TTC a 2011 baby

Hi all
I didn't want to hop on a bus because i'm not really aiming for a specific month to have a baby in so i thought i'd start a general "trying to conceive a 2011 baby" and see if anyone wants to join me :D

Awwwww!! I'm the same, I've even started looking at how to decorate the nursery...
Not a good move...

I got to be honest I think if I was you I would of tested already haha!

im hoping for a 2011 baby, i would of had one in auguest but miscarried at 8 weeks, 2days before chirstmas day, were now trying again but im soooo confused by it as i dont know when im most firtile, ive tried using the ovuslaition calculators but as ive been putting in the first day of my last period as the day i lost the baby its saying i should of come on last week. :( been 5 weeks since my mc and ive not bled yet....sooo confused :( help please

chelsea so sorry to hear that, it must be very hard for you.

Your body's been through alot its probably still recovering and when the time is right you'll have your AF.

I'm using the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor, its supposed to tell you exactly when your due to ovulate. I'm on my first month so not getting any results as of yet but fingers crossed.

So hard not to look though. Have you been watching one born every minute? I was so broody after watching it!

Chelsea welcome and sorry to hear about your mc. You may be having a longer cycle this time which would explain why you aren't on yet so you prob will have ov'd later. X

thanks for your help :) ive been feeling kinda sick the past few days but no other symptoms, so i think its just worry and stress thats making me feel this way. just wish id hurry up n bleed so i know my bodys back to normal so i can have a baby. ive already go a 2 year old but still think about the baby i lost all the time, really wish i was pregnant lol

Just bought a thermometer on ebay so I should have it in the next few days. Eager to see my temp changing!

i missed last nights one born every minute so i watched some on youtube, some girls are sooo over reacting, i know childbirth is scary and painful but im glad i wasnt that bad, some girl was asking for a epidural at only 2cm!!! i didnt go to hospital for pain relief for ages n when i got there i was 7 cm lol

Chelsea this may sound like a stupid question and maybe a little insensitive so I appologise if so but could you be pg now? I know a few people get pg the cycle after mc.

iwish: ive been thinking the same thing, although i havnt got sore boobs or anything else, usually im moody as hell in the first 2 weeks and sleep loads n get readlly sore boobs for a while, i did a test a few days ago and it came back negative. although it wasnt a clear blue one wich i trust compleatly, it was just a cheap one coz i couldnt wait much longer, i cried when it came back negative. me and my boyfriend just really want a baby, his nan died 2 days ago n they say a death makes way for a baby so were hopeing we get a positive test soon

I wouldn't worry about the ovulation tests too much - the month I conceived my daughter they hadn't worked at all so didn't bother with them second time around. Best just to have as much sex as possible and you can't posibly miss the right time. Good luck!!

iwish honestly some of the girls on there make me wana slap them, listen to what the midwives say as they deliver babys all day every day and they know what there doing, its nothing like what some of the ppl on the show are making it out to be honest. if your good with pain you will be fine. i refused any other drugs other than gas and air and i had one needle of pethadine right at the end, only coz i was doiong ok with the pain and i didnt want the baby to be drugged up as some can pass to the baby, gas and air and pethdine doesnt tho so i was happy to have them, just the one dose of pethdine tho, i didnt want to be off my face lol. im glad i had little pain relife coz my lo was blue when she came out and not breathing, sooo scary, but shes almost 2 now and a menace :)

I have my fingers and toes crossed for you chelsea you desurve happiness after what you've been through.

I missed last nights OBEM I'll have to catch up later when DH is in work (he cringes when watching it) lol.

I really hope its not as bad as they make out I dont cope with pain v. well

smilie aww dont worry either way the baby has to come out, and i was only 18 when i had my little girl so i was proper scared, ive been told i was telling the midwives to push the baby back up and i was trying to get off the bed to go home LMAO!! but its sooo worth it, the pain hurts but its not a pain where ya think "omg im dying" coz ya body somehow copes with it, and afterwards you just forget about it...its hard to describe lmao

chelsea for your loss. i would wait another week maybe then do a test, it may take about 6 weeks for your cycle to start up again. good luck

iwish am not testing this weekend as i have my sisters staying on Saturday for my birthday then we are all heading home for my nans funeral on Monday and not back home until Tuesday. So as it is - it is prob a good distraction as i can prob test around Tues/Wed.

right, i have to go now and get me and my little girl ready, im off to the shop as shes been telling me for the past half hour she wants a banana or (narnie) as she calls them, no doubt its appples she wants...all friut is narnies to her lol, still cnt complain, she loves her fruit.

hello ladies, well after saying to myself i wouldn't POAS early.... i did. not sure of the result??? it was a boots test the 1 with the + sign for a positive. there is a definite horizontal line but very very faint vertical line. hoping i've just tested too early as due on fri..... so will wait till then i think.

Talking about jumping the gun (looking at baby clothes etc), I have already chosen names, and decided who will be bad cop.

Never realised this would all be so hard, my sister (who is gorgeous and fab at everything), got pregnant very easily and I find it sooo frustrating.

I have only been really trying for 2 months but we have not used protection for about a year, and I am worried about my age :(

i have also tested early and was defo a BFN fingers crossed that it was just me being stupid and that i can wait until Sat 1 day late and its a BFP.

OBEM gave me a few tears. DP was in the bath as he avoid watching this at all costs lmao!

Hi smilie Summer fraggle and anyone else I've missed.

My temp shot up today, highest it's been this cycle. Still getting cramping and sicky feelings, nothing bad just a bit off colour type thing. I think it's far too late to be an OV temp shift so, without trying to get my hopes up, I think it might be something else. Have decided I'm not going to test until Sunday, if AF hasn't shown up. That will be a 33 day cycle that matches my longest in the last 12 months.
