There you go.

Boba, I'm definitely deflated. There are six babies due in RL from next month through to March [three at work, three in the family]. All I hear is baby talk and I'm not a member of the club. How are you doing?

boba82 · 11/11/2010 10:53

Exactly the same Lychees, 4 babies just born in RL and another due in April. Plus the neverending interrogation from people "when are you having kids?", "Don't you want children?". Even my best friends in RL are always saying "it'll happen soon enough". They are totally aware of my situation and they mean well but they don't understand and it's so easy to say that when you're 5 months pregnant or cradling your newborn not having had to try at all! I am starting to feel like it will never happen for me. I'm not in a downer ATM, trying to stay positive as first month on Clomid but I can't imagine ever getting there IYKWIM? Thank God we've got this place & each other! x I'm off to do my 2 minute silence x

OP posts:
chocciechip · 11/11/2010 14:17

Me too ladies. Having a VERY bad day. Someone I know close to me is two days past her due date. I'm so low I could cry and cry and cry. Nearly a year since my second MC and I stupidly thought we'd at least have had another MC by now had a BFP by now. I'm finding it very difficult to believe its going to happen for us, and it makes me feel horrendous every time that gut-churning realistion bites.

Ilovekittyelise · 11/11/2010 20:35

So I know everyone except me knows the answer to this. The whole peak days thing. I knew on Tuesday I was ovulating/about to ovulate. I got the peak symbol on Wednesday morning and again today (it requested a test this morning as well). well basically I know it caught the end of my LH surge yesterday morning (weds) and now the CM is back to normal, OV pains gone, etc, basically, OV was definitely before today yet peak shown. so is the monitor still testing the urine or is it just pre-programmed to over-ride and give 2 peak days despite the reading? or maybe i had a double egger?!

To all you ladies that are having a bad day, huge hugs to you. I know how empty it feels to be childless when you want one so badly; I might only be on my first cycle of TTC number 1, but there was another number one who I had to terminate at 13 weeks back in August.

Love to everyone and hoping for some strong babydust for us all xxx

birdietimesthree · 12/11/2010 09:04

Congratulations stormbird and notnearly Smile

chocciechip I'm sorry you're feeling low. Nothing useful I can say and I don't want to start throwing around platitudes because I know how annoying that can be. Just wishing the very best for you and everyone on here.

ilovekittyelise, I think the CBFM is programmed to give you two peak days. I've only had one complete cycle on it but it did the same thing for me last month.

As an aside, has anyone had acupuncture to boost fertility ? I should prob start another thread but thought I'd check here first. I've had it for various other things in the past and it's always worked well for me. Had a first appointment the other day and it was suggested that I should stop using CBFM and charting for three months, just have sex when we feel like it. Hmm. Not sure I can do that. She also said that it can take up to two years to conceive naturally and she wouldn't necessarily assume something was "wrong" until then. Against that I was told by someone at Zita West that if I haven't conceived within 6 cycles of well-timed BDing then we should see a doctor.

As far as I'm concerned the earlier we find out about any identifiable problems, the better. I don't want to wait two years to find out I have a blocked fallopian tube or something.

I guess my other question is : how long did those of you who have had fertility tests etc. wait before going to get checked out ?

Sorry for long post.

boba82 · 12/11/2010 10:48

I waited 10 months then Gp referred us to FC where we were seen after 12 week wait. They have since confirmed DH is ok but I have PCOS and a blockage in right tube' on treatment now. I think most areas won't refer you until you've been trying a year unless you've got problems with your cycle?

that's pretty much what I've heard aswell. Best of luck with treament boba

Anyone had EWCM on a 'low' day ? I'm on day 9 which was peak day last month but still low this month, but I also have ewcm. Would have thought it would record a high at least Confused ?

PinkCustard · 13/11/2010 16:07

Well I prematurely got excited about my early High on day 11 as I'm now on day 15 and still waiting for my Peak Angry. It doesn't usually arrive until around day 18 but I normally have about 3 days of Highs - not 5+ days!!

Oh well, will keep on at it Wink

Keziahhopes · 13/11/2010 17:56

Great attitude Pink

Choccie - I have just posted on your new thread on Conception.

Well, we have a very small glimmer of hope - but trying not to hope ... consultant letter now needed. So annoyed I seem to be having to jump through so many loopholes - if my dh did not have male factors making us not have children no-one would force me to have an abortion or adopt or anything... grrr...

Starlet22 · 14/11/2010 10:07

Hello ladies, sorry have been utterly rubbish at posting - was on hols for two weeks (bliss), then back to work where I've been working 80/90 hour weeks and will do for the next 3 weeks or so. Am completely exhausted and am going to quit my job as time is ticking away and I have no time to have a normal life let alone one where I can concentrate on me and trying to get a BFP!!!

Anyway, I am on the run as working (again) but just wanted to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Storm!! Woo hoo! and also to notnearly Grin

Also, my thoughts go out to all you ladies that are having such a tough time right now. choccie, keziah, lychees, boba - hope you are all okay.

I'll be back in about 3 weeks when, hopefully, my life will get back to a degree of normality (and when I also (finally) have a hycosy booked in on the NHS).

XX

Hi Michelle, I have added you to the list. Most people here find that the first month the machine seems to be "learning" more about you so it tends to give different results (my non scientific explanation) or that you may not have ovulated yet. Most months I get 3-5 highs, 2 peaks, then 2 highs before going to low - but some months (sadly been ttc#1 for too long) I have had lots of highs and nothing else. We keep ttc anyone and hope!

Ilovekittyelise · 14/11/2010 21:18

has anyone ever ovulated more than once in a cycle? obviously the monitor isnt going to pick this us up as you are no longer POAS....however, i got peaks this month on day 13 and 14 (im convinced i O-d early on the 13th); now its day 17 and i feel all crampy again like i did on day 12 before i ovulated.

Confused
michelle2222 · 15/11/2010 07:51

thankyou keziahhopes for adding me, i know im new to this but have been reading all your comments and would to congratulate storm!! other news i got my peak today, i cant wait till my partner finishes work at five hehe

Lychees · 15/11/2010 10:27

Keziah, every little bit of hope is worth holding on to. Good luck, hun.

Starlet, hope these three weeks rush by and then you can slow down and relax.

Birdie tbh I don't take much notice of EWCM so can't help but someone else'll probably know.

ilovekittyelise, I think it is possible but rare to ovulate twice in one cycle.

Welcome Michelle.

Hi to everyone else who I haven't name checked.

boba82 · 15/11/2010 10:55

Welcome michelle & congrats on the peak! Have fun later Wink

How are you lychees?

Hi to everyone, did you all have a good weekend? I stayed in all weekend & od on reality tv!
