Wow lots of posting since I was on yesterday. The lovely RTD has arrived to spoil my weekend (i was hoping for a bit of action, oh well). And it doesn't seem long enough since I had the positive opk. Strange body recovery things going on I suppose. At least I know that I can not possibly POAS for at least the next 22 days so can save some money.

could someone add me on the ttc list

kat2504, ttc#1, cycle 1 post mmc, CD1

youremindme hope the test brings you good news :)
izzy that would be a fabulous present! I have just started with the thermometer but can't seem to remember it every day yet and it doesn't seem as easy as it ought to be. Never mind, had a bit of practice now so hopfully will be better next time.

hairytriangle · 04/09/2010 09:23

Ladybee big squeeze back to you. Sorry you had a horrible day, and I hope you get some helpful answers. Thank you for finding time to support me and others while you are having a shit time.

MamaPower · 04/09/2010 09:35

ladyb you always write such nice posts. It must be horrible waiting for tests and answers but as you say...carry on SWI and you never know, you're positivity is great. FX for you sweets.

Have a great day all. I'm about to head off for a lovely long walk with my mutt, a Boxer, she's as a mad as a box of frogs, but every time I burst into tears she gives such amazing cuddles!

Aw LadyBee enormous massive hugs for you and a giant cupcake with candied lemon peel on top. So sorry to hear about your rotten day - in the immortal words of D:ream, things can only get better Wink . Please nobody say 'who are D:ream?' or I shall feel truly ancient.

For those currently suffering from WTF cycle - BIG sympathy, it is utterly shit not knowing what your body is doing especially when you've been so recently hyper-aware of it; I think that makes it so much harder to deal with.

And everyone waiting to POAS - good vibes heading your way

PS. MummyAbroad have you got a CBFM? That way you get to POAS pretty much every day Grin

BackOnceAgain · 04/09/2010 11:40

LadyB sorry you had a rubbish day yesterday. Ikwym about going back to the hospital SadAnd yes I think you write such nice posts too, so positive...

Good luck to all your POASers (can't wait to join in) Fx for all us lot who are waiting for some kind of cycle to get one soon! Smile

Have a fab weekend everyone Grin

MummyAbroad · 04/09/2010 13:42

Thanks MamaP and Kat for your posts, thats helped me face the idea that I do need to do something now. (would love to just keep shagging and hoping though!) I will get my head out of the sand, talk to DH and try and decide if its progesterone or the pill.

and Kat, I am glad AF has arrived, this must be one of lifes very few situations where you are glad to get your period! I want to start temping too (have remembered to do it this morning for the first time!) Have you tried using an alarm clock to remind you?

LadyB I really feel for you having to go back to the same hospital. I have had to do it lots too and it always has me in tears (doesnt help that there are always 5 pregnant ladies and a couple of newborns in the same waiting area) Try and look at the test results as a WIN/WIN situation - if they find something wrong, then as you say you will be given a treatment, if they dont then that means that everything that has happened before is just bad luck and your chances of conceiving naturally are still high. Good luck to you xxx

owlshoes, No I havent got CMFM, I keep hovering over the BUY button on Amazon, but it does cost a bomb and I have to factor in shipping costs from the US. Thought I would try at least one or two cycles without it first - false economy maybe?

owlshoes · 04/09/2010 14:16

Hmm, super expensive if you include getting it over to the US. Boo :(

Velvetcu · 04/09/2010 14:21

Ladybee sorry you had a rubbish day y'day. Hope you are feeling a bit more positive today.

I dont know WTF is going on with me!! I'm having a bit of dark brown stuff in the mornings and then nothing all day! This has happened for the last 3 mornings (DH pointed out this happened last time I was PG too but I'm not sure it did). I POA very very cheap S yesterday afternoon and got a BFN, but last time I also got a BFN at 5 weeks (would only be 4 n a bit now) and only tested and got BFP at 7 weeks.

Arrggghhh its screwing with my head! Have all the normal AF/PG symptoms - boobs hurt, feel sick and dizzy, heart palpitations but these dont tell me anything. Wish AF would hurry up and put me out of my misery!

Sorry for the mememe but I needed to let it all out!

For those of you waiting for AF post-ERPC, mine took 9 weeks if that's any help.

hairytriangle · 04/09/2010 14:31

Isn't it horrid when thete is a WTF scenario going on, Velvetcu

I have just bought a bike, my lovely DP is currently haring up and down the street on it testing the brakes, and later we are going to go out on a bike ride together in the sun :)

hairytriangle · 04/09/2010 14:31

oh striketrough, strikethrough, why do you always fuck up fail me???

hairytriangle · 04/09/2010 14:32

probably because I have to put before each word

shitforbrains · 04/09/2010 14:54

I hate MyFitnessPal. I was so much happier when I was oblivious to how many calories my lovely scrummy home made banana cake contained.
This is why I am fat.

Thought I'd add me properly

hairytriangle · 04/09/2010 14:59

SFB that made me chuckle.

Me too. I've just ridden my bike up and down the street, feel completely puffed out and now I am thinking 'I must've burned off enough calories to have some cake' Grin whilst conveniently forgetting the cake and wine I need to burn off from yesterday Blush

hairytriangle · 04/09/2010 15:01

Hairytriangle looks around for Digi - have I missed something ? Is she around?

MummyAbroad · 04/09/2010 15:05

thanks Velvet! that 9 weeks info makes me feel a lot better. That sucks that you are getting such weird info from your body, hope you get some positive info (pun intended Smile) soon xxxx

kat2504 · 04/09/2010 15:06

Grrrr even a period hasn't deterred me from my POAS addiction. Instead of testing I am looking at online shopping. Clearblue reckon after 2 cycles I can use one of their overpriced monitors. Anyone else use them and think its worth the money? Or more effective than cheap ov tests?

Hope you are having a nice weekend! In between the webshopping I have finally managed to get a tiny amount of housework done!

velvetcu the waiting is so frustrating isn't it! hope you don't have much longer to wait.

A myfitnesspal is probably a device I had better not get! It would just be telling me off all day long...

hairytriangle · 04/09/2010 16:02

Aw, Kat I've actually POAS whilst having AF visit, 'just to be sure'... Blush

I am on second cycle of using a clear blue monitor - so far so good, picked up a definate hormone surge day 12 so although it didn't give me any more information than I could already glean it's proven another TTC obsession handy tool for TTC. I guess it's confirmed my physical signs.

PinkFondantFancy · 04/09/2010 18:28

Gaaaaah have been feeling sick and off food, tired and a little bit dizzy for a week now, so had myself convinced this might be the month but had pink when I wiped just now :( booooooooo think rtd must be just around the corner. But if that's the case why have I been feeling so, well, pregnant??? Ho hum suppose I'll just wait and see what happens.

Hello to you all by the way, sorry for the me me me post, have been lurking over the weekend but got to dash as got to get dressed in neon for night out now!!

LadyBee · 04/09/2010 22:22

Awww, cheers you guys - you're v sweet Blush

so what type of bike have you got hairytriangle? Is it a super speedy racer? or a chunky-tyred mountain? or more sort of urban retro/grandma upright with basket and bell?

hairytriangle · 04/09/2010 23:41

Ladybee it's a very cheap one from Halfords LOL. It's a 'jump bike' and looks very adventerous, but it is only being used for cycling along straight, flat parts of the countryside!

It was me asking about digi I miss her.

PF horrible isn't it. I have yet another zit breakout (pre-AF ones are only just fading :( ) . Doing my flipping head in!

MummyAbroad · 05/09/2010 01:35

Hey Hairy, I am covered in spots too... the novelty of imagining they are pregnancy symptom has worn off completely...

Choccybick · 05/09/2010 07:42

A very early Sunday morning GOOD MORNING to you

Ive been awake since 6....and can´t get back to sleep. Life is totally unfair. In the week I can´t get outa bed for work and at the weekend its the total opposite. grrrrrrr

BUT - I feel sick. Nervous.Churned up. >
Could just be that I had too much excitement yesterday. A wee shopping trip to Holland, then a night in with Xfactor and my new super-dooper steam iron machine. ROFL

Ladybee ? yes of course Im symptom spotting - as you see above. No more tea cravings though.
Agree with Izzy ?lovely posts.

Izzy ? saw you trying to jump one day ahead on the list

Mama Power Izzy I don´t think I can hold out until next Sat. I will try on Thursday if AF is not there......

Hairy -hope you had a nice bike ride.

What you all up to today?
Hope the sun is shining where you are. My iphone tells me its raining in NCL and London, so I guess it looks grim. Its gonna be nice 21 and sunny here. ((rub it in a bit more.))
Will wander along the Rhine today and go to a vintage market. Otherwise washing and maybe de-junking into ebay.
