Congrats on your peak HairyT Smile

hairytriangle · 09/09/2010 07:41

Gag. Still getting used to cbfm. It's a high not a peak but thanks for the congrats anyway

PinkFondantFancy · 09/09/2010 07:56

Hello all!! Thanks for all the choccies that's been passed this way, trousers don't fit now tho!! :) I'm feeling heaps better now thanks. Colleague has been really good about trying to be subtle when showing people scan photos which in itself makes me a bit sad as ordinarily I'd be first in the queue to see them, but anyway am very grateful to him for it. Not so subtle is the group of men that have dp's with due dates around what would have been mine talking about midwife appointments and birth plans etc as I would have been by now too I guess. Anyway it's a fact of life that people have babies so I'd best get on with getting over it and making one myself!! So on that front I am practiing fertility yoga poses and am going to get more hypno off mil at the weekend!

Fingers crossed will go on hold to Cyprus but turns out the week I originally wanted to go is half term, eek! So just figuring out if I can find a way of going sooner and resist tr urgeto spend too much money on it!!

Hope you all have a fab day! I'm going to try and only pop in from time to time as I need to try and concentrate on something other than ttc otherwise I am going to drive myself crazy!!

By the way, dach although it's clearly unhelpful, the image of the otter dog licking the other's wounds for it is so sweet :)
Arsecrackers, the other dog not the otter dog!! Phone won't let me correct it's interesting predictive choices!!!

PinkFondantFancy · 09/09/2010 07:59

Also phone clearly doesn't know the difference between its and it's! Grrrrr!

PrettyVacant1 · 09/09/2010 08:16

Morning all,
Wow, this place is moving so fast nowadays.
I have been meaning to catch up, but with the house and having a nightmare couple of weeks in work, I've not.
Sorry guys.

It's sad that so many have found their way here but so lovely to see how witty, strong and supportive you all are for each other.
As an oldie Sad on this thread I have seen so many lovely ladies come and go over the last year, some long termers like myself whom I've got to know well.
At the moment I'm not quite sure how I'm feeling about all this 2WW, poas, giving myself stoopid deadlines so it's not that I don't care and believe me reading your posts make me smile I've set up a little splinter fred where it's a little less hectic.
Everyone is welcome to drop in and when my head is less fuzzed I'll come and join you all again properly.

I'm sorry not to namecheck all, you are all fantastic, strong women and will get through this. Xx

hairytriangle · 09/09/2010 08:59

Aw, PV sorry you are having a hard time :(

I felt disheartened last month in a similar way - haven't been around on the thread that long, but I am an oldie (ie: advanced years). I may well take 'shelter' in your new thread soon. x

CaribouMoo · 09/09/2010 12:11

Aww, bigs hugs to MrsPretty. I've been here for 9 months now and it does wear you down at times when you think about it in those terms. You'll get there soon my love x

MummyA hope your SWI is going accordingly to plan - hurrah for a positive opk at last! YRMOTB at least things are settling down for you, hope this one is a regular one with some decent OV action. Apple any news from you on RTD or otherwise? Velvet sorry about your RTD and the cheeky upstarts.

Dachs I remember your MIL from previous posts so that is a small miracle!! Nickster i had read the sister's keeper book and agree with your comments. Know what you mean about avoiding friends. A close friend of mine was a few weeks out from my first due date and I have still to see her LO who is 3 months now. I was all set to go the weekend I found out about MMC2 and had to cancel. Really feel guilty now, must see her soon.

MamaP sorry your friend is clearly not thinking straight. Perhaps MummyA is right and you need to be frank? SFB you need a wee break pal, that's not fair!

Welcome loola, hope you find this thread helps you through a horrible time. Heeelllooo LadyB, hope you're having a brill time (stomach rumbles at the thought of all that delicious Indian food).

Waves to BOA, Izzy, ReallyGrumpy, Kat, Owl, JamF, hairy, PFF* and everyone else about. Phew! Catch up with you all later

Wombat33 · 09/09/2010 12:20

Wow this thread moves fast - I can't keep up!!

I'm feeling more positive today. Bleeding is slowing (hopefully) and hormones seem to be reducing (or at least I feel slightly less like a crazy mad woman who's in danger of throwing something at anyone who happens to P* her off Blush). Had another scan yesterday and a long shat with DP and we've agreed to start TTC again asap. So:

Wombat33 TTC#1 Cycle 1 (post MC) UCL 32 CD4

Jamface · 09/09/2010 12:41

Hope you're not feeling too fed up with it all PV. I'm a newbie on here but in reality I've been trying again since February and I'm also an oldie (in years, creak). Some days are more overwhelming than others, I know, but just try to tell yourself that even though it's all taking longer than you intended, you will get there x

barrenbrook · 09/09/2010 13:03

pv where are you now? Feel the same after hanging out here for a year now Sad hugs to you for feeling plop though chicken x

moo honey, hope today goes ok, have jumped on recurrent buns thread too as they are a lovely knowledgeable bunch over there too. I see you've already found your way there x

Hello to everyone else

LottieCrump · 09/09/2010 13:14

Oi-Oi! I was just about to suggest an alternative place to hang out - Fank Gawd! All new laydeez lovely an' that but too much unless you have nothing else to do!

Back from hols last weekend and it took me until Tues to catch up on old fred - idikolus!

Hellooooooo! Am on 2WW and probably need a fish slappin' but if we're back 20 years maybe an old skool cip shop fishcake-ing will do!

BTW - Body Shop stinky green Henna paste - I'd forgotten all about that until now. Probably best. LOL!

Have missed you all. Smile.

LottieCrump · 09/09/2010 13:18

Uh-oh, posted this on wrong fred Blush Soz, no offence meant Blush

PrettyVacant1 · 09/09/2010 13:30

Thanks Jam :)
That means a lot x
Tis not so simples for me, I'm awkward speshul ya see.
My history ain't pretty Sad
Been at it for over 3 yrs now.
Getting updiffed is not usually a problem for me (even though un officially we've been trying now again for about 6 months.)
It's keeping it.
I have exremely high Natural Killer Cells and a duplication of chromosome 22 so even though I possibly can be dose up with steroids and monitored its not going to be plain sailing.
Last MC was a Molar too so it was doomed no matter.
I just hope its 7th time lucky . Hmm

Fanks naughtymoo too but you knows I loves you anyways. :)

Sorry for the miserable post, I should be happy I'm on blimmin' holiday!
Hello to all x

X posts with Bazza its a quieter 6th form common room for gals who feel they need a little more study time to catch up.
< no offence to you lovely laydees >

Tis on conception.
There's a spot there for you by the Air Hocky table.

All are welcome by the way, we can still support and have a laugh together.

appleblossoms · 09/09/2010 14:12

Just a quickie, getting ready to go on holiday - hurray! with the in-laws Hmm Should be good really, sunny France for a week...chance to relax and forget about TTC for a bit. It's DS's first aeroplane ride, and at 18 months I hope I survive, let alone him!

RTD arrived last night, so am back on CD2 today sigh at least I can now say my UCL is 34 days, since I've had two cycles the same length, so that's a bonus...and I have my OPK's to use next month to check I'm not broken, which will also be muchos fun. Can someone give me a kick to the bottom of the list when it next gets updated....as a newbie I think I might break it if I try a proper update!

PV I've been stalking watching this thread since I had my mmc in May, so have been following you and the other prefects for a while... sorry you've had such a rocky road... really hope this TTC malarky gets easier for you. And you are like an ickle prefect round here, popping in now and then with words of wisdom and guidance to keep us other kiddies under control!

dasch thanks for the fish-slap, was just what I needed. Just to echo what everyone else has said about your MIL, what a crazy turn-around! Let's hope she continues to be supportive.... Good Luck!!!!

wombat glad you're feeling a bit better, tis such a horrid experience.... and it keeps hitting you at the strangest of times :( Tis good news about starting to TTC again, don't know about the others but found SWIing a little emotional at first...hope it's easier for you.

hugs to all those feeling crappy, for whatever reason...

Hello all - have updated list for today. TMI - brown spotting here and while I would love to be thinking implantation bleed, I know it's RTD approaching, but will put myself back to CD1 tomorrow so it's in line with CBFM. Am a bit gutted after a mammoth effort this month, but not unexpected as I don't think I OV'd. Anyway the sun is shining here and I managed to get out for a run this morning while DD was at school, so I'm feeling pretty ok about it all - I will be able to drink fizzy wine champagne at the weekend to celebrate wedding anniversary, then we'll start again next month.

prettyvacant - I saw your other thread, looks a lovely chilled out place Smile. Does feel a bit sad to have splinter threads but I do understand that maybe sometimes we just need something different in way of support. I know sometimes the massive super-fast thread feels a bit overwhelming to me, but I love the chat and banter and support that comes with it. Sometimes I think babycentre does this slightly better (I know, heresy Wink), they have a group for Trying After MC with loads of separate threads in it, so doesn't seem overwhelming. But then you don't get the same free flow of chat, which would be a huge loss. And BC does actually piss me off with its millions of groups for everything, so maybe that's a rubbish idea after all

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 09/09/2010 15:14

PS caribou - how did the appointment go?

CaribouMoo · 09/09/2010 16:08

Ah, sorry about RTD Apple, had been wondering about your news. Enjoy your hols though, first time on a plane is usually exciting for little ones. For 10 minutes at least!

Izzy hope yours isn't impending RTD. I've never had any spotting before RTD, or during early pregnancy so can't comment. Liking your positive spin though if it is, you've got to make the best of it. Thanks for asking about the clinic but it was a bit of a waste of time. They won't see me in my current condition and sent me home :)

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 09/09/2010 16:20

"current condition"?! - caribou I really hope I've missed some really good news here...Grin

CaribouMoo · 09/09/2010 16:38

Yes Izzy, sorry for being a tease. Don't know if anyone remembers that one illicit perfectly timed shag while WAITING to conceive. Well it turns out that once is really enough, I thought that only happened to teenage virgins. After all the many months of trying for the previous pregnancies as well, who da thunk it!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 09/09/2010 16:55

Woo-hoo, caribou, that's fab!! Fx that you have the most boring uncomplicated eight months ahead of you!!

Whilst I'm here can I ask a stupid question re CBFM to any other users? If spotting does not erupt into full flow RTD by testing window tomorrow do I still reset it to day 1 or do I wait until RTD arrives properly? I'm just thinking it's a day early so don't know if going to get off to a slow start iykwim

MummyAbroad · 09/09/2010 17:11

Wow, what an excellent place to pop back in, great news Caribou !! xxxxSmileSmile I am really pleased for you SmileSmile

to all the six formers moving across to the other thread, I would like to say thanks very much for the support, its been much appreciated. Especially PV who advised me when I had my mc way back in March. Good luck to you all! XXX

appleblossoms I am off on hols too! Just a cocuple of days at the beach but am soooo looking forward to it. I will also be travelling with a toddler - 6 hours in the car eeek. My plan is: DVD player + bananas + juice boxes. Emergency plan = break out the chocolate.

Choccybick · 09/09/2010 17:16

Hi girls

peeks carefully around the corner and dodges all fish coming splattered in her direction

Choccybick · 09/09/2010 17:17
