Settle down girls settle down as I hand you all a yummy pornstar cocktail complete with a sparkler and tacky umbrella. I take it we are all wearing our fabulous vintage 50's frocks, high heels and have our red lipstick on? Make yourself comfortable in the penthouse... the naked butlers are just heading in with grapes and truffles in trays...

All new first timers welcome - as long as suitable goodies and alcohol are dropped into the penthouse for all to share.

Oh and no AF around here - only FERTD.... Capishe??

Wow Frolickers what a day you've had on here! Huge congrats to Roam and Kurly and hypothetical, hopefully soon to be confirmed congrats to you too Crazy muchos excitement!

My good news is that stomach ache yesterday did indeed lead to ERTD today and after a fairly respectable 33 days. So am now starting to count days but would like to stay where I am on the list until cycle 3, as I should know my UCL by then.

Garden sorry your scan didn't give you the news you'd hoped for but fingers crossed it's just bad timing and there is more to come.

Hello everyone else and sorry for the brief and quite self-focussed post. Will try to be better for the rest of the week.

felicityFlick · 02/09/2010 04:33

Good Morning my darlings,

Are you girls trying to give me a heart attack?!! Every time I log on there is something wonderful to see (hypothetically of course Wink)

CRAZY! I can?t wait until you wake up and test again. I shall say no more until you are back but I sure am glad that I have a free period this afternoon so I can sit and refresh the page for your news! Hope you slept ok honey.

kurly also waiting for you to come back and tell us what the CB digi says about how preg you are! Bet you have not stopped smiling :)

gymbunnylanky loving all the talk of your flexible working schedule post baby. It sounds fab to be able to work on one project a year! When will 6 weeks be up so you can have another test? It?s been about a month now hasn?t it? Still no signs of FERTD this end.

Yep toria, my appointment is on Monday at 5pm which is 10am your time :) So glad that you are feeling loads better! Bless the little, young doctor Grin My mum always says about her ?young? doctor ?He only looks about your age? and I say ?yes, but I am 27 mum?! It?s like she still thinks I?m 16! Glad you?re feeling positive and that your goodies arrived, a bumper postal day in the toria household, I love it when those happen! Nice to hear about the butterflies being a good sign, I love superstition and signs so next time I see one I will think of all of you ladies.

garden I am a late ov-er too and I think day 12 is way to early to show anything going on in there. You have text book ovulation signs so I am certain that you are ovulating my love. I am sure my body would behave the same as yours if it?s any consolation Grin Shall I send Mr.Flick your way to give you a ?firm but fair? talking to?! Not that I think you need it of course. I?m so sorry to hear that you think you had a chemical pregnancy earlier this year :( and no, I don?t think two positives can be a fluke. Just read your later post, OF COURSE YOU?RE GOING TO OVULATE IF THERE ARE 3 FOLLICLES ON EACH OVARY! silly consultant- doesn?t he know that not everyone ovulates on day 14?!

tomboy glad your dh is feeling better and op went well.

Pleased your ERTD came truffkin hope its not too much of a nasty one and that the rest will be just as regular.

florin glad your DH is feeling better and that SWI was partaken in! Good luck at the doctors this morning- sorry I don?t have any questions to ask but if you think of some can you let me know for Monday?!

cherry the ?H? is for Harden!

cave how is pinklady? Send her our regards next time you see her and tell her to pop back! Love that you linked to the FF site :) You really are the guru and Miss Flicks special teachers pet!

womanly thanks for asking after me, my appointment is on Monday. How are you though honey? You didn?t say in your post. Hope all is ok and that the SWI- athon has been going well.

higheels I am repeating your mantra and alternating it with my old favourite ?I WILL have regular cycles?! Glad you?re feeling lots better. The course situation sounds like a nightmare, I have been through something similar and was very stressed because I couldn?t really plan long term and felt like I was just surviving day to day.

evil please come back when you have your FERTD. I feel like a needy child begging people to come back/stay but I don't like loosing my cyber friends :)

I have told Mr.Flick that all of my cyber friends think he is lovely so he is a bit chuffed today I think and is likely to let me have more MN time at home without moaning this evening!

Mega busy day today but will be back to refresh for amazing news this arvo. I always think it?s funny when I say I?ll be back later as it doesn?t make any difference to all of you as you are asleep anyway! :)

BYEEEEEE xxx

crazybutterflylady · 02/09/2010 06:17

Morning!

Thanks for all the lovely messages, you girls are lovely Blush

So I did another test at about 5am this morning. I didn't really pee on it properly I don't think as I was half asleep... but there's still a faint line on there!!!! I am Shock and don't quite believe it yet. I think I will do a pregnant/not pregnant test on Saturday just to be sure... 48 hours of utter impatience but I want to be absolutely sure.

And even then I am not sure I will believe it... so you are not rid of me yet! Grin I don't have many symptoms other than TMI WARNING bigger nips that seem to be somewhat 'excited' which is what made me do the test in the first place... I feel a bit crampy today but I could just be imagining that.

...and breathe.

I must jump in the shower now but will post properly when I get to work.

xx

CaveMum · 02/09/2010 06:35

crazy yay! Another line! I'm pretty darn confident that we are no longer in Hypothetical World! Congrats to you and MrC! Totally understand you wanting to take a digital test in a few days time, but try not to spend too much money on tests!

Morning MissFlick thanks for the praise Wink. I'm afraid it is all down to having too much time on my hands in the evenings (no DH) and a memory like a sponge! I know I'm very lucky as I tend to remember things having only read/seen them a few times (not a photographic memory) but it does mean I have an awful lot of rubbish random stuff stored in my head!

PinkLady is in fine form, I believe she is lurking on here so is pretty up to date with all the goings on!

I'm off to Salisbury today for work so probably won't be able to post until later this evening (signal depending) so hope you all have a lovely day.

kurlyvoice · 02/09/2010 06:51

Pregnant: 3+ weeks!!! Grin

How have I been pregnant for this long!?! And now I have to go to school and pretend that all is normal... Ha! Thank you for all being lovely, and I promise to stick around and post lots.

Crazy, am loving the sound of your lines - get thee to a CBdigi for the 3rd one!

crazybutterflylady · 02/09/2010 06:56

Thanks cavey Grin

I'm going to take kurly's advice and go for a conception indicator one. *kurly I think that from the date of your last P isn't it, so I am about the same. I think!?

I can't believe we got 3 BFPs in a day!!!!

xx

Florin · 02/09/2010 07:28

Wow can't believe all the bfp around here all very exciting. I've been to docs appointment, he was uncommunicative just sent me off for an ultra sound. But I guess that is good as I will fast track myself to getting my ovaries checked out to see if they are all working properly. Just got to wait for my appointment now, they don't normally take very long round here so hopefully here within next few days. Anyway I feel it's something positive !
Hope everyone has a great day.

CaveMum · 02/09/2010 07:33

Yay again for Kurly

Garden I missed your post about 3 follicles earlier (is it just me that thinks that would be a great name for a pub! The Three Follicles!). Anyway, from my days working on the stud and trying to get mares in foal I can confirm that you are right in that your follicles can still mature. Generally your body will grow several follicles before one becomes dominant and the others shrink. Of course if more than one follicle continues to mature that is when you can end up with multiple pregnancies Wink.
there is definitely still hope.

Right, must dash off to get ready. Happy Thursday all!

cherrycobbler · 02/09/2010 07:50

Brill news crazy! Florin sounds positive that although your doctor wasn't great at the bedside manner he has packed you off for a scan. Good luck and keep us updated!

Have a great day everyone

felicityFlick · 02/09/2010 08:03

Yipee, you're all up Grin

and what fab news you bring. So happy for you bothcrazy and kurly Grin Grin

crazy looks like we will be having a little Luella or Martha or Felix or Rufus very, very soon :) Thrilled for you sweetie. Can't wait to hear more.

kurly will you go to the doctors soon please so we can all find out how pregnant you are?! Get your self booked in for a dating scan and put us all out of your misery! Just goes to show that you were obviously ovulating despite your irregular cycles :)

I feel a little bit sick with excitement- I wish I had someone in RL to tell about 3 BFPs in one day! Mr. Flick says 'oh that's nice' but doesn't get why I am so excited!

The next thread has to have The Three Follicles in the title :) Great name for a pub cave! Have a good day in salisbury.

Glad you've got a scan booked in florin Hope the appointment is speedy for you- until then 'KEEEEP SHAGGING'

felicityFlick · 02/09/2010 08:04

Whoops, I mean put us out of our misery kurly! Not your misery as in you are miserable! As if! xx

highheelsandequations · 02/09/2010 08:10

Morning girls. Had a sneaky peak at work to see crazys result and woo hoo another line! On phone so can't post much but back later to catch up. Have a good day everyone. And loving the pub name cavey!

crazybutterflylady · 02/09/2010 08:48

Yay I love the idea for the new thread title flick brilliant! Maybe you should start it Grin I hope I will be allowed to pop in for a lime & soda now and again. I don't know what I will do with myself if I do get a BFP and have to move on, sob.

kurly I agree - hope you can get an early scan, how exciting!!

Florin good news about the scan - shame about the stupid Dr. They obviously forget to teach these people about customer services. Grrr Angry

cherry sorry to hear about BFN...but you're testing early right, keep trying!! and we were both wrong about flick's "H" - haha I would never have guessed Harden. HTFU sounds a bit like something a dominatrix would say flick!! Wink

Glad to hear pinklady is well cavey - hope you had a lovely night with her.

raspberry you sound like me with your eating. I love Haribo. First thing Mr C said to me after the faint line was "say bye bye to your beloved haribo, no more percy pigs for you". Sod. Fingers crossed for another BFP on saturday for you!

So sweet of you to pop in highheels, hope to chat to you later.

Hi to everyone I have missed. Am not really with it today Confused

xx

crazy please stay! I miss people so much when they leave- tbh, we hardly chat about TTC that much anyway! Usually we just chat about make up, spots, tv and any other inane jibberish :) I don't think you should go!

womanlytales · 02/09/2010 09:20

Hearty congrats to crazy for your bfp and of course we would to have you around, in and out like flo and mrswajs and all the others who pop in and about...
Love the pub name and next thread title cavemum
Florin I totally hear you on scheduling the scan as a positive thing..you have something to do rather than just go by days and not sure of what's happening where..
garden 3 follicles is fantastic Are you scheduled to go in for a re-scan? Also, when they saw me in non-clomid round of follicle monitoring, they saw the 12 mm 'dominant' one and then tracked it to 14-15 (when they expected it to be 18 or so..) were dissapointed that it wasn't growing any more..so took a blood test - E2 and LH I believe... Turned out those were OK and I ended up not ovulating based on Progesterone rates 16 and 14... So confirmed that I didn't ovulate. This whole monitoring thing is a tricky science. Even if a follicle gets dominant, it might not end up developing and releasing that egg... I am glad you're doing all you have been asked to - - the days ahead will be tough because all we can really do is sit and wait till our ovaries cooperate.... but we are clomid buddies remember so let's have those lovely cocktails lanky suggests and try to-- relax. LOL, so easy to type, so difficult to do. Big hug :)
flick I am doing ok. I had my scan last week - they spotted a follicle and said I need to get going with the swi No more scans - just a Progesterone blood test next Friday. I am terribly nervous and feel like we should be at it every day but the consultant said every other day and not to tire out DH's swimmers. TMI warning - though I had quite a bit of CM over the weekend (day 6-7), when we did swi I was very dry (cd 9)... I have read that Clomid can reduce the amount of CM so have added this to my list of anxieties - as if I didn't have any. Any suggestions on how I overcome this issue?

Love the number of bfps what a lovely way to start September YEAH :) Lots of baby dust to all of you and keep shagging and keep testing :)

LankyLegs · 02/09/2010 09:23

Oh really what bloody great news crazy am soo very pleased for you as you are a total sweetie! I bet you are feeling all over the place today - don't blame you - I would be the same! I vite Rufus for a boy and Luella for a girl - lovely names!! Promise you will come back and see us?!

Can't believe the frolickers got a hat-trick in one day! Whist at the Three Follicles?! (Love that name cavey)

Kurly well done -love those conception indicators that actually tell you are pregnant - must be nice to see it spelt out Grin

How is everyone else today?

Tomboy really pleased the op went well for MrTomboy too - hope he is recovering nicely.

Highheels hope you managed to get some practice SWI-ing in - good to start early. It can be hard work though trying to rustle up the energy after work after all the chores etc!

Raspberry in cyber world everyone has abs of steel Grin however you sound super active with all you riding and everything so no doubt you do! I am trying to get rid of my cider podge after a summer of cider and wine! I tried on this gorgeous Reiss dress of mine last night that I was hoping to wear for a fancy lunch tomorrow but low and behold I think I am developing back boobs/tits - its gross!!! I have been kidding myself I can still get into my size 10 dresses etc - and some of them are starting to feel a bit tight so need to get back into hardcore exercising again! I love food and wine too much though!!!

Garden i think you should listen to our cavey and keep on shagging in the hope that you will defo ovulate - just a bit later. Never give up hope - we have to keep going!! Hope you are feeling better though.

Cherry sweets don't give up hope - still early days so don't despair about the BFN yet. Keeping everything crossed for you!

Truffkin pleased that ERTD arrived so that at least you can crack on with the next cycle - and like you said at least you will get to know your regular cycle length too. So what yummy food did you have your dinner last night? Chateau briand for two?! Wink

Flick sorry there is still no ERTD but will be thinking about you on Monday - really hope you get some guidance/answers etc. It's just a pain not knowing. Have you given up poasing? It's been 2.5 weeks on this dose of thyroxine so will phone for a blood test today. Thanks for reminding me! I feel much better already - really hope its the right dose. My sister's consultant (she goes private lucky cow!) said that I defo need to get the right dose sorted as hypothyroidism does effect fertility.

Florin pleased that you have your scan booked as well. I had similar pains and got a scan and they found a cyst which apparently is normal at certain parts of your cycle but I am heading back on the 15th for another scan to ensure it has gone. Its good to get these things looked at.

Hello to everyone else too!

No SWI-ing last night - but am aiming for every other day this month and maybe a little more over the weekend! Have a plan to seduce MrLanky this evening which involves a little more than my usual flashing of the boobs! Also - we have lunch booked for 6 of us at marcus wareing tomorrow - and last time we did this it ended up being a boozy lunch followed by 6 hours in various pubs and bars and not sure how that is going to fare with ovulation on Saturday Confused Hmmmm.....

Other than that very boring here! House purchase still going though - I can not wait to get out of my horrible block of flats - ok they are not that bad but being there for 7 years I am royally fed up on living surrounded by noisy people. Oh I am dreaming about my 100ft garden, driveway and own front door - although slightly concerned that this does mean that we are officially grown up which is also scary!

Ok - so I have tomorrow afternoon off for this lunch but am thinking that I might as well take the morning off too - what's the point of coming to work for 3 hours and plus an hour commute each way right? Hmmm....

LankyLegs · 02/09/2010 09:28

Hello lovely womanly

WIth regards to the dryness - I heard that EVO is good - but only in the run uo to Ov. Also drink bucket loads of water which should also help.

Any other suggestions? Flick isn't there fertilaid for women too which is supposed to help.

You could also try pre-seed lubricant (sperm friendly) I brought some but MrLanky had a hissy fit and refuses to allow me to use it. Men hey?

OP posts:
crazybutterflylady · 02/09/2010 09:42

womanly for the dryness there's something called Conceive Plus which you can get on amazon (I think). A lot of people seem to say good things about it on there. Thanks for the congrats. I feel like I am tempting fate though, isn't this far too early to be sure??

Ah Lanky I welled up a bit at your post, you're so sweet thank you. My favourites are also Rufus and Luella!! Mr C isn't so keen on Rufus. I gave him that and Rex about 2 years ago and this morning he says Rex has started to grow on him. I have gone off it slightly though... typical! Sounds like you have a lovely weekend ahead, saucy minx!!! And I vote take the morning off! :)

xx

womanlytales · 02/09/2010 09:47

Thank you lanky - will try the pre-seed lubricant. Enjoy your morning and lunch off :) Love the name Rufus though only on Wainwright... absolutely love that chap.

Truffkin · 02/09/2010 10:16

Morning Frolickers and what an exciting day it is with the third BFP confirmed!!

Absolutely agree we should organise a Frolickers night out at the Three Follicles for the next thread - great idea!

Thanks Flick for your ERTD concern, it's actually not too bad at all. I'd forgotten that back in the mists of time when I had regular periods, they were light and nit very long lasting so hopefully this has stayed with me all these years later and I'm getting back to normal finally. I remain positively upbeat and keen to start a new month of TTC juuuuuust shaggin'

Have a great Thursday girls (nearly the weekend already yippee!)

kkas · 02/09/2010 10:24

congrats crazy i was on the edge of my seat but so excited to hear there is def another line. keep us posted if you do a CBD!

hi to everyone else. sorry i don't join in too much with all the chatter but i do follow along and love hearing all your lovely news :) i'll try to be better at joining in from now on!

Truffkin · 02/09/2010 10:30

Posted before I saw yours Lanky thanks for good wishes, we had boring burritos for dinner last night so nothing fancy! A bit green eyed at your trip to Marcus Wareing tomorrow though and am definitely voting for full day off work, it's the only way to go!

We are at the England game tomorrow evening at Wembley and have friends visiting at the weekend so am fairly sure we will have a boozy weekend with lots of eating out. That should set us up nicely for a the start of 3 more weeks of JSing!

crazybutterflylady · 02/09/2010 10:30

thanks kkas - I am considering one tomorrow morning now (how quickly it jumps from Monday Grin )

Hi truffkin... enjoy the shaggin :) and have a great Thursday too xx

JosieSmith1 · 02/09/2010 10:39

Morning everyone

Crazy how exciting!!!! Grin Grin

I am absolutely shattered today so haven't caught up on here very well yet. Took horsey to a jumping competition last night and got 3rd and 5th! Not bad for our first comp outside my yard! Then we had to ride back in the pitch black, it was great fun, doing it again in 2 weeks time when the jumping is on again.

Anyway, I was late home so no SWI last night so that's three of the 5 best days I've missed so far, so I might extend the SWI to after day 14 just for good luck (and fun of course! Grin)

Here's to more BFPs this month!
