...was going 2 wait til end of the week 2 test with my 1st response....BUT I CANT HOLD OUT THAT LONG!!!
have taken the advice of someone on another thread i read a few days ago and gone out and brought a couple of superdrug cheapy ones that i can pee on 2 my hearts content (sort of!), and unless 1 shows up as positive (here's hoping) will save more expensive 1 for end of week-or longer IF i can manage it!
so.... here's waiting til i next need 2 go, and will b taking my special little gadget with me...

not sure if my syptoms r in my imagination-but they certainly feel real!!! obv. now it has sunk in that this time around wasnt 4 me-but symptoms still there, tho not as powerful as b4!

I am still BFN, but still got high temps though so thats promising. Just been asking some expert opinions and have decided I am 13 DPO. Hope this doesnt go on for much longer, I want to know one way or the other!!

Hey mummyabroad can you go to the docs and get tested that way? i'm being a bit dim here but do you just take your temp the normal way? how high should it be to suggest pregnancy? just wondering if i should try that too!

I hadnt thought of that, I guess I COULD go and get a blood test (I live in Costa Rica, its easy here, it costs about £15) I am a bit scared of getting a negative though! I will have a think about that....

I can really recommend temping, its great to know that you have definately ovulated and where you are in your cycle. Its only my first month thats why I am not totally sure of the date, but its really exciting to be able to see whats going on in your body right from the first month. You do need a special themometer called BBT. They are quite cheap, worth it because they work faster than a normal themometer and measure in smaller increments.. you have to take your temp every day as soon as you open your eyes in the morning, but before you get out of bed. (your tempreture changes a lot when you are active, so you must read your "resting" temperature) You can enter your data on Fertilityfriend.com and it will make a chart for you and tell you when you have ovulated. (you can input the data in your iPhone if you like and sync it with the site later). If you want to learn more go to www.fertilityfriend.com and sign up for the free tutorials. They will teach you all about temping and other stuff like how to identify when you are fertile by checking your cervical fluid (pant snot as it is known affectionately on MN)

sunface af came, tho usually heavy for 5days then tails off for 2days. this time the normal (sort of heavy) part only lasted 2 days then pratically stopped, with just a bit of spotting for 2 or 3 days. but got BFNs, so prob just my body playing tricks on me, am now awaiting the arrival of the rest of it!!

amazon tests arrived 2day, so can now test 2 my hearts content! perhaps i should have ordered the 50pack!!!haha

Hi all, i didn't test today and I'm starting to think it's all just wishful thinking and that the symptoms have all been psycho- symatical (or however u say it!) and no sore boobs today.... Af not due for 3 days, will hold off till then!

Ah tictac, i'm with you. I have promised myself to hold off testing for a week (yeah, like that'll last!)as AF not due till the weekend or early next week My boobs are aching but that could be from my exercise class last night.....
Felt kinda sad today as this would have been my due date had i not MC'd.....

needed a wee a lot today, i didnt even realise how often until someone at work commented, and slightly swollen ankles (cant usually see the lines where my socks end on my legs), but again, tho perids had been a bit all over the place, bleeding was still when i would have expected it and still got bfn's after (aswell as b4 of course)

sunface well dun u 2-so far.... tho ur right, it prob is 2 early 2 test. there r those who test positive a week b4 their af due date, and others who dont test positive until several days after missed af...trouble is not knowing which 1 u may b but wanting 2 know asap!

My granny had 9, she said she was so busy all the time (with farm and work too) that she never noticed a missed period, it would only be when she'd start vomiting and getting bigger that she'd think "Oh God..."

lying down (and stood up actually) does anyones lower tummy-from pelvis down, ish, feel hard? prob a strange thing 2 notice bt have been having sum pain and aching there. is that normal? i've never felt it b4 that i can remember-other than being pregnant.

Broody it can be a preg symptom or ovulation though that's more eggy :-)

I'm going to test in the morning, first pee, can't wait any longer!!!

only 1 more day, then if no af mayb test again sunday morning?
i know they day 2 test 1st thing in the morning as its more concentrated, but with my 1st i tested few days after af would have been due and got bfb in afternoon-and i prob hadnt held on for 4hours as i didnt know about any of that at the time.
i think so far its just barbielovesken who's had bfp on here, mummyabroad and sunface both waiting to test.

HELP !! have just done amazon test, theres a faint (not v.faint but not as dark as the control line) line, BUT its just underneath where the plasticy bit is - so not quite where it says it should be. could i b?!?!?!
am going out 2 buy a test when i pick the kids up from school/nursery after lunch. wish me luck :-)

haha bless ya. have brought 1st response pack. but will wait a few hours (if i can hold out that long) b4 i test with them. dont want 2 get false negative 4 not holing out long enough 4 it 2 b concentrated enough!
1st 3 months is always the longest, then after the 1st-and most amazing scan u can relax much more-until u start thinking about the labour that is (our nearest maternity unit is about an hours drive away 4 starters). u'll b fine. keep thiking positive and TRY 2 relax-best xcuse 4 a few soaks in the bath me thinks!
