Hello everyone - I am actually finding this thread really hard to keep up with Confused

PinkFF - I am ok, thanks for asking, well okish. I am still bleeding from MC which started 5 weeks ago and found out today I am anemic which is another reason why I am feeling so crap.

Choccybick · 13/10/2010 00:02

Hi peeps
KT don't worry about keeping up with everything. Yes things move fast and I was baffled in the beginnng. I've not been in all day and can't believe how much is going on today.

I'll keep it short n simple today.
Hugs too all who need em.
Like "fanjo" Personally call it my powderpuff. (was a uni girls thing and name we invented back in the good old days).

Feeling crap again. Now having major wobble. You know I've been feeling sick for the past week .... Now tonight my bottom of back is hurting and I can hardly move. Am tucked into bed. so my assumptioN is kidney infection ....... Friend just said it might be ectopic Pregnancy but I had BFN and AF. I'm sure you get none of those two..... J Have been googling like a mental hypocondriac. Am off to the docs at 8 am. 7
hours to go. Hope they will have an answer.

Sorry for MeMe but I'm a bit worried.

MummyAbroad · 13/10/2010 01:13

Chocky poor you, glad you are going to get seen to asap. Having a BFN would indicate that it is unlikely to be ectopic however you cant rule it out completely as some people do test BFN initially (HCG levels are lower than in normal pregnancy) It is still poss to have ectopic and AF though, if you did it would be lighter than a normal period . Have you got a stash of tests? If the pain gets worse its worth doing another one.

Have you got any other symptoms, feeling dizzy? feinting? shoulder pain?

Whats A & E like in Germany? Do you feel bad enough to want to go get seen now?

Sorry you are feeling worried, I realise I am probably not helping with all these questions... The main thing is you are going to the docs and that is good.

Let us know how you get on xxx

PinkFondantFancy · 13/10/2010 06:53

urban soo know exactly where you're coming from on the DH front but mine is starting to buy into it as I think he's realised it's the easiest way to stop me being so mental! Haha my DH drinks grapefruit juice because he actually likes it!! Whoop!

batty good luck with exams today!

in-between hugs for you. One of the things I'm saddest about is that so far going for a scan has been a sad upsetting experience. I'm hoping one day soon I can be one of the excited couples smugly rubbing my tummy :(

kt don't worry- I've only been keeping up cos I'm off sick with the cold from hell, it's almost impossible if you've been away all day!

choccy good luck at dr today, it sounds a bit like kidney infection to me, let us know how you get on.

Hugs to everyone, sounds like we're all having a bit of a wobbly time at moment, hopefully today will be better. Lucky for you all that I don't think colds can be spread through mumsnet, otherwise I would have stuck to a wave instead :)

PinkFondantFancy · 13/10/2010 09:56

Hey chocs how did dr go?

inbetweener · 13/10/2010 10:25

Morning everyone,

Choccy sorry you feel so rubbish. Wow 5 weeks is a long time ((((()))))))) Did you go to the DR's ?

Well I am back at work today. I figured there wasnt much more I could do at home and to be honest I have so much work to do here. Got in this morning and one of the Radiographers announced she is 12 weeks pregnant. Soooo jealous. I know that makes me a bad person but i cant help it. The green eyed monster well and truly came out. I couldnt even sit in the staff room, I had to say congrats and go back to my desk.
Its not even as if I have anything to be jealous about, I have to lovely girls so why cant I just be happy with that. Im a bit Shock with myself at the moment. I need a kick up the bum.

My bleeding is slowing right down too. Im not surprised though, I cant believe how much there has been.

Right better do some work. I will try and get used to you all. Its easier when I am at work and not at home I can get on more lol !

Wombat33 · 13/10/2010 14:35

Afternoon all. (((Hugs all round))) Thanks for your lovely responses. It's great to be able to share these crazy obsessive gut-wrenching thoughts with people who really understand where I'm coming from. Am trying and failing to be much more positive tooday Grin

Well done mummya and mummya's dh* for arranging a second opinion. Good luck! I really really hope there's some encouraging news for you and they can put an end to your long wait and uncertainty.

Inbetweener eek, I feel for you with the colleague announcement. I have close friends TTC too and although objectively I know that there's isn't a finite number of babies to go around and their happy news when it commes won't in any way diminish my chances, I'm bracing myself. I just hope when the time comes I am able to react in the way I hope and not in the way I fear I will. You response to your colleague's news sounds very brave and composed. I'm glad your bleeding is slowing down too.

Hope you're cold is getting better PFF (and anyone else who's suffering - we seem to be a sickly bunch at the moment!)

Choccy what did the doc say? Hope you're feeling better and not so worried this morning.

KT hope your bleeding takes its cue from Inbetweener and stops soon and you get some iron for the anemia that makes you feel brighter.

I poaOPKs this morning. No smiley face but then I'd have been very surprised to get one. Makes me feel like we're back in the game though. I hate the 2WW and AF times - it makes me feel so helpless just waiting! Still not feeling quite right, so have made an appointment with a different GP tomorrow morning. They'll probably tell me I'm being a hyperchondriac but at least I'll feel reassured that I've done what I can :)

Hello to everyone else - I can't flick back a page without loosing what I've typed and that's all I can remeber so apologies if I've missed out important stuff xxx

MummyAbroad · 13/10/2010 14:47

Thinking of you chocky, hope you are allright xxx

Wombat33 · 13/10/2010 14:50

Thought we should update the stats. I've given it a go but forgive me if I have messed up at all - which is highly likely GrinGrin

choccybick how are you doing, lovely? Let us know how you got on at docs x

inbetweener - well done for facing up to work so soon, and having to deal with of announcement too - eek! That's a hard day Sad. Hope you're doing ok now. I found the stress and emotion really exhausting in the early days, so look after yourself and rest as much as you need to.

Also tunnocks and mouse and ktrace - how are you all doing?

wombat good luck for docs tomorrow, hope you get some answers or at least some reassurance

mummyabroad good call re seeing another gynae - if nothing else it will set your mind at rest. Hope all goes well tomorrow night

nicks - yep think you should grab dh for post-ov shagging, it might not be too late Smile

pinkff hope you're doing ok and AF has relented a bit now...

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 13/10/2010 17:08

Oh- also, I know we were letting people graduate themselves, but I haven't seen StarflowerGirl around for ages - do you think she'd mind if we graduated her? ( Starflower if you're out there, speak up Grin )

Velvetcu · 13/10/2010 17:49

Wow you girls have chatted a lot today!!

Cant remember who has said what but here goes! MummyA what a lovely DH helping you out with gynae :)

Whoever said DH is onboard with anything now to stop you being mental - mine is too!

YRMOTB how were the exams?

Wombat - hope the Drs sort you out tomorrow

Inbetweener glad the bleeding has slowed down. I'm still immensely jealous at PG announcments and my MC was in May so dont worry about feeling bad!

How are you Choccy?

Hi Izzy Still no news from me - no AF, no darker in the pants department and no POAS. I'm pretty convinced AF is coming so I dont want to waste a stick! Will do one Friday morning if nothing new has happened.

Hello to everyone else

LadyBee · 13/10/2010 17:50

Hi all,Izzy I just did a quick stalk search, and StarflowerGirl is posting regularly on an antenatal club so I think she's jumped into a graduate status - I'll move her.

I'm also going to take barrenbrook off and put her into waiting. For those who don't know, unfortunately she started bleeding last week (I think it was) and is pretty certain she's lost this one in her 4th miscarriage Sad. I asked her about removing the announcement on another thread.

I'm also just going to remove the cycle & day count from some of those at the top who haven't been around for a while, I'm pretty sure they're not pregnant but those cycle lengths aren't likely.

Choccybick · 13/10/2010 18:09

Hi everyone

HUGE THANKS for asking about me and worrying with me. I went to the docs this morning after POAS (again!) and having BFN. Just wanted to check if there really was anything there and was worrying about ectopic scenario.

Well my doctor died a few months ago from cancer and the other doc in the surgery was on hols so saw woman doc covering, who is very nice but i still really dont know whats going on. told her about mc in July (i had just been to my gynaecologist - its like that here, you have different docs for everything- just GP for general stuff) anyway she tested my back knocking on bits for kidneys. was uncomfortable but not great. the bits which hurt were on the muscles so her conclusion: muscle probs. my pee samples are showing no signs of anything. oh well. tablets and have to go back if feeling gets worse.

so much for worrying.......
but still slightly not convinced its just a bad back, esp. after feeling rather sick over past week.

anyway.....Im at SKIN doctor tomorrow which is in same building as my gynae - so if im still doubting and in worse pain I´ll ask there. having a mole on my arm removed tomorrow after it looks bit funny over past 2 summers..... best be safe.

will have a nice bath later on - DH forbid me to do it when he´s not home (well he said so today when im not feeling well). I fainted once in our old flat and fell onto red hot radiator and burnt my thigh and ended up with severe burns. Aye....Im always at the front of the bloody queue.

okay..gonna check what else is going on. Just wanted to give a life sign first. x

Jamface · 13/10/2010 18:49

Glad you got checked out choccy and have got the all clear. Hopefully the other pains/nausea you have will wear off once you start to feel better generally (actually, I remember now, before my last mc I felt really rough for about 4 days, back ache, shaky chills, really bad throat. I don't know whether it was connected as such, but probably just a sign of a low immune system and my body generally being in the wars.)

Good luck with the doctors wombat.

Thinking of you mummya and hoping you're doing Ok.

I feel slightly better today. AF still not started properly but think my very emotional last few days was partly due to PMT (as well as the usual end of cycle slump. Just after AF I feel so optimistic and anything is possible, but as I can feel AF approaching I get really down and pessimistic. I'm sure I'm not the only one).

x

nickstermum · 13/10/2010 19:15

Well hello my very gorgeous and glamorous chattermonsters :) soz been awol, (if only for 12 hours) monster day in Brissle, back to back meets, now at home in Jims, DS in bed, sausages in the oven and shag time later WHOOP :) (obviously not with the cooked sausage, a real one Grin

2 positive opk yest and 2 today so judging by the cramping i have ov'd today! (jeez day 24!) and yes have been drowning moo glad others have experienced it also :)

FX for me... and no MA we shagged only the once nearly 10 days ago so unless DH has been guzzling critters by the bag load the chance of swimmers being up there still are NULL & VOID!

Catch up properly laterxx

AandRMum · 13/10/2010 19:23

Well the list of crap associated with mc continues. I went to dentist today as have very sever toothache driving me nuts. Found out it isn't toothache but rather I have been grinding my teeth so badly I have strained my jaw muscle and am risk of cracking my teeth .... of course I can't take the nurofen prescribed in case I am pregnant. We have also just found out our train for our weekend away has been cancelled due to the bloody French strike grrrr double grrr That will help with the grinding teeth!!!!!

nickstermum · 13/10/2010 19:40

Between glad your bleed is slowing down, and well done for being strong around that announcement :) you were strong!!

A*R you can get gum guards for teeth grinding, may be worth it? To wear at night, am sure your DH would appreciate the look Grin

MA WHOOP for the supportive DH Grin xxx glad you are ok xxx FAB that you are seeing someone else, you may get answers!

HUGS to everyone who needs one, JAm KT sorry you are finding it hard to keep up, it moves mega fast on here, pop in whenever you want, you dont have to namecheck, just say hi or have a rant!! xxx

chockster What did the doc say? are you ok? Hope so, hugs xxxx

Right thats me done.... off for some sausage xxx

sausage and fanjo hmmmmm!

The was a young lady called anjo
who had a very big fanjo
liked having some meat
tasted very, very sweet
and when finished loved strumming her banjo

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

appleblossoms · 13/10/2010 19:55

love it nicks! and glad you've been reunited with your DH whilst your opks are still positive, hurray! Enjoy your evening Wink

choccy sorry you haven't really got any answers...hope your body starts to play along soon and stops making you feel all poorly, now that's just not fair.

oops on the grinding front AandR, maybe you need to get some massages for relaxation?

Glad things are easing inbetweener, try and rest up a bit. it really does take it out of you, I just wanted to curl under a big duvet and not come out for a year week.

so, went to the doctor this afternoon..I love my GP Smile He's going to arrange an early scan for me and did his best to reassure me. Not much I can do about the insomnia, excpet stop worrying Hmm not sure that'll happen, but hey.

sorry for not catching up with anyway...supposed to be in a meeting, but they're running late...should really be pretending to do some work whilst I wait.

big hugs to all feeling glum today, hope tomorrow is better...

and velvet.... have you POAS yet? Still got my fx crossed for you!!

Choccybick · 13/10/2010 20:03

LOL Nickster the secret poet

A&R I grind my teeth really bad too. Was in the past 6 years or so when I had a really bad time (before I was ill for a year with burn out) and only was identified when i was in hospital. jaw was always blocking and my tooth crakced. my dentist also made me some guards to wear at night in bed (yes a serious turn off for DH so theyre not getting much use in the last few months) I even managed to break one from biting so hard. I also had some physiotherapist pulling away at the muscles on the inside of my mouth....not the kind of thing thats nice, having rubber gloved peeps fiddling and pulling your cheeks.
Its called BRUXISMUS - have a google. You apply so much force and pressure that its strong.
They do say you chew things up in the night in your sleep. perhaps its just the added stress of TTC
do go and get a plastic shieldy thing.

My friends also took the mickey out of me the first time i had it in at a girly sleepover...but it gets a few laughs. better than false teeth anyday Grin

okay...DH is running my bath. Off for a soak and will put me feet up and watch the apprentice later on.

byeeeee

MummyAbroad · 13/10/2010 20:08

GrinGrinGrin@ Nix's sausage puns

chocky - glad you are OK. I hope Izzy is right and its just that you are a bit run down.

wombat more good luck for the doctors.

Jamface you definitely arent the only one. I've been up and down on this hormonal rollercoaster so many times, now I feel sick and I want to get off!

NickyNix I must remind you about my last ov - it was three days after the positive pee stick, so you are still in with a really good chance, I reckon. Are you temping/checking cervix - or are all efforts being concentrated on the sausage area at the mo? Grin

AandRMum sorry about the teeth and trains and french people Sad

MummyAbroad · 13/10/2010 20:11

x posts with everyone

Love the poem!! Grin Grin

nickstermum · 13/10/2010 20:18

Therm in the post and ewcm has pretty much disappeared but horny as a goat still Blush TMI so all the other symptoms are there :) give it a go, u never know xx

PinkFondantFancy · 13/10/2010 20:20

Hello all!

Try not to stress about not feeling cheerful at the moment wombat, I think having up days and down days is pretty much par for the course. Hope the GP is helpful tomorrow!

Hugs inbetweener I think you coped with the announcement in a very composed way. Plus you've got hormones going crazy at the moment too! Don't beat yourself up over it, I spend my life in terror that one of my friends will tell me they're pregnant and I won't be able to be gracious about it Blush Glad bleeding is slowing down too.

Eeeek exciting lack of news velvet, change of colour without AF following rapidly behind has to be a good thing. And it's almost Friday!!!! You have got so much willpower, I am v. v. v. impressed. Good news on the DH front too, makes it sooo much easier.

Thanks for cleaning up the list ladybee, there aren't as many of us around here as I thought considering the pace this thread moves at!! :)

choccy you poor thing, you really have been through it over the last few months! Keep an eye on yourself and don't be scared to keep going back to them if you're not getting any better. For what it's worth, I've been feeling a bit pukey for a week or so now, maybe it's some kind of virus going around?

jammy I know exactly how you feel - it's hard living from month to month with the huge peaks and troughs of emotions :( I'm determined to try not to get my hopes up during the 2WW this month but we'll see!!

hugs for AandR, what a horrible day :( Is it worth trying some paracetamol? I know it's not as good but maybe it will take the edge off?

Whoop for nicks, hope DH was obliging today!! Grin Hahahahahahahahahahaha loooooooove the poem :)

apple why are you still at work so late?? Great news on the early scan and helpful dr

I've been hanging around for the Apprentice but so knackered I don't think I'm going to be able to stay awake until 9!! How lame is that! Am feeling much more human today so back to work tomorrow I think!

PinkFondantFancy · 13/10/2010 20:25

Oh also, I got my BBT thermometer but it doesn't work so I've got to send it back :( Sticking with the standard digital one for a bit until have tracked down another. Just so you all know, here's the one I'd avoid: www.amazon.co.uk/DIAGNOSTICS-CENTIGRADE-TEMPERATURE-OVULATION-THERMOMETER/dp/B002HHBB0C/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1286997790&sr=8-5

nickster less chat, get on with it!!! Grin
