Thank you for the kind messages ladies. The bleeding is slowing down now and I took a pg test this morning which was only a v feint positive so it looks like all the hormones are going in the right direction. Fingers crossed for no ERPC. I kept a journal whilst ttc and pg with DS and began another when ttc this one so the plan is to put the second book in our memory box and start a new book for a fresh start.

Thank god for weekend telly eh? The acts on x factor certainly kept me distracted last night!

Hope you're all well and the BFP ladies have their feet up Smile. Xx

MamaPower · 10/10/2010 20:28

Evening all,

Had a fab weekend, popped down to kent and also saw a very dear friend today, she has an 8 week old baby and rather than bursting into tears, enjoyed lots of cuddles (with the baby not my friend) Smile

Quick catch up!

Grin Grin Grin congrats apple Grin Grin Grin

Velvet, did the old bitch turn up or is your body playing silly buggers??

welcome mouse

Good news hairy

Right, think some of you have messaged me about bookface so off to read and search for your pretty faces!

Waves to all

AandRMum · 10/10/2010 20:58

MamaP so glad you had a lovely weekend - hugs with an 8 week old are lovely - brilliant that you could just enjoy it.

Can I join the fb crowd ... please? What do I need to do?

Actually could someone more savvy than me on MN re-direct some lovely ladies over to this thread. They have both had recent mc and could most probably do with some chelsea buns and a couple of buckets of wine ... hmm possibly not the best combination. They posted today on a thread with just their two comments (I'd direct you but .....)

Have spent the weekend at a good friend's house as dh is away in the US. It really is lovely to have a bit of sunshine and away time.

Mouse your memory box sounds perfect. The diary concept is lovely. I have already thrown away things in the 'moving on' 'need to be practical about things' etc mode, which given what MummyA was saying will most probably end with me in a complete state when it really hits me.

Velvetcu · 10/10/2010 21:03

No MamaP she is definately not here yet and not on her way any time son by the looks of things!

Anyway, I'mm rubbish with the fb thing - have tried searching for you all but cant work out which person by that name you are as there are so many! Help!!

MamaPower · 10/10/2010 21:16

Velvet Boo!
AR, what's the name of the thread they're on? and i'll go find them Smile
Just sent you both a message with my email address to find me on fb and a list of the rest that choccy put together so when you've added me you can easily find the gang from my friends list x

MamaPower · 10/10/2010 21:23

AR consider it done! Found their thread and put a link there for them on your behalf Smile

KTRace · 10/10/2010 21:32

AR & MamaPower - many thanks for your thoughts I would love to join you guys if you will have me.

Briefly - have had 2 MC, one at 9 weeks (Dec 09) and a MMC at 10 weeks, lost it at 12. The second one I lost a month ago.

Will go back and read the thread.

AandRMum · 10/10/2010 21:45

MamaP you are a truly resourceful woman. I was madly trawling to find the thread again. Things move fast in here! Can't believe Goldie is out of Strictly already Sad.
Hi KTRace you are more than welcome. I am so sorry you have ended up here but the ladies are lovely and incredibly informative - a perfect place to moan obsess avoid contact with the outside world work through it all.

Velvet I hope your af starts behaving itself soon or better yet your body pulls together enough hpt to get the bfp sorted.

nickstermum · 10/10/2010 22:19

KT sorry you have found yourself on here, as with everyone we hope it will be a very short stay - no offence! I have seen you knocking about on a thread or two.... not certain our paths have crossed!

MP yey! Well done, thats part of the grieving/recovery process isnt it?

Just wanted to say thanks for everyone who has delightedly befriended me on bookface, it makes me feel not quite so alone on there! Liberation was step 1 and getting back into socialising was step 2 - golly i sound like the "MC...steps to final recovery" councillor!

Had a bit of a chinwag with the old goat, (DH) who informs me he cant cope with my obsessiveness about TTC and that he will help work with me to get my fertile dates right...although what i really need from him is swimmers at the right time!! Grin Grin am sure they will come too :)

Its amazing how a bit of sunshine makes you feel so good xxxx

MummyAbroad · 11/10/2010 01:55

welcome KTRace, sorry you find yourself here, but its a great place to be, these ladies are all lovely Smile. I have seen your name on lots of threads too, to be honest I thought you were already part of this thread! It is so big and fast and there are so many of us, I just thought that perhaps you hadnt posted in a really long while. Anyway now you have found us, pull up a seat and make yourself at home.

Well I have just fed and watered an entire Costa Rican family plus extended relatives visiting from Miami (thats a lot of peopleGrin) Thank the lord for slow cookers, bread machines and dishwashersGrin

No sign of AF yet, PLEASE let it be tomorrow!!

Velvet - looking very promising (!) still got my suspenders on so keep us posted hon xxx

PinkFondantFancy · 11/10/2010 08:26

Morning all!

I have the most disgusting cold ever, and as I am on CD36 now with still no sign of AF, I daren't take any drugs so am feeling very sorry for myself!!! I am going to be sooo peeved if the old witch rocks up later on this week and I could have been killing my cold with a cocktail of drugs! So am relying on the power of orange juice alone to make me feel human again...

Will post properly later when I'm feeling more human! xx

LadyBee · 11/10/2010 09:18

Hi pink you can take paracetamol when your pg so shouldn't be a prob when ttc, but appreciate you may want to be cautious. Steam inhalations with olbas/Vicks and that forehead stick are quite good. Poor you, hope it passes quickly.

I'd quite like the excuse of a cold to stay in bed today...last night was great but too much wine, a cocktail and after dinner whisky are now making themselves felt.

On phone so another brief post. Welcome to the new ladies, I hope that we can give you some support and company as you recover from your losses and continue on the ttc journey.

inbetweener · 11/10/2010 10:22

Hello all,

Can I join please. I have 2 DD aged 6 and 8 and I have been trying for a third.
I got a BFP last Monday and then on saturday I had brown discharge. At about 5ish this morning I started bleeding lightly. I am now sat in work feeling bloody awful. I am dizzy and actually bleeding quite a lot. I have just been to the loo and sobbed my heart out as I seem to have just lost a large clot.
I am sorry if that was TMI or upsetting, I just havent anyone to talk too.
Im not sure what to do.

I am soooo upset. I know it was early days and people experience far far worse then me, but ouch this hurts.

So I would love to join you all to get me through. I know this sounds like a ridiculous quesiton, but in terms of trying again do I count today as the first day of my AF ??

Oh i want to go home and cry.

KTRace · 11/10/2010 10:33

Many thanks to everyone for your kind welcome.

inbetweener - I am so sorry for your loss, can I suggest that you do go home, it is not nice bleeding anywhere least of all at work, plus a good cry will do you good if that is what you want - take care xx

youremindmeofthebat · 11/10/2010 10:51

inbetweener Go home, if you can. this is a time to be cocooned and feel sorry for yourself. you have my permission..

hello KT. Sorry to find you here, but welcome anyway.

Soo, ds was sick all friday night, and last night so was I! rotten, poorly tummy and feeling very sorry for myself. It's mainly better now though, just in time for work tomorrowHmm

velvet it's all sounding good. Fx for you!

jam it's a nightmare isn't it? it's all sent to try us, I had a 40 day cycle last month, and a 30 this month, go figure..

ladybee Congrats on your anniversary. Paper? did you have a lovely time?

mummyA well done on your mammoth cooking session! bet it was busy in your house.

youremindmeofthebat · 11/10/2010 10:54

whoops hit post.
pink there's a lot going round, I think. it's freshers flu here (near a largely populated by uni town)

mamap well done on the no tears and getting cuddles. I am proud of you. glad you had a nice time.

Off for a bath now, dp has rang saying he feels ill, uh oh!!

youremindmeofthebat · 11/10/2010 10:55

ps D'you like my Halloween name GrinGrin

Jamface · 11/10/2010 11:14

very seasonal YRMOTB! The season has started when the children will have runny noses until easter and we'll catch everything they have...

I agree with the others inbetweener, if at all possible try to go home. If you don't want to tell your boss the truth just make something up; another illness, some bad news from home you've just heard.

Hello to KT too, I'm sorry to find you here. I hope you find the comfort and advice and humour you need to get through this x

MamaPower · 11/10/2010 11:27

YRMOT...BAT ha ha ha! Love it!

Welcome to KT and Inbetweener (is your name after the series? Funniest thing ever on TV at mo!). Sorry you are here. InBetweener, go home and look after yourself.

Oooooh sending happy bean thoughts and baby dust to Velvet and Pink (I so think you two are upduffed) Grin Pink also agree with LadyB re: paracetamol!

Nix Glad you and DH had a good chat and he's helping and supporting you Smile I also spoke with DH yesterday about the TTC. He is a little bit massively pleased that I have thrown Ov sticks and Thermometer in the bin and has pledged plenty of SWI, big whoop for DH! Anyway he's off to hosp this afy for an op so he'll be at my merci for at least the next week Grin Grin Grin

Hope you all have a good week x

appleblossoms · 11/10/2010 11:33

Oh PFF sorry you're feeling rotten... try a paracetamol swiftly followed by a mug of hot squash...you tell your body that it's really a nice mug of hot lempsip and it works a treat - got me through many a cold when pregnant with ds! when are you going to test again? still have my fx, makes it slightly hard to type Wink same goes for you velvet!

inbetweener I totally agree with the others, go home if you can, curl up and let the tears fall. It is a crappy CRAPPY thing to happen, so sorry you're going through this. Have you thought about going to the EPAU? I had a mmc so don't really know what you do with a natural one, but I know my SIL went to get checked out when she had one..

Welcome KT sorry you're here Sad but these ladies are fabutabulous!

YRMOTB love the name change, tis pumpkin time again... sorry you've been sick. Hope you feel better really quickly. Take an extra day off, should leave it 48 hours after last 'episode' before going back to work. . We had the opposite end problems last week Blush All better now though.

So I called the GP this morning and booked an appointment for wednesday...meant to wait until 8 weeks, but I said I really needed to speak to him and as I had a mmc last time I'd like to try and organise an early scan and the receptionist just said 'oh, okay'... loving the pregnancy hormones though, burst into tears when I got off the phone as I felt stupid for having made an early appointment! at least it makes me realise something is going on inside!

Happy Monday to you izzy, mamap, mummya, jam, lady, nicks, AandR, Dasch, PV, mouse and everyone else.

DachshundsRule · 11/10/2010 12:00

Hello people.

We seem to have a lot of newbies. Sorry you find yourselves here. Welcome all - you'll need some supplies

apple congrats! and I hope the appointment goes well.

I managed not to murder my builder after all, even though when I got home on Friday (he had promised me he would finish) he hadn't been at all! He did eventually answer his phone on Saturday and came round to finish the job, but it was a ll very stressful. DH and I were supposed to decorate the lounge and dining room at the weekend but obviously we couldn't finish until the builder had gone, so instead of being mainly done on Saturday we had to spend most of Sunday working too. But now it's all done! (Apart from the carpet on the stairs and the landing, which is being fitted on Saturday). So when I go home tonight I'll be able to enjoy it - last night we were too knackered to do anything except burble gently and stare at the TV.

I could have done with the weekend off though - have got a horrible snuffly lurgy which some of the rest of you seem to be suffering from too

Take care all - have a nice Monday

DachshundsRule · 11/10/2010 12:01

YRMOTB - great new name!

Choccybick · 11/10/2010 12:19

Hellooooooooo

Inbetweener I agree totally with the others. Please tell your boss you feel sick and go home. Go to the doctors tomorrow and tell them to check you out (or to the EPAU near you) they should take a look and will be able to confirm or clear your mind.
I had a natural mc at 7 weeks in July. It happened similar...first a bit of brown spotting then the next day full flowing and horrible cramps. I spent Tues-Friday just going back to the hospital everyday so they scanned me and took my HCG values in blood until they could confirm they went down and there was nothing much to see and no more heartbeat. Fortunately I didnt have to have the ERPC.
PLEASE take the time off this week! Even though it helps taking your mind off things at work, its not the right place to be when your bleeding and very upset. Get yourself on the couch and drop in here - we´re there for you.

KT sorry to see you here too - but I agree with Appleblossoms - we are a fab bunch and you´re in the right place.

Apple no need to feel silly. You did the right thing..

YRMOTB Bat? very halloweenish....are the kids knocking at the doors already??
Im quite sad Halloween isnt a big thing here, although the Germans are cottoning on to it slightly. But I will be in Dublin for Halloween this year and will drink some Guiness or maybe not...depending on AF....
I love PUMPKIN time too....Ive already made 2 big batches of pumpkin soup. yummy....but usually Im sick of it by the time November comes. Have to go easy this year. Esp. if I want to keep in DHs good books regarding SWI

Velvet Wink PVV Wink we´re eagerly awaiting your positive news....Wink

Nickster also had to laugh at your post about your DH thinking your´re obsessive about TTC, Mine too.....at least I proved a point yesterday by doing it without having a "green" day. Grin I´ll probably hear something about sexstrike mid next week again.

Mummyabroad wow thats a hell of a lot of food.Confused Hope the chilli went down well.

Ladybee how´s the hangover??Grin

A&RMum Hi -got your fb message. :-)

HI to EVERYONE else i haven´t greeted personally. There´s just so many of us in here, its sometimes impossible to remember everything. I feel somewhat braindead on Mondays anyway. Im at work and needing some time away from my marketing number crunching today. not my kinda thing at all.
Would you believe i had to scratch ice off my car this morning and now its 20° and ive been sunning it in my lunchbreak. no wonder my body feels confused. Grin I was playing with the idea of Grin POAS Grin despite having AF because i feel so dizzy and strange since the past week. Perhaps it really just is this weather.

Okay....speaking of numbers - I´ll attempt Mondays list! Smile

Jamface · 11/10/2010 12:37

Me again. I have a question and thought one of you ladies is sure to know the answer. So, I've started spotting and am pretty sure it's AF coming. Do I count the day I start spotting as day 1 of cycle or when AF starts full flow? Also, spotting started 10 dpo. Does that mean conception would not have been possible due to short luteal phase or does luteal phase end when proper AF starts.

Something else to worry about Angry

youremindmeofthebat · 11/10/2010 13:21

FF counts it as first day of normal flow, jamface. I think LP ends when AF starts, A short one is less than 10 days. Do you temp for Ovulation, ie are you certain you ov'd when you did, iyswim?
