The (updated) (again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you?ve had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended).

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at every opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronym-age to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed.

Bunting is to be put out for any small victory, thread-parties are held regularly and hugs are always welcome!

Once you have your BFP, feel free to hang around and share your wisdom and virtual cocktails with the JSers.

Excited to hear how the scans have gone today - Vallinna and milano if you managed to get one. Any mroe twins on the horizon?!

What did you see at the cinema TTL? I want to go and see The Kings Speech. Sounds highly recommended, but can imagine it would be just as good on DVD.

BamBam how has the big quit been so far? Fingers crossed for you. Take it one day at a time and consider the reason you're doing it.

I certainly had to remember what it's all about when the alarm went off this morning and it was a shag day. SO not in the mood, but DH bless him got things going . Day 14, so important to get it in. Who knows we might have made a baby!!

Crackpot - you still around?

Mini-Pod is in a gestational sac in my uterus and has a teeny heart beating away. Much relief. It is a solo Pod so no more thread twins here There is an area of slight concern next to it which the sonographer reckons is probably a clot from implantation (I had no implantation bleeding) but they will reassess when I go back on 20th.

Because of the number of eggs retrieved my ovaries are still very swollen plus I have some other areas of fluid under my diaphragm and in the pelvic region which they need to keep an eye on.

Plus the nurse told me to stop the gym by far the hardest thing for me :( It's a realy mental wellbeing/stress relief so that is going to be tough, still reassess that on the 20th too. And it really is a small price to pay! I will (leisurely) walk the 1 hour 15 to work instead

Are you allowed to run still or is that out too? Do you know why? I was planning on still doing my exercise classes...

Nope - seems I am proper Victorian relaxation pregnant woman. Exercise is normally fine it is just the mild OHSS I have concerning them and the possibility of it causing my ovary to twist.

Really pleased for you Vallinna! I am sure that everything will be just fine, and the lovely doctors and midwives will keep a good eye on you. Could you maybe try swimming instead of gym workouts?

I am all geared up for stopping smoking today Miffles. It's terrifying! I had a couple this morning, but once they are gone that will be it. Apart from the TTC benefits, £6.20 per pack is just not on.

DH is off work for a week, so I told him last night that it means that we can JS 3 or 4 times a day.
He looked like he would pass out!

That quickly went down to every 2 days. Never thought I'd see a man so worried about JSing!

I'm sure they're just being extra cautious with all that other stuff, and in all my googling research on bleeding in pregnancy it appears that clots are pretty usual and don't harm the baby. At least if you start bleeding at any time there's a good chance it's just your body getting rid of the clot and the baby will be fine :)

Spotting is down to very very low levels here, yip yip. Hoping crowette has a suitable hangover after the party, and that she enjoyed the after-party even more

Nowt to report here, very quick ERTD (over within 3 days ) but not complaining! Because I was a day late I must have ov?d a day late so must have missed window. I will not make the same mistake next month .

I don't actually understand conceiving.

I mean, I understand about ovulation and sperm meets egg and all that.

But why does it not work everytime?

Josie got me thinking. Cos I wonder if it's true that you "missed the window" or if, for some reason, it doesn't always work.

Like me - on clomid. Know when I exactly ovulated and JSed at the right time. So why not? And the many others who do time things just right.

miffles this is one of the great conundrums of the ooniverse (especially as we try so hard NOT to get pregnant for so long)

I think conception is just bizarre too Miffles. It would be great if you could just decide to TTC and hey presto, BFP! Could strangle those "well-meaning" types who say stuff like, "it'll happen if it's meant to"

Have tried really hard not to symptom spot this month, but have sore boobs and crampy tummy (all normal for me) and have started to feel quite sick. AF will be due on Saturday/Sunday. Could it be a sign, or am I just catching DPs flu?!
