:39

Iwish · 24/12/2010 11:43

Hi izzy are you going to test early or wait for af? It would be do nice got us to all have a bfp this month so FX for us all.

Thanks nix :) hope you are ok today

TerrysNo2 · 24/12/2010 11:45

Seen consulant, carlisle hosp were fab. Couldn't see anything via internal or external scan but he said there was no fluid which was good. Might be ectopic so had bloods and will get results in a couple of hours. If its high then it might be ectopic (because if its high he would expect to see a sac etc) and if not then redo bloods in 2-4 days. Consultant said his feel was that this is early preg stuff and not enough blood to be miscarrying but I think he was trying to make me feel better. So, we'll see.

sorry for me posts today.

Iwish · 24/12/2010 11:52

Don't worry about the me post terrys. You must have been so worried. I hope everything is on for you hun x

TerrysNo2 · 24/12/2010 12:25

Now bleeding red, I am having on/off mild period pains. Can you guys who have bled tell me what happened when you MC (if you don't mind) and what happened when PG was ok? Thanks!

IzzyWizzyletsgetChristmassy · 24/12/2010 12:27

terrys glad you got seen, will be keeping my fingers crossed for you. This must be such a worrying time for you, but it sounds as though the consultant wasn't too worried so try to relax. Thinking of you x

iwish AF is due 30 Dec, but we will prob not get home till the afternoon and I have deliberately not brought any peesticks with me. So will test NYE if she's not here (I expect she will be); then I will be 13dpo according to ff or 15dpo according to me...how about you? When would you poas?

Iwish · 24/12/2010 12:59

izzy I think af is due 3rd jan if I have a 14 day lp. Might POAS on NYE as I don't think I'll be able to wait much longer lol. you have done well not bringing any peesticks with you! I'd have snuck one in my bag! You will have to tell us how you get on :). FX for you x

spilttheteaagain · 24/12/2010 13:03

Oh terrys my love you poor thing. I'm so glad you've been seen and hope the results don't indicate an ectopic. Let us know how you get on. Fingers and toes firmly crossed for you xx

batteryturkey · 24/12/2010 13:09

Terrys - I want to give you a big hug - both my mc's were missed so I didn't bleed so can't offer much advice - but I am thinking of you.

A quick up date from me - I am none the wiser. After my telling off from you lot :) I sent dp to superdrug and he came back with 2 tests. I did one around 3pm yesterday - after 3 mins - nothing - went back to the test ( I know I know ...) about half hour later and was a really strong BFP - def not an evap line. So I know you should disregard etc so I did another this morning. Test did not work - the control line didn't even appear.
So I broke into my neighbours house at 6.30am (don't ask) and got one form her bedside cabinet (again don't ask) - tested BFN - but obviously wasn't my fmu and was quite soon after my failed one.

Anyhow if you have not lost the will to live yet - I have bought another test today for tomorrow morning. AF is due today - I don't feel like its coming, the nausea is still here along with sore boobs.Oh and my temps are still up....

I will up date hopefully tomorrow as I am at my mums till late.
What do you ladies think?

To ladies on 2ww - I hope you have an easier time than me!

Sorry not to name check - but my nieces are due to arrive soon so I had better finish now xxx love to all xx

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 24/12/2010 15:23

Terrys so sorry this is happening esp when you are away from home, and at christmas time! Hopefully all will still be well though x

My mc was a natural one, at 12 weeks so was a bit further along, hence more 'debris' if you like. I had light period starting with brown for 3 days, heavy blood loss for 7 hours (cant leave the bathroom kind of thing, 4 pairs of trousers in an hour kind of thing....) which included very large clots, TMI but they were very large (ie courgette sized) and then resumed to light period for a further two weeks. It was painfree by the way... nothing more than para and a hot water bottle needed.

Its the heavy blood loss to look out for

I so so hope this doesnt happen for you, i really am rooting for your little bean xxxx

TerrysNo2 · 24/12/2010 15:30

nix what is heavy bleeding? It's now red and quite flowly but not really heavy, mainly when I wipe. What would clots look like?

spilttheteaagain · 24/12/2010 15:43

hugs terrys, have you got the blood tests back yet?

Whilst obviously there is never a good time for something like this to happen, to have all the worry and fear right at Christmas seems particularly tough. I'm thinking of you a lot today, hope you are being cared for xx

TerrysNo2 · 24/12/2010 17:31

Tests say HCG is 250, which sounds very low, I've no idea what it's supposed to be?? Having what feels like a proper period now. Feel shit but I want to enjoy Christmas. Gong back for HCG retest on the 28th

MrsP81 · 24/12/2010 18:47

Thinking about you Terrys, hugs to you. X

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 24/12/2010 19:44

Clots would be like pieces of chopped liver raw. (sorry guys). Heavy blood loss meant overfilling about 6 always ultra pads per hour...sounds like if its only when you wipe its not too heavy.

Rooting for you and your bean x

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 24/12/2010 19:53

Terrys thinking of you and hope that things settle down and you manage to have a peaceful xmas. All my fingers are crossed for you and little bean.

TerrysNo2 · 24/12/2010 20:06

Thanks for responses guys. Although I love the internet I can't seem to get away from it tonight and not how I wanted to spend christmas eve.

Bleeding is like a light period, bright red now but quite light, only leaving a small patch on the pad (sorry if TMI). Have been reading about HCG levels and it seems quite low, I really don't know how to feel, I am a really optimistic person so I always seem to hold some hope (which always makes the fall so much harder but I can't help it), I has a wave of nausea this pm so feeling v confused.

Grrr, I WANT ANSWERS!!!!!!!!

Sorry to bring the thread down on christmas eve guys. I hope you all have a happy and healthy christmas with your loved ones and battery I hope you give us a thread BFP tomorrow! Smile

spilttheteaagain · 24/12/2010 21:24

How are you doing now terrys?

TerrysNo2 · 24/12/2010 21:31

Still same bleeding and very mild cramps. Google is my best and worst enemy. I have no idea really, just wish I knew either way.

I never thought this would happen to me. Do any of us??

spilttheteaagain · 24/12/2010 21:37

I can imagine the not knowing will be driving you crazy Sad

Have you ever had bleeding in pregnancy before or is this new for you?

You're right, you just don't think it will actually happen to you. You worry because it might but don't seriously think it will and then when you're in the middle of something like this it's the most almighty shock. I remember that feeling well. Praying that your little one hangs on in there.

I hope you can get some sleep tonight x

TerrysNo2 · 24/12/2010 21:40

Never had it with DS, my PG was absolutely fine with nothing major at all so this is very new to me.

batteryturkey · 24/12/2010 22:15

nothing to add from me just wanted to give terrys some support. Very sweet of you to think of me when you are feeling crappy. xxx try to rest and get some sleep, try and enjoy xmas - and post when you want to xx
