spilt comparing temps to your last cycle...I'd be inclined to agree with FF about ov-ing on CD30. Do you have a treatment plan in place yet for what happens when you get PG again?

hippychick66 · 10/11/2010 16:24

Try not to panic spilt. Cross that bridge if/when you get to it.

Lovely to hear that you've been shagging for fun - important to keep the closeness with your DH.

Hope the hol is helping a bit. xx

LadyGoneGaga · 10/11/2010 16:27

Confusing Spilt. I think I'd tend to go later though? If you look at my WTF cycle (last month) the temps were all over the place. And I got a really short luteal phase. So chances are you may not conceive anyway even if you did it at the "right" time. Have they started you on Thyroxine yet?

When did you get your first negative pregnancy test by the way? Might give us a clue as to when your hormone chain started to kick bck into action. I ovved on day 30 after my mc by the way as well.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 10/11/2010 19:45

Evening ladies! :)

Any sign of AF yet Terrys? Keeping everything crossed for you!

CD14 here today, so OV imminent, and have been getting twingy pains this evening which I'm hoping is a good sign (am not using opks this month). Still no obvious EWCM however, eventhough I've been necking the grapefruit juice and water!

We've been SWI every otherday since CD7 as the doctor ordered, with today supposed to be our "day off" - ttthhhppp to that! I've warned DH that he better prepare himself for lots of action over the next couple of days :)

TerrysNo2 · 10/11/2010 21:58

Hi all. So far no sign of AF (yay!) and period pains wore off quite early in the morning. It has felt really wet down there today [confusing] (sorry TMI!). AF was due today (CD26) if last cycle was anything to go by but only had 2 cycles since DS was born and the other one was 27 days so I'm not getting my hopes up yet. Also from reading other posts on here, random long cycles aren't that uncommon!

I am missing the SWI stage now, its been 10 days since we were in the midst and I wouldn't mind being in it again Wink Enjoy yourselves Iftfirst!! Grin

Spilt Sorry I really can't advise on cycles as I'm so new to this but I hope things become clearer soon.

TerrysNo2 · 10/11/2010 22:00

doh Confused!!

Fedupttcnosuccess · 10/11/2010 22:03

hi guys! just popping head in the door very quickly. sorry not had time to read back...what's happening Terry's?

LadyGoneGaga · 11/11/2010 08:05

What's up, Terry's? I checked your chart but you've not updated yet. Are you ok, hon?

TerrysNo2 · 11/11/2010 09:37

Thanks for asking guys! Temps down in last few days but still above coverline - see here - but I'm hoping its down to rubbish sleeping. No sign of AF and no pains today.

How about you LadyG, how is your charting?

LadyGoneGaga · 11/11/2010 09:53

Still well above coverline though, Terrys! Got fingers crossed for you.

Mine here. Temps up this morning. Boobs sore, had a weird dizzy spell yesterday. But AF could well jut show up tomorrow like last cycle so not getting too excited.

Anyone know about cervix position. Mine is really high at the moment, can hardly reach it. Any thoughts?

TerrysNo2 · 11/11/2010 10:16

No idea about cervix, thats something I'm not monitoring as it always seems to be the same!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 11/11/2010 11:35

Temps creeping up but nothing conclusive yet ladies. link here

I am ignoring FF as I know I've ov from all the other signs. I tried to see what FF would say if I put similar temps in for tomorrow but still it says ov not detected. Bloody rubbish.
Does anyone know if small temp changes mean ov less likely?

Lady and Terry both looking good but like you say, it's early days. the waiting is the hard bit. Here's hoping for you.

LadyGoneGaga · 11/11/2010 12:13

I'd say CD23 for you, MrsArch. You look like a slow rise person. nothing bad in taht, it just takes your bod a bit longer to react to the progesterone. Do you have TCOYF - will check for you tonight what it says. You def did good with the SWIing, mighty impressed. Has MrA woken back up yet?

My boobs seriously feel like they are burning. Maybe I have mastitis? Grin

TerrysNo2 · 11/11/2010 13:38

This wet feeling is driving me crazy. I keep going to the toilet every half hour to check if AF has arrived - she hasn't but it feels like it!!! Confused

chocciechip · 11/11/2010 14:26

MrsA the only way to KNOW for sure if you ovulated is if you get a biphasic-pattern on your chart, or if you have your ovaries scanned. The other signs only tell you that your body is TRYING to ovulate. It is possible to get EWCM at different times in your cycle, and its also possible to get +'ves on ov predictor sticks many times through your cycle. All this means (if it happens) is your body is trying, and failing, to ovulate, and then trying again.

So keep a close watch for those other signs in case they come back. And as tired as you might be, keep having regular sex until you get a definite 100% for sure biphasic pattern (not necessary to do it every night though!).

Also, don't worry too much about what are right or wrong temperatures. Your hormones fluctuate all the time normally, and there are too many outside variables impacting on you to gauge anything significant from small rises and falls. You'll only drive yourself crazy.

My personal view (and I know others think its more accurate) is that the only thing charting tells you is when you have ovulated (even then with a small margin of error!), and if you have ovulated.

TerrysNo2 · 11/11/2010 15:34

Feeling really hot/cold/tired this afternoon and of course reading too much into everything. Can't wait to test to know either way tomorrow. Will be 13dpo so should be able to tell right?

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 11/11/2010 16:25

Oh Terrys I really truly hope this is your No2!
And please come back and let us know when you test. And if it is BFN, so not despair. It took me to CD45 to get a BFP with DD. Just as long as AF stays away.....I do remember thinking I was getting my period every 5 minutes before I knew was pg with DD.

Thanks for the advice Choccie i know the only way to be certain re ov is as you say. What i was meaning was that FF says I have not ov yet, but the way I know my body, I have ov(as long as an egg has actually been released IYSWIM). Unless my cycles are changing for the first time since i can't remember (menopause? Shock), I notice some EWCM at varying times in my cycle but just before i ov, i get huge great globs of the stuff - unmistakeable - I could fill a cup (TMI) Blush

DP and I are worn out and as I've had no CM since CD24, either I've ov or am posibly not going to ov this cycle. Either way, DP and I have now agreed sod it - slippers and cocoa now please :)
If I get more EWCM, we will start again but somehow I think it's more likely AF will appear sometime around CD33 or 34.

TerrysNo2 · 11/11/2010 16:45

Oh poor you MrsA it must be very frustrating not knowing! When this is all over - AF or BFP you will be able to go back and see the big picture but thats not much help now, is it!!

BTW - now DH is home I really want to test tonight. Would that be silly??

LadyGoneGaga · 11/11/2010 17:22

Wait til morning!!!!

TerrysNo2 · 11/11/2010 17:27

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Wink

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/318094

Anyone about that could have a wee nosy at my chart. I'm having to tear myself away from a HPT? Should I? Or wait?

mousebacon · 11/11/2010 20:36

I'd test!! Good luck xx

sufferingbabyfever · 11/11/2010 20:41

Thanks Mouse
Im thinking I'll maybe check my temp in the morning. And maybe give it a go. Negatives are so depressing. But I like my chart. Don't know why. Don't even understand it really!

TerrysNo2 · 11/11/2010 21:25

Go for it in the morning suffering, I will be!!

sufferingbabyfever · 11/11/2010 21:29

Cheers Terrys

Fingers crossed for you!

I kinda just expect it to be negative! Usually is lol
