Hello everyone :) mouse I have been thinking about you , and I really think this could be it :) You would not have ovulated if you still had 'product' left behind, ans as you are sure you did OV then it's looking good for you x
split - sorry to ask but do your nurses know your history - I only ask as they don't usually do smears until 3 months after giving birth, ans as you delivered bobbie - you might want to check (sorry - don't want to upset you but don't want you to worry and for them not to do it lovie)- your chart is looking good for the egg laying too :)

To all those cervix hunters - I can't find mine either. I get very Envy when I hear other people comment on theirs ....it doesn't help that I have fingers like pigs tits sausages Blush

Nothing going on here - have come home in the snow -that journey made my heart beat very fast as it was like a blizzard.

Wave to all - am off to see my friend with her new born and am dying for a cuddle :)

spilttheteaagain · 29/11/2010 15:18

ooh that's interesting battery, thank you. I doubt they know my details so I will ask before it's done. However, when I saw my midwife at booking in (eons ago!) she said I was due a smear but they would do it at the 6 week postnatal check. It'll be almost 8 weeks on Thurs so that's longer than they suggested. I'll let you know! I would rather get it over with if they are happy to do it.

Enjoy that newborn Smile

spilt I have just booked my smear for Monday. It's 3 years exactly since I had my last one (not sure about the UK but in Wales we have 3 yearly ones) and about 2 weeks after my last smear i conceived DD, so fingers crossed!!

Glad it's not just me who can't locate cervix but I'll try the old squat and backwards feel as that's possibly the only way I'll manage it.

Some days i wish i hadn't started charting as now I have, I can't not, IYSWIM :)

spilttheteaagain · 29/11/2010 18:03

Just in case anyone is interested:

I was asking about spotting after AF this month and have come across this info in TCOYF:

"postmenstrual bleeding/spotting... it is probably caused by irregular shedding of the endometrium and small fragments of endometrial tissues. It is almost always thought to be a result of a sub-optimal luteal function in the prior cycle." pg 227

Given that the prior cycle was my WTF one and only had a 7 day LP that would seem like a reasonable explanation. Hopefully this time will be more normal.

mouse everything crossed for you xxx heres hoping. If you got a bfn after EPRC chances are its the real thing!

you could get a digi pg test that tells you 1-2 wks or 3-4 etc? Just to see!

My chart bonkers! have realisd i havent been waiting long enough for therm to beep (imbecile)but they have shot back up above cover line today! Confused AF due tomorrow cd36 so will see, totally symptomless.. lots of montgomerys but they were there anyway!!

GetDownYouWillFall · 29/11/2010 20:13

Ooops Nix re not waiting for the beep! That could explain your lizard-like temps!!

Good luck, here's hoping AF stays away tomorrow. Like you though, I have no symptoms so not holding my breath.

Argggh. How do you deal with the disappointment ladies? Do you wallow for a few days, or just try not to think about it?

spilttheteaagain · 29/11/2010 20:29

GetDown I get cross and grumpy for a few hours and then sad and have a few tears in the evening. Drink wine. Extract promises of extra SWI next month from DH.

CD2 is always better.

Each month I used to try to add one new thing to the ttc malarky so I felt like we were being proactive.

OP posts:
TerrysNo2 · 29/11/2010 20:39

Evening all

GetDown I noticed your chart went up again today (yes I am chart stalking you!!) so all is not lost! And as I understand all PG's are different.

But - last month when I got my BFN - in this order I: cried, wallowed, drank wine, avoided MN for a few days and then picked myself back up!! I hope you won't be doing any of that!!

Nix try using it properly and lets see if you are still technically dead!! Grin

spilt smears are horrid, but after being PG and giving birth its just another day at the docs. Smile

Did you get a nice cuddle battery?

MrsA I have silly long fingers and some days I can only just reach it. I do it in the shower so there is extra lubrication IYSWIM. Blush

batteryhen · 29/11/2010 20:48

terrys I had the best cuddle with her little girl. She was all dressed in pink and is beautiful. I did have a bit of gulp to myself but I loved it. Particularly as my friend had a MMC at 12 weeks previously so I can chat away to her and she knows what it is like. Also she used FF a lot so she always asks how my temps are etc :)

nix sometimes my thermometer takes ages to beep - but I just leave it in as long as poss. Give it a go :) xx

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 29/11/2010 21:11

check todays out]]

it would help wouldnt it..... tis not helped either by DS getting me up every hour post 3am i think its had an effect also!!

GRR! Mine also takes ages to beep and (i need a torch) so i take it out to see if its on or off (bear in mind sleep deprived and half awake!!) which must have an impact! Also waiting for it to beep when DS is howling is not great timing!!

must try harder
at temping
and at SWi'ing

FF said SWI efforts were poor this month Hmm i thought twice around OV was quite good!! Grin

waves xx

TerrysNo2 · 29/11/2010 22:15

Nix I always feel awful because DS wakes up crying atm and I make him wait the 1/2 mins it takes the thermometer to beep. I use my phone to see the result and then type it in my phone, also quite handy if you are half asleep and not sure, mine stores the last taken temp.

battery newborn cuddles are awesome!! I am sure your friend will be getting her cuddle fix from you in 2011! Smile

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 30/11/2010 07:18

goodness me]]

bordering on feverish!

LadyGoneGaga · 30/11/2010 07:33

Nix. Ahem, your temps have been "up" for quite a long time if you've not been temping right. Might I suggest a little POAS action?

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 30/11/2010 07:47

URM..................

did a little poas action

OMFG - how did this happen? its only a BFP

Grin Grin Grin

TerrysNo2 · 30/11/2010 07:53

OMG - Yay Nix and BabyLizardNix Grin Grin

We are on a roll Ladies!!

OK, just inputting my temp into FF, FX for a coverline.....

TerrysNo2 · 30/11/2010 07:54

Gutted Sad Sad

TerrysNo2 · 30/11/2010 07:58

Huh Confused I just messed with the OV detection settings to see what it did (FYI Research and OPK methods said CD16, as I thought) but then I deleted it and went back to FF Advanced but I now have a CD16 OV day?!!? Oh well - I guess that should be a Grin then!!

LadyGoneGaga · 30/11/2010 08:09

Whoop Nix Grin Grin Grin

Really pleased for you, hon!

Fab you got your crosshairs, Terrys. Just to wait a couple of weeks now. Just shows though...you don't need the expensive OPK's. Glad this batch worked for you (would have felt guilty otherwise)!

Had another acupuncture session yesterday. Chilled me right out. She's working on the bits relating to confidence and also the bits to encourage blood flow to the baby etc. Knackered today though....

TerrysNo2 · 30/11/2010 08:18

The other batch were cheaper LadyG, I will use these ones from now on!

Also, LadyG I am very chuffed I started cervix checking as its definitely gone back low, closed and firm, its very satisfying!

GetDownYouWillFall · 30/11/2010 08:37

Wow Nix Shock and Grin

spilttheteaagain · 30/11/2010 10:03

Fantastic Nix!

Still chuckling at you not being able to work your thermometer Grin

Can we have a list of the BFPs so far then?

LadyG, mouse and nickster (have I forgotten someone else, that doesn't sound like them all...)

Ones to watch are GetDown and coastgirl as they come towards the end of the 2ww...

OP posts:
WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 30/11/2010 10:35

I know am such a wally arent i?! Bonkers isnt it... i thought it was all over when i saw those temp plunges into Freezing!

Long way to go yet, a day at a time... but 8 weeks to the first hurdle!

GetDownYouWillFall · 30/11/2010 10:39

I'm so chuffed for you Nix it's fantastic Grin

Thanks re, those who are watching me!

I actually feel a bit sick today and had really bad period like cramps in bed last night, but no AF this morning, so.... maybe? But not holding my breath. Boobs are not sore at all and that's always been a tell-tale sign for me in the past Confused

We'll see what temps are doing tomorrow...

spilttheteaagain · 30/11/2010 10:51

Hehe, I hop you don't feel overly stalked GetDown Grin
